The hotel has been remodeled..everything was really nice, breakfast good..and the Mexican Restaurant in the parking lot..was great!

This is a terrible hotel. It benefits from being associated with Hilton suites name but it is no way what that brand promises. It is advertised as “pet friendly” but when you check in and are already on the property they hit you with a 75 dollar fee. The “breakfast” is slim pickings compared to embassy suites in Portland. The room had water damage and the very worst thing is that the hotel has surveillance cameras EVERYWHERE and appear to be more interested in spying on their guests than protecting them. I will never return and I will be much more suspicious of Hilton suites by other names. Oh and the famous Hilton reception is only on Monday through Wednesdays and not on weekends! It’s a total gas light.

Check in time was 3:00 room was ready until 4:36. Room got up to 86 degrees. They could not fix and didn’t have any other rooms available. Breakfast is over at 10am came down to eat around 9 and they had minimal food and I was told they wasn’t going to bring out anymore. Front desk stopped answering the phone. Just a horrible experience

Mexican restaurant next door was excellent. Rooms were very nice. Beds comfortable.
** Pool and Hot tub hours 11am-8pm everyday even weekends and not even connected to rooms so not sure the logic.

Newly renovated…easy access location to the interstate…excellent Mexican restaurant next door…free parking…three gas stations 1/2 block away…will make this my hotel of choice whenever I’m in Richmond…

I was a wonderful experience as always but, housekeeping was short staff having ti chase the ladies to empty the trash cans.
They did with a friendly and willingness .

I selected this motel b/c you advertised it as having a pool and whirlpool. Unfortunately, the motel is under renovation and does not have a functioning pool or whirlpool. I have chronic pain and chose this particular motel because it supposedly had a pool and whirlpool. When I talked with both the front desk worker and the manager, both threw up their hands and shrugged their shoulders, BECAUSE I HAD MADE THE RESERVATION THTOUGH EXPEDIA. This is apparently the wrong way to make reservations here. I observed that there did not appear to be adequate communication (!). Feeling not heard and not responded to, and hoping you can help

When I made the reservation, you DID NOT tell me that the hotel was under renovations and would be noisey all day, the pool was closed and on Thanksgiving and mostly the rest of the time, there was NO housekeeping. Rooms are only cleaned every 4 days. I asked for a handicap room because my husband can not walk, I was given a room on the 5th floor, not handicap and the lady at the desk told me that was my fault because I booked throuh you and not the hotel. When the electricity went out, we paniced because he could NOT walk down the stairs. I will not use you EVER again.

The new renovated room are beautiful. The staff over there are mix feelings. Some are very friendly like the breakfast crew but the evening front desk are no so much to put it lightly.

Check in was quite timely and a hassle. The front desk person could not have been any nicer but had a difficult time getting us settled. I was advised he was having trouble because I'd booked the room through a third party. His system would not accept the credit card used to pay for the room and I'm not sure why. Another card was used and with no issue. The card in question was used minutes later for s few items at the hotel store without issue. Again, I was told it was due to a third party booking ie Hotels.com.

Enjoyed the suite abd full kitchen. The pool temperature was cold hot tub was overly chlorinated staff did not try and solve any of the issues brought to their attention breakfast was more for adults the only thing for children is cereal and muffins omelets had peppers in it woth no alternative choice . Definitely does not meet hiltom standrds not recommend

It’s time to upgrade the bathrooms. There are efficient in the current state, but if you are going to charge 4 star rates, the bathrooms should reflect 4 stars.

The experience was Trash! The carpet was wet in one area of my room due to the AC leaking. How do i know it was leaking? Because we had to gear it dripping all night. Didnt have tooth paste in the rooms so i decided to head to the front and they didn't even have none for sale. The stay was unsatisfying to sum it up.

I really liked the convenience to the Richmond Airport. The hotel offered stay and park with a shuttle to the airport that saved money on parking while we were out of town. The front desk staff were also very courteous and helpful.

I wanted to talk about my latest and last visit to the Homewood suites in Sandston VA.
First I will touch on I love Hilton normally their hotels are top Tier. BUT this homewood suit is not at the same standards. I paid 189 a night, the pool water was so dirty that my 13 old son said he didn't want to swim in the water anymore. ( kids don't normally care about dirt)
2nd, There was a spill in the elevator and they cleaned the floor but whatever spilled was still on the wall and by where u press the buttons.
I just didn't get a clean and friendly vibe.
I have stayed at this particular hotel before and the customer service was good but today my experience with the staff location was disappointing. She was rude, not professional, and really didn't value me as a customers. I am so disappointed in my stay and surprised that Hilton allowed their establishment to go down hill.I came here for my daughter's graduation which was supposed to be special but ending up being a disaster.
If u need to stay in the Richmond Airport area don't choose homewood suites Sandton there are plenty of other hotels, less costly and that are new renovated and much cleaner.

I booked a room, received confirmation, showed up to check in and they did not have a room for me. I slept in my car. What a wonderful experience. Thank god my family wasn’t with me.

Check in was fast and easy Nicole was very friendly and helpful. She put us in a room on the ground floor with easy access to it. The breakfast was very good staff kept replacing food items as needed.

Walls looked like a murder occurred here, bathroom was rust around the tub walls had urine splash on them. The bed was absolute horrible it was like a dollar store mattress.

The room was nice never saw room service and I stayed 3 plus days no one came to empty trash I had to do it myself no phone in the room to call front desk the ceiling fan was wobbling and no light on fan and garbage disposal didn’t work

The hotel lobby is nice and they offer free breakfast in the morning. Check in was easy and they have a restaurant right next door which is convenient. We chose to stay here because we had a flight at the crack of dawn and needed to be close to the airport. We booked the suite for our family of 4. The carpet in the room was filthy and the bathroom/shower was dirty and had mildew. If it was not for the fact we had a very early flight we would have chose a different hotel.
