After being given rooms which had not been prepared or cleaned, we were moved to rooms which had been prepared.
The breakfast choice was very good and plentiful and the restaurant at night offered good meals if you didn't want to travel elsewhere.
Overall experience was good and staff were always helpful.

Very nice staff. Convient location. They have a nice deep bathtub. Paid breakfast is the best option for price in the area.

The hotel locates closely to Zaanse Schans and also the city centre, but since I am driving, I am not sure about how it takes for public transportation. The staff are friendly in general and facilities are clean.

Cheap and cheerful

Got key to room, opened the door and room not been made up. Bed looked like last occupant just got up and left. Unable to operate shutters and they were in real need of a clean. No food available as Chef / Cook on holiday.

Basic accommodation but comfortable and very clean. Service was excellent, every member of stall was friendly and helpful and spoke great English. Food was excellent. Perfect base to explore Ghent, Bruges and Antwerp.

Clean room, bed and bathroom. Nice breakfast.

Nice basic hotel. Comfortable bed. Good shower but rather high bath to climb into.
Friendly staff. Good location & free parking on site.

Too expensive for no reason. This hotel is the worst within this chain. I have stayed in many Hotel Campanile properties but this one is in serious need of refurbishing. Also you cannot boast to have a restaurant and bar only to find them shut at 5om on arrival. Clearly thats wrong information and worrying for any persons or families planning to stay here. Sadly however you offer guest the opportunity to buy alcohol from a fridge and invite them to kill themselves by drinking alcohol with no food. This makes no sense.

I should pay twice for one stay. I paid when I book the hotel and paid at the property. It was duplicated payment. But they never refunded.

Loved the walk in shower and separate toilet. The room was very comfortable. The evening meal with robot service was excellent. The choice at breakfast was outstanding. Would recommend this hotel and if we travel that way again we would definitely stay there.

Very friendly staff, good restaurant for breakfast and dinner. Bus stop close to property, good parking at complex.
Clean bedding.

The Hotel is old, far away from the city center, its calm and good for relaxing. The bad is good but the bathroom is really old, terrible to shower, with a small bathtub and old curtains that wet the whole floor.
We arrived late and our room was dirty, the toileit was clogged and with poop. We asked for another room and they changed it for us without problem.
The breakfast is pretty good, the only problem was that my husband wanted to grab a banana at 6 in the morning (because he runs 1h every morning) and the lady caused confusion saying he was going to eat breakfast twice....because of 1 banana!!

Rooms look very poor from the outside, yet are surprising comfortable inside, if small.
Don’t trust the cleaners, things do go missing, especially from suitcases.
Restaurant has only a limited menu but the food is very good and the staff friendly
Try to stay to the front of the accommodation block as there is a noisy industrial unit to the rear that works throughout the night.
Don’t open the windows unless you have good bug spray, the mosquitoes will eat you alive!

Small, simple, clean rooms, free on-site parking is great. The restaurant downstairs is surprisingly good

Great for a stopover visiting Ghent. We had a motor home and couldn’t find a convenient campsite so chose this hotel for a night. Staff very helpful and pleasant. Breakfast good. Reasonable rates. Quick Uber into the city.
3.5
Very basic but great location for our needs. Quite pricey for 2 star but it was the opening classics weekend so I guess you pay a premium!
I would use again

It’s okay, For business. Not near the city.

Old smelly room. Missing soap in bathroom, open ventilation duck with cigarette smell coming from adjacent room.
3.5
Budget accommodations. Easy access to the metro. The room I stayed in had a mosquito infestation.

In a very busy location (in terms of traffic and noise). Hotel full of Eastern European workers who sit outside rooms smoking, drinking and playing music into the late night. Leaving all their rubbish outside. Very intimidating going to the room walking through them - felt like a prison. Next to a noisy factory that drones on all night. Room small and basic and dirty cloth left in the bathroom. Breakfast was good. Would not choose to stay again

The hotel was standard, like the other campanile hotels, but our entrance card got problems 2 days in a row and we couldn't enter the room. One day, it was after 11 pm so we needed to call the hotels number. Luckily one of the employees was sleeping in a room and could help us in 5 minutes. The day after, we came back at 6 pm and the card wasn't working again, and the reception was already closed, for some reasons I don't know. Again, the same employee helped us. I was nice to get the help almost immediately but it would be nicer to write some signs by the entrance of the reception with emergency numbers and opening hours of the reception.

The shower was falling a part and sending water everywhere.
The property needs a lot of money spent on it.
