We came for Sidepony music festival as performing musicians. Copper Queen is so convenient for walking the town and enjoying multiple venues. Our room was comfortable and we love the atmosphere. I do wish for as much money as the musicians bring in to the town of Bisbee for that weekend, a musician discount would be offered as we have so many travels expenses and play the music for free. I don't know why the restaurant wasn't open on Friday evening. The restaurant could improve it's service, although the food was good.

Cute room but super tiny. Elevator was broken so walking up 3 flights with a bad hip was tough. Liked the shower but found dirty towels left behind.
2.0 / 5.0
The hotel is old fashioned but did have a pod coffee make and plenty of coffee. The hotel was under renovation and the elevator quit working but those were small things.
The staff was amazing which made up for anything else that could have happened. We needed a full set of bedding late at night and they provided it, a person in our party had an emergency and couldn’t make it and they cancelled with no fees.

Elevator was out of service and we were on the fourth floor and we were there for the stair challenge so the additional steps were not welcomed.

Cute, old hotel that charges modern prices to stay. Good for a one time stay but I likely will not return.

We have disabilities and the elevator was broken. We had cleanliness issues In the room.

Was a really cool hotel. Not the most spacious as people were not as big 150 years ago as they are today.
4.0 / 5.0
The hotel is central to shopping, restaurants, and bars.
What I didn't like was the size of the showers - very small!

Room was clean but hallway floors and stairs Ned vacuumed.

Bisbee is great. Copper Queen hotel, not so much. I understand they’re going for the whole era-specific Victorian kinda vibe, but it just comes off as antiquated and lazy. Looks like someone went to the thrift store and just picked out random stuff that looked like it was 100 years old. The wi-fi was in and out throughout our stay.
Upon check out, we opted for breakfast at the restaurant, and I’m not sure why they even bother to open. Took forever to get our food and it was quite obvious they were severely understaffed. With a mere four tables sat, I watched the server turn a fifth couple away because they were backed up. The first two syrup dispensers I was given for my pancakes were stuck closed, indicating that they hadn’t been cleaned since who knows when. The food itself was fine though, no complaints there I guess.
At $200 a night, not worth it in the slightest. I feel cheated.

Historic property

No Elevator. We had to carry heavy bags up 4 floors.

The hotel was quaint and our room was nicely decorated, but it was on the fourth floor and the elevator didn’t work. The service was very slow and the food not great. There is no parking and the hotel seemed as if it was going out of business. The TV in the room didn’t work either. I paid over 300 dollars for one night; I feel like I was robbed. Never again!

Restaurant closed opened late for breakfast on Saturday. Elevator broken. Bar not open Thursday night. Men's bathroom filthy and smelled terrible. Very old building but just need toughly cleaned and touched up or renovated. Also overpriced.

Vintage hotel with great atmosphere…

It is a historical hotel. So everything is super cramped and old. The bathroom and bedroom was the size on a RV. But the history of the hotel & area is cool.

Historic hotel in old Bibbee. Being historic, it is pricey, however after staying in town, I'm not sure there are many choices. The pool was nice to use.

For the price guests deserve to be able to use the elevator, which the staff wasn't upfront about not working. The first floor signage stated to "be patient, only press button once." After several minutes, we went up one flight to find an "out of service" sign on the 2nd floor elevator door. I had to ask, it was not offered, for assistance carrying our bags to the 4th floor. There is no A/C or cooler or fans in the public areas either. There's the homeless lady that happened to wonder in one morning and attempted to steal one of the staff members cell phones. I helped block the door, but the staff doesn't seem to look up from their phones much to greet guests and watch for situations like this. When we returned later that day, the same homeless woman was being arrested...I asked for a discount when I checked out. The $300 a night, even with multiple nights, wasn't discounted at all. You're cute and all, but not worth the $$$.

My husband got extremely ill and we were not able to make this booking. Of course we realize it was 100% nonrefundable, so we just donated $300 to this hotel.

For the price of the room, this is the worst, hardest bed that I’ve ever slept on. The Hotel could be a very nice historical place, however it has not been maintained very well. I did notice online that the Hotel is up for sale.

Parking a challenge. Hotel was as to be expected for the history and age.

The hotel was clean but old as we knew it would be. Never been to Bisbee interesting.
They need to keep up the standards of the hotel just because it’s old doesn’t mean it doesn’t have to be shabby looking.

Hotel has seen much better days! Elevator didn’t work properly. Room was dusty, even the wooden floors showed dust. Bathroom toiletries were bare minimal. Beds were completely hollow in the center. Hotel restaurant was a total disaster and rude! Front desk checkin was good. Check out was poor. Couldn’t even get a printed receipt for our stay. Overall incredibly disappointing. There are many other nice places in Bisbee. Venture out and try those.

The stay was okay. But the hotel restaurant wasn't very good. We had an early mine tour booked so we went down to the continental breakfast right at the time it was scheduled. It wasn't open yet and the guy in charge seemed annoyed at us being there. The next day we gave the restaurant a second chance for a purchased breakfast. Again, it opened late but we weren't in a hurry. But our waitress was very scatter-brained...very poor service, forgot what we ordered, took forever to give coffee refills.

What a disappointment. No parking, dirty premises, couldn’t even track down an iron. Hot rooms. Will never stay here again.

The front office staff were very nice. The rooms are small and especially the shower. The tile in the shower really needs to be scrubbed. There is no parking and the lot that they tell you to park in was always full. We went downstairs to eat. We stood there for 10 minutes and finally a server came over to tell us they were closed. When I questioned their times she stated that they were trying to fulfill the orders that were in. At the time, there were two tables sitting. She said they would be taking an hour break. So I asked if we could return @ 6:00 P.M. her response was we might be open. When I returned at 6, they were closed. We went to visit the bar and the draft beer was not functioning. I know this hotel is very old but I was not impressed at all.

This place is very dirty! Even though they are renovating they should be dusting and cleaning regularly.

The room was decent could use a good dusting and better vacuuming bed was very soft. Would definitely be back great hotel and town.

It was a fun hotel and staff was accommodating by opening restaurant on an off night for our group.

$300 per night for a dirty, sub-standard room with limited amenities. I've stayed at a motel 6 that was cleaner and more comfortable than the Copper Queen, and at a significantly lower nightly rate. Shower looked like it had not been cleaned in a month. carpet was dirty, tile floor was dirty, no view whatsoever, and we found a pill on the floor next to the bed. God only knows what type of pile it was. I realize this property id under renovations, but if they can't do better than this during renovations, they should close down until the project is complete. It will be a cold day in you know where before we consider staying at this hotel again.

Right in heart of Bisbee. Good restaurant and bar with outside seating. Haunted period rooms.
