Beautiful location, with amazing views and clean, modern facility. The breakfast each AM was terrific, just what you wanted before you start your day, and great food. The shuttle runs every hour, I worried it would be a burden, but we actually appreciated being able to "get away" from busy-ness of town and enjoy incredible beauty with a cocktail in the evening. Staff is very, very attentive, thoughtful, and excellent hospitality.

Staff is excellent. Pool is refreshing. Views are phenomenal. Everything you could want is offered at the property. Breakfast was 10/10. Only suggestion is to have the shuttle run more frequently because we ended up taking taxis a few times. Also if at all possible to pick up in Tasso square it would save a short uphill walk. Love love love the stay!

This hotel completely exceeded my expectations. The staff are all so welcoming from the pool attendants to the cleaners. The hotel is beautiful, stylish and clean. The rooms are so spacious and the views from all over the hotel are incredible! The food served was always delicious. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel as an excellent base to explore the surrounding area. There is a shuttle bus that is reliable and punctual that takes you down to the busy centre. We were glad our hotel was outside of Sorrento as it is much more peaceful up the hill and the views are well worth the short trip on the bus. Fabulous hotel!

We had the BEST week staying at this hotel. From the front desk, waitstaff for breakfast, house keeping to the bartenders (Especially Antonio) it was AMAZING. I am a previous restaurant owner and worked in the hospitality industry for years. I couldn't figure out how everyone was amazing until days later we were told the hotel is locally owned and the owner comes in frequently. Which we did see him one night. Anyway, the views are amazing. They do have a shuttle but you'll probably still need a taxi some, but it was worth it. We had such an amazing time and alot of it was Grand Hotel Aminta itself and all the staff. The pool and hot tub were great too! You can't go wrong with this hotel.

Very nice staff and clean hotel, but the facilities of the hotel did not live up to what at least we are used to and expect at similar priced four star hotels. No free water anywhere, not even at the gym, no bathrobes (only for certain rooms), very poor and limited breakfast selection- only ham, cheese and marmalade were offered as bread toppings, no fresh fruit except for one melon (otherwise only canned fruit), no fresh juices (only prebought sugary juices).
Furthermore, the hotel i situated high up from the centre and the hotel offers a shuttle service to/from the centre, but unfortunately that is not something you can count on as such service too often sends a minivan instead of a buss (even during the most popular hours) which resulted in half the queue or more not making it down and therefore have to wait a whole further hour before the shuttle “service” could take them down. Luckily we had a rental car and could drive ourselves, otherwise we would have been stuck at the hotel every other day.

Reception staff were always available & informative, the shuttle bus to/from town center was a super service, the public bus stops outside for Amalfi trips and the food was delicious. The jewel in the crown for hotel Amnita was the restaurant's manager, with a fantastic memory for our foodie preferences, and managing his staff and the restaurant in the most wonderful way. It was such a treat.

Facilities were very clean and upscale. Veranda was special and outdoor bar and pool. Restaurant staff very professional & pleasant & in white jacket attire. Food was very good. The only complaint I have is that they close the pool & hot tub at 7 pm. If you are touring it makes it hard to get back and swim or hot tub by then. Should be open till say 9pm.

We had a brilliant time - Shane it wasn’t longer. Staff are friendly, helpful and very professional. We were given an upgrade; the food was amazing and table service was fantastic. The hotel has fabulous views and everything you need is there. I would happily return.

very nice place, great breakfast - lovely setting - excellent service. It is quite far from the city center but they have a free shuttle that worked out very well.
Would for sure stay there again if back in the area. We drove, but found one could train from Rome and do bus trips from Sorrento and do just as well.

We loved our time in Sorrento. The Grand Hotel Aminta is absolutely beautiful with a great view of the Bay of Naples. The hotel shuttle into town is very convenient, the restaurant and breakfast each morning is wonderful, and the staff are extremely polite and professional.

1 week honeymoon here and was lovely hotel with great staff and really nice food.
The distance from the town could be problem for some but the free bus shuttle runs hourly so doesn’t cause much of a problem. A 10:30 but back to hotel would be great though.
