hotel accepted my reservation from booking on line. hotel was CLOSED FOR SEASON

Stayed in the older section, was dated, restaurant and bar were close for the season, did not state that when making the reservation. We were able to walk to town and back from the location.

The Ptown has consistently been a great experience. My husband and I average 2-3 stays a year. Never disappointed. Love the water views, private beach, food/cocktail service at the pool, easy walk to town, restaurants, free parking, etc. I only wish they stayed open later in the autumn....used to be open until New Years.

Nice and relatively inexpensive (for late August) hotel room. Busy and enjoyable swimming pool. Not sure our room was cleaned even once during our entire four-night stay. Walking distance to downtown and easy access to nature, dunes and beaches is a definite plus.

The Inn itself is very charming and you can see within the Inn all of the local history that's gone on here. Having said that, the hotel itself is crying for an upgrade on almost everything you see here. I appreciate the fact that they want to keep it looking the way it has for years but I'm sorry it's time to freshen up a little bit. The towels here are awful and bathrooms are tiny. The best i can say about Provincetown Inn that it has amazing views of Cape Cod and the town.

The room I stayed in looked nothing like any of the photos on the hotel website. It was extremely crammed and was even hard opening our suitcase and having enough room to move around. The shower was dirty and house keeping only came once and swapped out towels. I was disappointed that our overall experience was nothing like described on the website.

Excellent rexturant for dinner.
Rooms are very basic. We were " upgraded" but cant imagine what the upgrade was as the room was pretty minimalistic.
Parking was easy and you have easy access to everything on the tip of Cape Cod and Provincetown.

I understand it’s not high season, however, very inconvenient when no food available in the middle of the day. Vending machines only had candy and drinks. One machine only took cash, difficult if you didn’t have the denominations it took. We were there for the weekend, outside for most of Saturday and our room was never cleaned. I know everything is about location, but found prices steep for what the condition of room and bathroom were.

We loved our room that opened on to water and the jetty. We were very comfortable and thank house keeping for their good work.

I highly recommend the PTown Inn. My husband and I have stayed there for the last 24 years. The waterfront views are incredible. The staff are pleasant and professional......have never had any issues. I also enjoy the pool and the Inn has a good beach as well (saves from packing everything up to head over the Herring Cove). And there are some great restaurants within walking distance. And we've stayed in all types of rooms at the Inn. All are good.

The staff was very kind and pleasant however the report itself is under staffed. I’m confused why we pay a report fee when non hotel members have access to all amenities as a hotel guest. It was an amazing stay, however over priced for what was received.

Towels from previous guests were still hanging on back of bathroom door. Pair of dirty socks were in the corner of the closet. Shower bottles in shower were empty. Hotel has a musty smell in the hallways and common areas. Too bad as its a beautiful location.

The entire staff was great, so friendly and accommodating. The patio room overlooks the bay and breakwater making the private outdoor seating area relaxing. It was a very enjoyable stay.

Beautiful hotel, loved the Character and charm. Rooms are a little dated but very clean.

I have been staying at the Inn for several years. Check-in was always easy. The last two experiences have not gone well. I feel that the front desk has no idea of what is going on with guest, not very friendly and not very helpful or knowledgeable about the check-in process. I required about staying an extra day and they wanted to move me to another room which made no sense when the hotel had several rooms available for incoming guest

We travelled during May so the pool and breakfast were not open. Front desk very helpful as were cleaning staff. Room on first floor was good!

The Inn is a bit dated, but it has been improved recently. This is our first choice when coming to Provincetown. The views of the bay and ocean are great. The breakfast used to be included and now it is a reasonable cost. The breakfast is better than before and is worth it. The staff is very polite and helpful.

We stayed at this hotel years ago but we were extremely disappointed this time. The location is great but the hotel sincerely needs a really good cleaning. Not only is there a horrible musty smell throughout the hotel but the rooms and bathrooms are pretty dirty and not very well maintained. The first room we were assigned had a mix of black and pink mold throughout the bathroom and shower. The second room we were assigned had less mold and we decided to get Clorox wipes and cleaned it ourselves since we were in the area for a wedding and hotel availability in the area was scarce.

Property is in a great location. Unfortunately the room was dirty the bottles of shampoo and conditioner or just about empty and the pipes in the bathroom were rusty.
Beds comfortable

The building is in desperate need of upgrades
The out door pool is the only thing that saves this place

Great Stay

The shower head kept falling down, the soap/shampoo pumps fell off the wall (weren’t even attached) and the light from the main hallway was so bright through the large gaps in the door to our room, that it was like trying to sleep with a light on the whole night. Being in the water, I think it needs to be maintained more frequently. Way overpriced for room quality.

The Provincetown is a charming, historic property. While it may be a little time worn, the location, on site amenities and staff are wonderful. If you are looking for sleek and modern, this is not for you but if you appreciate history and convenience the Provincetown Inn is one of the best places to stay in this area.

The location of the inn is amazing. We had a room that opened onto the lawn by the pool (I believe it was called Harbor View) and stepping out and watching the sunrise, grabbing a coffee and sitting in the adirondacks, hopping over to the pool for a swim were all so nice. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom had shampoo/conditioner and bodywash dispensers. Other than that, it was pretty basic. Our room was advertised on Expedia as accommodating 3 but all it had was a king size bed. I expected a sofa or something for the 3rd person. I mentioned this at the desk and the guy said he would look into it but wasn‘t particularly concerned. The resort fee of 35 seemed unnecessary at those prices considering there is just coffee/tea offered. I guess it‘s for pool towels and internet but that should be included. Having said all that, i would still stay again for the location.

Save yourself the trouble of having to write a bad review after you stay there and don’t stay there. Over priced and very outdated and cheap accommodation. Paint peeling and cracks in tile in bathroom and decor looks like they shopped in the dollar store

The hotel is lovely - a nice mix of old style and modern rooms. The bathrooms could do with modernising however they were clean. The pool area is really nice and the views of the beach from the balcony were lovely! The only downside was the AC unit was really loud and disrupted our sleep slightly.
Provincetown was such a fun and warm place to visit. Only takes around 25 minutes to stroll into town but the hotel offer a shuttle service too which is great!
Would definitely recommend.

The pool was quite cold, but the area is beautiful. Breakfast was very good, and the staff was helpful.

The room was spacious. Our king size bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was clean. And the restaurant in the resort was great. The food was delicious and the server was very friendly and had our order very quickly. We will be returning for another vacation.

Not what I am use to from this Hotel or Hotels in general…. Stay did seem well intentioned but lacked training and experience. Vending machines, carpets, heaters, chairs, and other items very dirty or broken. I had to delay dinner due to no housekeeping service/towels. When requested the front desk said ok….. one hour later I went down to ask in person. The this point the nice man said “they are just out of the dryer”. Please train staff to “set expectations” if they said that when I first asked and notified me it would be a hour wait I would have left for dinner. I also notified them the soap dispensers did not work and were never filled either. I was as disappointed more at the management for lack of training than the staff for execution of work orders.
