Very easy check in. The bed and pillows were super comfortable

There was a barking dog for portions of the night

Close to where I needed 😊

Quaint little area.

The room we had was with a king sized bed, couch sitting table with plenty of room. The room was ground level with a sliding glass doo with two rocking chairs just outside for sitting and relaxing in the morning air. One one the nicest cleanest rooms we have been able to stay in years.

When I reserved the rooms I specifically asked for non smoking rooms. Adjoining rooms. And one had to be handicapped. The property staff said they did not get the message. Only non smoking rooms was what they got. Very inconvenient. My mom needs the handicap accessible room. We did not have adjoining rooms. They blamed it on Expedia.

Has not been updated since the 80s and needs it. Worn bathroom fixtures, carpet, furniture. Nice people but the place needs upgrading and the breakfast was not high quality.

I expected better. Average hotel bur breakfast was disappointing

The room was very clean. Bed was made and new towels everyday. Staff was friendly.

Beautiful view from balcony. Convenient to highway.

We enjoyed the view of the mountains from high on the hill. The room was slightly dated, and the a/c seemed to have a bit of trouble pulling temps down, but it was satisfactory (note: it was a hot day with temps in the upper 80s). The king bed was adequate, but in my opinion, a bit uncomfortable (note: I am used to a very firm mattress). We enjoyed the rocking chairs sitting outside our sliding glass doors, and they offered an excellent place to view the mountains.
If you are looking for a basic and inexpensive place to stay, then you can't go wrong with this Days Inn. We would stay again.

Nice hotel. Thank you very much

Was a great stay except the construction crew staying there as well completely wiped out the breakfast every morning, no fault of the hotel though. Good value for money! Clean!!

The breakfast was not good at all. Very disappointed.

I went to the front desk 4 different times about the noise and my fridge not working they did nothing absolutely nothing except say I’m sorry. I slept in my vehicle two of the nights and the hotel was aware of it.

The location is nice and secluded but not too far from amenities. The rooms are clean but could definitely benefit from some updates and repairs. The bathroom in the room we were in had several issues; tub had a patch and felt very soft. The drain plug was broken off and removed from the tub. The shower curtain rod was pulling away from the wall and the toilet sat crooked.

My TV had to be reset the first night,it wasn't working properly. I woke up the next morning and there was no 'basket' to make coffee. The next night the TV had to be reset and the next night. After the first 3 days I just reset it myself. I was there for 6 nights. The day before I checked out, I asked about an adjustment on my bill, because of the TV. I was told no because I could have moved rooms. I was never offered to change rooms, even the third night when they had to reset it.

Friendly staff. Easy to get to. Parked right outside our room.

Incompetent front desk/ manager checked into 3 rooms. We always do a bed bug check. 1st room the door was completely unlocked and open.
2nd room we found drug paraphernalia just under the mattress. (A used needle and syringe)
We immediately went to front desk
Who said the picture we took for the needle was not from their property and they would not check so a we called the police who removed the itemS

We liked the setting on a steep hillside right off the highway and the main entrance to Waynesville. The motel needs some updating for users of electronic devices. The bed was comfortable, table and chairs handy and the balcony lovely -just was too chilly to enjoy in December. Breakfast was continental and basic.

If you're debating whether to pitch a tent or get a hotel, this place is for you. It's a good, inexpensive place to crash. bed is comfortable, water is hot.
I stayed for 4 days and never once saw a cleaning person. But they did leave a tip envelope for me. lol
Had to reset the room key every day I was there, and towels are as thin as gauze.
I will say, for all the downfalls, the staff were the nicest, friendliest people I've ever found.

The staff was very courteous & helpful. The facility was fine, nothing special. The rooms were on the smallish side, cramped for 2 full beds but if all you're doing is sleeping there, you could have 4 adults. The carpet in the room in which I stayed could do with a steam clean.

Loved the balcony with a great view of the Waynesville mountains

We came here for my birthday. I think that the services could have been a little better. Beautiful views are all around, have some respect for your work place. We may try a different hotel next time.

In 27 years of doing concerts and booking hotes, I have never had such a horrible horrible experiance. We had to move all our guests we could to another hotel on the day of the event. That woman running the hotel was charging our guests double for he rooms we had booked back in February and you had our card. What an absolute Nightmare. That woman was insane and screamed and yelled at an 80 year old war veteran. She should be fired right away. We want everydime of our money back that was charged to our card. Hotels.com did nothing to help us. I will never use it again and certainly never that hotel. They have ruined your name there.

Old hotel in need of repair. Price was high for condition. We just needed a place to sleep and it was quiet so that was a plus.
2.5
My stay was very nice. The building is in the process of getting a new roof. So parking was limited. Knowing how roofing goes, there were shingle sand and roofing nails on the balcony.
The staff was super friendly. I would go back in the future.

Room smelled like stale smoke. Past customers had smoked on the balcony and must have left the sliding glass door open into the room, plus the cigarette butts were left on the railing. Coffee from the office was good. But breakfast was nothing that either of us would even consider delving into. Front desk staff was super nice and helpful. Beds were comfortable. Plenty of pillows. Carpet was sock wearing worthy. View was great. Price was great. This is an older hotel. Each room has a balcony facing the mountains which was nice.

Clean and fresh

Great location. Could use some updates on the wood railings on the balconies as the top rail was extremely bowed. The rocking chais are great tho with beautiful mountain view and beds are very comfortable.

Overall the property was good. Hard time getting into the door. Not always anyone at desk. Had to wait 10 minutes to check out.

Great place to stay & get a quick breakfast in the morning. The premises is bright at night & the check in/out is very straight forward. The environment was quiet during my stay; though the parking lot was full, I didn't hear anyone! My room was clean though it smelled a little fonkey. The only major downside here is the facility exterior needs a thorough cleaning & paint touch up. It's looking gross around the edges.

Most comfortable bed ever! Loved the hotel and it’s staff. We will definitely stay here again.
