Great relaxing quiet resort with super friendly staff

This is nice and clean. Staff is very helpful and friendly. The distance to town is a little far though. A nice food court with local food nearby.

Attentive and very friendly staff in all areas. Beautiful pool with good facilities. Located right on the beach. Plenty of food options and very short walk to even more choice. Had a lovely stay here. Would definitely return.

Lovely location right on the beach front. The hotel is slightly dated but offers everything you’d need for a relaxing stay.

Service level is good but the condition of the hotel is disappointing. The building is old, cleanliness is bad as many ants crawling in the room including toilet, sofa and almost everywhere. There was a bad smell from the main drain hole surrounded the hotel.

Some improvements have been incorporated after our last visit two years ago, but much more needs to be done.
Renovated rooms very good, but there is a real lack of hanging space.
The swimming pool shower is really dangerous, with the concrete edges sinking into the ground, this was pointed out to Francoise the manager two years ago.
However the staff are very friendly and helpful, if no under trained.
All rooms have a sea view, and this boutique hotel, should be on your must stay list.

Staff are very helpful and pleasant. Pool is very good being nice for swimming or just chilling. Breakfast choice is excellent. Perfect location for night market, restaurants, bus stop, taxi rank, beach and everything else.

The bedrooms are very modern and of good design - spacious and bright with a large balcony overlooking the pool (room 316 top floor).
The bungalow dining area is very old and in need of modernisation. Wooden tables/chairs chipped and old-fashioned and many of the chairs which had cream covers on them looked in need of washing. Buffet breakfast was OK with freshly cooked eggs and noddles to order but overall barely 3 star.

Great location. Enjoyed the pool and breakfast. The downstairs public areas are designed to capture the sea breeze.

The overall look and features of the room were 10/10. Lone pine is stunning, much more beautiful then the other hotels. We love the hotel.. Natural environment, privacy from the main beach. The room is large with balcony over looking the gardens. Breakfast is superb plus Jeeva and the team although the restaurant is busy and keep helping the guest needed. Front office team, Housekeeping team and whole lone pine team is really taking care us. We will come again for our next holiday.

It was a beautiful experience. Because I have always looked for a colonial style hotel. This is the one. It has maintained well even though it was built in 1948. The beach is just next to the hotel and the garden in the hotel is romantic.
It would have been nicer if the corners and the shelves of the room were cleaner. Also, there haven't been many Koreans so they acknowledged I was Japnese naturally even on the document.
You should pay deposit 100rm when you check in and they said it will be automatically refunded within a week from checking out. I am still waiting.

Good location, a bit old facilities but well condition, good staff.
About the breakfast, the quality can be improved more, enough for me but not attractive for my girlfriend. At least fruits, salad and coffee level can be better.
In our room, the safety box was broken and it takes long time to deal with this matter, this was disappointing. We wasted our time for this.
*In my opinion, the staff should have exchanged the box into not broken one, and they should have fixed the broken box at backyard of their room.

This is a nice and relaxed hotel by the beach. Its not on the level of Shangri-la and that is reflected in the price. Room has been updated and is modern. Breakfast could be better.

It is a historic hotel by the beach, extended multiple times. The rooms sizes are huge and comfortable but the bathrooms need an update and clean. The market eatery on the side of the hotel was convenient but a bit noisy at night. The restaurant staff were friendly but undertrained. Plates were not cleared efficiently at breakfast and the crockery was old.

Not a boutique hotel. Not so well maintained and cleanliness leaves much to be desired. Does not deserve 5 stars.

This was a great spot for relaxation. The amenities ensured a very comfortable stay
