Very noisy from traffic, bed was so uncomfortable, you could feel every spring. And it's not a case of you get what you pay for as we have had much cheaper Travelodge's that are far more comfortable.

I dont mind the Campanile Hotel in Hull its a little bit grotty thought, the price is good. The £5 increase in price to keetwo dogs there wasnt great followed by the £2-50 charge to put uour car registration in the computer- this used to be free
3.4
Poor quality bed. Expected better for £74
3.4
A good value hotel

We always enjoy an excellent stay there and find it good valuable for money and near to all the attractions.
A very big thumbs up👍

Booking in was ok but we were not told to register our car to park. We remembered1 hour later as we had stayed before. The steps leading to upstairs rooms were covered in autumn leaves and puddles of water leaking from above pipes making walking very, very dangerous. Comment from reception "Yes, we know. That's why there are 2 signs there"!! Better response from a different person when checking out next day was that contractors were due that morning. Overall, bedroom was ok, facilities ok.

Couldn’t make the trip due to family emergency and Hotel and Hotel com both refused refund! 1week cost out of pocket wouldn’t use either again
3.4
Was a good stay and friendly staff
3.4
very basic motel type, small room, limited facilities cheap but not great value
3.4
Beds are awful, hard springs sticking into you, never slept properly, got up aching and stiff. If the beds are knackered and you get no sleep, what is your purpose?
3.4
This is a very tired property, very dated. Carpets and curtains are threadbare and the mattress was so uncomfortable, you could feel the springs, it was the worst I've ever slept in. Everytime we rolled over it was like playing the xylophone!
The only good things were, Linen and towels were clean, staff friendly and free parking.
Definitely wouldn't stay here again.

Very poor will never stay again in there hotels

Although the buildings look run down, our room was surprisingly comfortable albeit small and very basic and seems to have been recently redecorated. With blackout curtains and some sort of soundproofing we were not affected by the busy location although we were at the back. Hot water was plentiful and there was a controlled heater if required. Sachets of tea/coffee/milk were limited by willingly topped up on request. There is no restaurant as such but you could order a breakfast panini or a basic pizza later - however there are several places to eat only 10 minutes walk away in the centre of Hull, where there are also numerous excellent museums. Onsite parking is free, which makes the property even better value
3.4
The room was adequate and we were given a quiet room overlooking the carpark. However, there was a very stale smell in the room.
It was well situated to walk to all the museums and marina.

nice,not fancy,has a nice restaurant

Every expense had been spared. Everything felt outdated. TV didn't work. Mean with tea/coffee/milk. Small, thin bath towels. No separate hand towel. No bath mat to go in bath when showering. No hand grabs in bath.
3.4
Very good value and very clean but whole place looks very tired. Convenient for Hull city centre and has plenty of free parking space

My room stunk of cigarettes.it was unclean. The camponile needs a full upgrade.never stay there again.shocking

Dated and run down, beds where awful and the room wasn't clean. informed the reception to be told that yes I'm right they are planning a complete refurb with new beds.
Doesn't really help my stay now.
3.4
Mostly ok, a bit more effort on cleaning taps etc.... and only shower worked, the mode to switch it over to bath tap only didnt work.

Arrived 10pm, left 5am. Bottle water from vending machine very useful. TV remote sleet function not working, more don’t work than do.

Great people

The room needed modernising but was very clean
& lovely & quiet. The bed was comfy though 2 pillows would have been nice. The one cup each of tea, coffee with milk & sugar was a little mean but i suppose for the price i shouldn’t grumble 🤔
Overall a very pleasant stay. Would certainly come again

After reading some of the negative reviews, we were a little concerned, but were pleasantly surprised. Although the Camponile Hull is a very tired and dated, it is very good value for money, and as they say, you pay for what you get! It was good value, clean and comfortable although needs refurbishing. The reception staff were friendly and helpful, parking was free and relatively secure. If we need a budget hotel, we would return.

Good value, free car park, exterior poor, rooms near road very noisy

Despite looking like a shabby American motel there was plenty of free parking, the staff were lovely and helpful, my room was clean and smelt fresh, there were tea and coffee facilities, and plenty of immediate hot water. The beds weren't great, obviously very cheap mattresses used. For a 2 star hotel the facilities were good.
3.4
great value for money in the town centre with free and ample parking

👍👍 EXCELLENT HOTEL 👍👍 GREAT RECEPTION, FRIENDLY HELPFUL STAFF 👍👍 ROOMS WHERE IN A SEPARATE BUILDING,.. ROOMS WHERE CLEAN, TIDY AND EVERYTHING WORKED 👍👍 THE HOTEL ON IT'S OWN SECURE GROUNDS 👍👍 SAFE PARKING, CAMERAS EVERYWHERE 👍👍 CAN HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL AND WOULD CERTAINLY USE AGAIN 👍👍

Very good and clean lot better then the last time i came
3.4
A little run down exterior, but clean, maintained room with good basic facilitaties. The staff were helpful and friendly, and cared about their work. We felt safe leaving cars in the parking. Clear work is in progress to improve facilities. Excellent for the price paid.

I didn’t like I wasn’t booked in
3.4
room comfortable cheap so what would expect
3.4
For the price then room was fine if not a little dated only issue was some idiot smoking in one of rooms setting fire alarm off this was of course not the hotels fault did make for an early start to the day
3.4
Very loud due to closeness to traffic so didn't get much sleep. Room was dated and dusty.
3.4
Good location, parking and check in.
Comfortable bed, great shower, wobbly toilet seat!
We went to the New Theatre which was only a 10 minute walk via The Hop and Vine micro pub!
Really good value, great stop over

One of the worst campaniles I’ve ever stayed in. Hotel is very dated I wouldn’t let my dog stay in it. Was in a Room on road side, I asked staff before I went to room was it quiet and assured me it was. I may as well slept outside to how loud it was with the traffic. Did not sleep at all.
3.4
Convenient location, good value overall

When I checked in they failed to notify me That the boiler for the property was not working meaning their was no hot water, I only found out the next morning when I went to use the shower meaning I had to have a cold shower. When I mentioned this to the reception staff he said no one had hot water and they were awaiting a Gas delivery for the boiler.
The beds are very uncomfortable and you can feel the springs in the mattress
