Renaissance “Bay Club” is my go to when I visit. I was a member for many years. The staff is amazing and the gym in bar none. I will be back in the next few weeks!

The fitness club makes this place a gem. Sauna, steam, pool, ample equipment and fitness classes. We will definitely be back!

Our stay itself was fine. Bed a bit too soft for us. The breakfast quality was good.
Only issue was at check-in regarding no explanation of parking. The front desk rep just pointed where the garage was, but didn't explain the $25 nightly cost or that we needed to validate our ticket at the front desk. As a result, I paid by credit card at the machine the first morning so was double charged ($25+$25) the first day

TV picture not good.
Evening dinner restaurant staff no coordinating to get food to us timely.
Great set up in room though.

People at check in were not very helpful. The rooms were very old and the beds were terrible.

We were greeted at the front desk by a very knowledgeable and friendly man. Our room was ready. Proceeded to go to the elevator and noticed one was “out of order”… Not a big deal until 4 or 5 people and someone in a wheelchair need to get to their room too. (Out of order all weekend) We appreciate the fact that it wasn’t far to the concert venue from the hotel. In the morning we went down to have our breakfast that was included in the price we paid. My husband and I are not picky eaters, but I have to say that breakfast was horrible. The cook to order eggs were cold, the bacon and the potatoes were also cold, and the chicken apple sasuage did not look appetizing. We actually left our plates and went across the street to Starbucks. The next morning we didn’t even go to breakfast even though we paid for two mornings. Very disappointing. The pool was nice except there was no place to casually swim to cool off because the pool was filled with lanes for lap swimming. We enjoyed sunbathing in the lounge chairs and listening to the music. When we returned to our room there was a note on our door to let us know that there would be fire alarm testing starting at 8:00am the next morning. ( If I would have known before hand, I would have stayed elsewhere.)
The loudspeaker rang out around 8:30a.m throughout the hotel announcing that they’d be conducting tests. The strobe lights and alarms were also going off. it was almost comical
We checked out early that morning for obvious reasons.

Great hotel with great accommodations and friendly staff.

The staff was fabulous, there were healthy food options (even for someone with Hashimoto’s) and the spa has just about everything you might need. I was on a book tour, doing 6 events in 4 states in 10 days—yet I felt refreshed and good at the Renaissance Walnut Creek.

We were had a family reunion. Our room was located on 6floor and right above us on roof was mechanical unit which did go in a vibration cycle and loud noise shutdown every 15 min. Called front desk and explain . It was may be about 1AM. He responds was well…. Nobody has complained yet! I said I am complaining ! I can sleep. After a discussion he said I send somebody to look at. It was very bad night we sleep good and I was fighting with Migraines. I also want to complain about parking. When I made reservations no body told me about parking. Access from parking to hotel was really hard and long . The gate was broken and there was a guy standing by the gate and insert our tickets manually to open the gate. Long wait! And still she chariots $25 for the parking that supposed to be free! What a deal! N noisy room , broken gate and Dditional charge for parking and still didn’t hear a sorry weird from the staff!

I loved our stay, the hotel was peaceful and beautiful. We felt safe and the staff were friendly. I would’ve liked more dining options but overall it was a great experience.

Never in my life have I found a place that would not take cash. Couldn't even buy dinner. Had to use credit card. Cost me $30 to park in a handicap parking stall. No room service, NO COFFEE in room. Bed was like laying on floor. HARD. Save your money and go somewhere else. DO NOT go to the Renaissance Walnut Creek Hotel. OH I forgot. They did give me two ( count them ) 2 very small bottles of water. 6 oz if I not mistaken. NEVER again will we stay there. Spent close to $800 for the worst place to spend 3 nights. Could not wait to get out of there. If it wasn't for my mother-inlaw in the hospital, we would have never stayed there.

The staff were all very hospitable with great customer service. The hotel grounds were updated and well kept.
Unfortunately, The food options were limited and there was no room service. The rooms definitely need to be renovated- stained carpets, the chairs need to be replaced and the beds were like sleeping on a cot.

Can’t wait to come back to this property! The pool vibe with the bar made it feel like a little Las Vegas on Mother’s Day weekend and my sister and I had the best time!

There was no atm on the property; there was a constant stream of folks working out, parking was challenging, and the Citrus restaurant was understaffed. Although the food quality was good, our orders took 45 minutes to arrive at the table. I asked for a 4:00 am wake-up call, but it never came. I exited the parking structure to grab a coffee( nothing open in the Hotel), and my room key wasn't recognized I Had to pay 25 dollars after sitting ten minutes at the gate waiting for Assistance. All in all a lot of small things that add up to why pay $70-$100 more to stay here just stay at Embassy Suites next time in Walnut Creek
