The room was very clean.
The price was very affordable.
The service at the front desk was great.
The only thing I can say that was maybe a little different was when we checked in and came into our room many different times while we stayed, it always smelled like pot.

We went for the Bentlyville lights and site seeing so we wanted a clean, quiet place to sleep on a budget. Though the rate was understandable to the area, the bed was pretty uncomfortable and it wasnt quiet. But it was very clean, spacious, and the staff was very nice. Will visit again.

For the low price, this was a great choice. In the action and with in 2 miles to downtown, 6 miles to Glenshen Mansion and 2 miles to Bentleyville Lights. Very clean and nice service.

The halls smelled of weed. The room was nice and clean though. Parking is challenging at times (especially night). We mainly stayed because they allow pets.

Last year we came up with our dogs, and they were able to stay in the room with no issues... Now this year- nope.. they suddenly changed those rules????
We're not gonna come back to this motel, it was not cleaned up, smelled of smoke, the bed was incredibly uncomfortable.
Yes it's okay for a cheap stay, but like no..

Beautiful and clean. A lot of the building smells like cigarette smoke, which is a bummer

Very nice place, clean and confortable.

The room was run down and very noisy. The baseboards in the doorway to the bathroom were completely rotted off.

I stayed overnight at the Motel 6 for business and it was very comfortable. The rooms were clean and staff friendly. And a real bonus was being in walking distance of the Duluth Grill! I enjoyed my stay.

Clean, updated and comfortable. Perfect for one night stays, great for pets as there is no carpet and the price is perfect with all the other hotels so expensive now.

Hallways are dark and dingy. Room was okay. Very basic. The reviews overstated this but it was okay for a cheap night’s stay.

It was a very nice room, enjoyed our stay

It was Good For a Motel 6. Rooms are updated nicely. Only thing I didn’t like was they didn’t supply Conditioner. I forgot to bring my own and they didn’t have it.

Rooms recently refurbed. Strong smell of pot in the hallway, came through the door into our room. There were a lot of notices about safety, locking your vehicles, your room door etc. Door to room didnt latch unless we pushed it closed. Doors to hallways were locked. Security cameras everywhere. As a woman who frequently
travels alone, unless I have my hubby or my large dog with me, I probably wouldn't stay at this location again.

When we arrive apparently the worker was to involved in her phone to look up and greet us or check us in . After a few minutes, she stated “just a minute “ and continued on phone. The room overall was decent, but the bed was horrible. Very uncomfortable. My husband & I woke up very sore and stiff. Staff in the morning were more approachable & welcoming.

It s melt like smoke. I thought every indoor place was supposed to be no smoking.

I was impressed with this Motel 6. The rooms were new, clean and spacious. Their management also seems to maintain the building with professionalism. Things are taken care of quickly and efficiently, and I see their staff cleaning even the exteriors of the buildings in a systemic way. Location is not glamorous, but close and convenient to everything in the area. We had a pleasant and comfortable stay!

Our room was clean, and had plenty of room. The bed was older, but we slept well. The hotel was in a convenient location and close to some good restaurants. It was an affordable price, especially compared to all the other hotels that were charging double rates during the university’s family weekend.

My husband and I stayed for a quick night on a roadtrip. We were only there for about 6 hrs, so we didn't want to spend a lot of money. It was fine, but not great. Compared to a super 8 motel we stayed in recently, this motel 6 was a major downgrade from that similar hotel group. This one was very old, very dingy, and smelled or cigarettes. The bed was comfortable enough, but the wall were paper thin, so we didn't get a lot of sleep. You could hear the persons phone vibrate in the room next to us. That's how thin the walls are. It was fine for a quick stay, but we will probably stick with Super 8 next time for a step up in quality and free breakfast for almost the same price.

Out room was very run down. The sink had many cracks in it, the bathtub drain didn't work (couldn't get the water to stay in), bathtub had a large plastic waterproof patch on the side of it, and the over cleanliness wasn't what I was expecting.

Could not get into the building at any of the outside doors using my room key. Many of the tenants had their doors open. People outside the building were homeless people. Very sketchy area. Being it was us 2 women we didn’t feel safe staying there. So I asked for a refund and we found somewhere safe to stay.

Microwave in the room, but would have preferred a coffee maker. Bed springs a little squeaky.

Just okay. Nothing to justify the over $100/night price

Good hotel. Parking is weird. Great a/c! Pricy but Duluth is crazy busy on beautiful fall weekends so it makes sense.

Super easy check in and staff was great.

We were very disappointed in our stay. The stairs and hall were dirty and gross? The shower curtain rod was hardly attached to the wall and would not hold the curtain up. The room was dirty and gross. The bed you could feel every spring. The employee at the desk was very rude to the customers before us as well as us. We paid $217.00 for one night which was ridiculous. Breakfast not included. We will not stay here again.

Found a long black hair on shower wall.
No carpet in room. Spilled some water and when we wiped it up, the towels turned black.
Pillows very thin. Came with 3 in the room. When asked for another, they were out. Bed was not comfortable. It was like a bed you’d see in a dorm room. Bathroom sink is outside the bathroom next to the entry door. Very strange.

There was black long hair on the floor and in the bath tub. The coffee tables were very dirty and stained.

What you want from motel 6. Clean decent room, budget appointments. Located behind a business, but near attractions in Duluth, best price in that location. Nothing special, but is you want an inexpensive, decent place in an area that attracts warm-weather tourism for the night, it fits the bill.

Items offered to guests were very limited. Shampoo but no conditioner. Nothing to offer guests who forgot things like a shaver or toothbrush. The room smelt like someone was smoking close by and covering it up with spray. The air was thick. People live here so you meet people walking around with their laundry in garbage bags. The walls are thin and you can hear every step people make on the stairs. The front desk person offered no conversation or smile. I would not recommend this place.

Parking lot kinda dirty

We stayed in room 104. Room was exactly what we needed. The folks above us sounded like elephants and were a bit annoying as they were constantly walking all night. Recommend a upper level room.

Not the best not the worst

Definitely not worth the $200+ we paid. Bathroom door did not close, ( because of water damage) the bathtub drain was clogged, so when taking a shower, you were standing in a foot of water. A huge gap on the bottom of the entry door. And dead spiders and bugs in the bathroom. On the positive side, the beds seemed clean, you don’t need a night light ( plenty of light from the gap in the entry door) and the bugs were already DEAD 😅👍

loved the newly renovated room, but door to 112 is beside an open space where people were parking and gathering until past 3am, door not completely closed we could see outside, and rain water entered by bottom
