Used to stay here a few years ago. Gone down hill. Starts with the very unwelcoming email from them about rules & ID requirements for check in. They have my full credit card details & a Gold Hotels.com client. What more do they want? Want to see your drivers licence & then writes down licence number etc, why? Room was so full of cleaning scent, tried to air it out as best as possible. Door was poorly fitting, would not meet fire requirements in fact slung a towel over it to stop the light coming around edges. Breakfast very expensive, then trying to do the hard sell at check-in at a discount price. Didn’t take that up. No Restaurant or Bar seemed available in the evening.
Have stayed at over 30 places this year, most have been very good or excellent. Not this place, suggest avoid. This is part of a group, not sure about their other hotels, but they need to up their hospitality & quality here.

Car park was quite large tho not sure there would be enough spaces if very full. About 10 mins from airport. Staff friendly and helpful-quick process. Lift to upper floors 👍. Room was huge and clean. Little balcony with view to river. Plenty of amenities. Bathroom was good with shower over bath. The plug was a little too small so when I tried to use the spa option I had to switch it off quickly! The Saturday night was a little noisy (I think it was families) and from across the road.Get a room carpark side might help. Did not use the pool or catering so can’t comment on those.

The glasses and coffee cups in the drawers under the kettle were so dirty, I had to wash them in the bathroom sink with hot water and shampoo. The headboard and side tables and overbed light switches were so dusty I had to find a chemist the next day to buy antihistamine medicine because the dust made me sneeze all night! The bed was meant to be a super king but felt like two king singles joined together by a plank of wood which we could feel in the middle, and there were no warm blankets on the bed, not sure how a top sheet and a duvet inner with no cover is meant to work! We dont sleep with the heat pump on and it was cold in that room. The shower door only goes part way and there is nothing to stop water from going right on the floor, slip hazard! So, we won’t be booking here again. Unfortunate, because the front desk staff were great!

Great reception on arrival. The receptionist, Jeffery, was
very friendly and offered to take our bags to our room.
Room was very tidy and clean. The only drawback was the shower over the bath as we both have mobility issues.

Walls are paper thin. You can hear the person cough in the room next door. Unfortunately guests were having domestics between multiple rooms all night obv no security cameras monitored at night as this was constantly in the corridors keeping everyone awake. Nice rooms and size

Stayed one night on business. Nicely renovated hotel

Staff were great, received an up grade. Bathroom had no extraction, shower head needed work. Joints and sealants needed work

Tired/ bathroom was something from the 80s. The Heatpump didn’t work in the room so pretty cold. Expensive for what it was even with wotif discounted price. - although the same room type was advertised for less about half an hr before I booked. I called direct to ask a question about the location and they quoted me much higher and then must’ve changed the pricing on wotif.

I had a problem with booking probably due to my age. When I rang the Hotel and asked if I could book, I was cut off. Ended up booking through Expedia. Would appreciate a toaster and microwave in the room. Staff were pleasant, rooms clean and quiet.

I’ve stayed with them about 20 times and I’m sick and tired of producing photo ID - no other hotel wants that
I won’t be staying again so that’s 8 years of loyalty gone

Nice. Well built.

Cleanliness fine. Bathroom fans are a nuisance, can hear them from other rooms all through the night. Beds okay but a bit hard.
Terrific chef, Mintu, produces yummy food. Could extend the menu though with more choices.

Lovely breakfast, newly renovated rooms.

Older property but surprisingly the rooms have been done up very nicely. Pity the house bar closes so early. Would stay again

Our room was close to the road and there was a lot of early morning traffic noise
