If you don’t ask otherwise, your room will be cleaned every day and your towels and bed linens changed daily too. The hotel is a few steps away from Ilhavo’s main avenue in the city center where you’ll find a park, cafes, restaurants, and stores.

Hotel in urban setting, easily located. Offers free underground security store. Dining facilities adequate, meals good. English well-spoken. Swimming pool was closed out of season, though we were not advised of this when we made the booking.

Excellent place to stay. We had a car so we could easily drive into Averio from the hotel. Hotel provided underground parking which was also a bonus. The staff were outstanding and very helpful. The included breakfast was fantastic. They provided an assortment of meats, bacon, eggs, pastries, fruit, coffee, tea etc. The croissants were to die for!! Highly recommend staying here. If you don't have a car you can easily travel to Averio via Uber for about $5 Euros.

Located close to Aveiro, plenty of free parking, large room, helpful and friendly staff. Had a welcome port drink at checkin. Older hotel but kept up, very good spa and indoor pool, excellent breakfast, large room, overall a great value. Close to beaches too.

Excellent stay and value. Rooms are a good size. Nice comfortable beds. very clean. Friendly staff. plenty of parking. Garage is small, but there is plenty of space around the property to park. pools were nice, good selection of gym equipment, a spa, etc. restaurant on site was cute and a decent value. continental breakfast included was excellent. overall a great place to stay in the aveiro area.

I stayed at the Hotel Ílhavo Plaza for a week in June 2022 and it was excellent! I proposed to my Fiance at this hotel during a dinner and it was memorable! The hotel has many great amenities and great service by all the Staff. I highly recommend this hotel when visiting Ílhavo, Aviero and surrounding cities in Portugal.

The hotel does not deserve 4 stars, maybe 3 at best. Needs updating. Access to the hotel was very difficult. The whole hotel smells like chlorine, probably from the indoor pool. The breakfast was ok, but the worst coffee I ever tasted.

The hotel is in a very quiet up market residential area with plenty of secure parking next to the hotel. There was an excellent Portuguese style restaurant some one hundred metres away, otherwise you need a your car or taxi.We ate in on our first night. They had an excellent buffet in a beautiful setting , with very good live music entertainment. The hotel rooms were spacious and in excellent condition throughout. Would stay again. Used the hotel as a base to visit Alveiro and Porto

There is nothing like true Portuguese hospitality. Every staff member ensures you needs are met, you have everything to make your staff perfect. The Jacuzzi was not working in my room so I was given access to the penthouse suite to use that jacuzzi during my stay. The restaurant is beautiful, the gym and sauna a nice addition but for me the highlight was the golden spa massage which was divine, the therapist an angel who offered the best massage I have ever experienced.Location is close to Aveiro, a true little venice, a modern bustling town that needs to be explored and appreciated.The only annoying aspect was the outdated misinformation hotels.com had about the hotel and its services and incorrect prices offered and charged, but that is not the hotels responsibility.

Beautiful, spacious rooms. Great, super-friendly staff. Free parking. We were lucky enough to get a Friday night buffet at the restaurant. Only 15€ per person for a great spread!

The property is quiet and comfortable. There is a beautiful outdoor pool and I heard there was an indoor pool as well (need a bathing cap). The breakfast was quite robust and there was a lot to select from. The rooms are comfortable. Simple amenities. Comfortable bed.

Nice hotel with great staff. Room was clean and perfectly fine for a few nights stay. Nice outdoor pool, the spa was also great, but you are required to wear a swimming hat to use the indoor pool and hot tub. Quite a big selection for breakfast which was good. We also received a free drink/beer voucher upon arrival that we could use if we ate at the hotel restaurant.

I had a great stay with the Hotel Ílhavo Plaza, all the staff were very friendly and approachable and dealt with any questions i had. I also took advantage of the gym and spa onsite and again the staff were great, I even got asked if i wanted to join some of the classes that were happening at the time. Breakfast was also very good with a wide range of options available.
