Nice hotel in a great location near the lighthouse and several excellent restaurants.

Absolutely a beautiful place to stay. Front desk was very friendly. Room was very nice and comfortable. Views were great.

Amazing! Very convenient to the pier area of the island.

We evacuated from hurricane Milton and were pleased to find a nice place to stay in a great location. It was across the street from the lighthouse and a scenic walk close to the water and historic district shops and restaurants. In spite of being extremely busy due to a full house with hurricane avoiders the staff was very pleasant. They also had the best coffee options including espresso. We were very happy with our stay!

I came from Florida to stay at this hotel because I was fleeing hurricane Milton. First of all, these are the NICEST people I have ever encountered at a hotel. The receptionist was amazing on the phone and shockingly when I arrived she called me by name eventhough I had only spoken on the phone with her 5 hours prior. She said she recognized my voice. The room was absolutely beautiful and comfortable and smelled wonderful. The shower wasn't the cleanest, had blonde hair on the shower walls and dust/dirt in the corners. I didn't feel it worth complaining about though. The other receptionist that was there the next day was super friendly as well, the room service lady was nice, and so was one named Flo that found and chased me down to return to me. I originally paid for a 3 night stay but didn't feel comfortable staying because of the suspected storm surges. The hotel was sooo accommodating and happily refunded my 2 nights because I was fleeing the storm. I will be coming back just to stay in the AMAZING room I was in and explore the beautiful area and experience the best service. I wish I had the names of the receptionists because they were just above and beyond southern hospitality! Ok. I'll stop talking now lol. I just want you all to know how AWESOME this place is and that I super recommend it!!!

Firstly, the staff is great!
When we first walked in we were very happy. The room had a lot of charm. However, the closer we looked the more its lack of cleanliness and outdated aspects started to become apparent. Also, unfortunately, the walls are paper thin and the beds aren't very comfortable. I really hate leaving this kind of review, because the people were so nice. My first recommendation would be a deep clean of the room, which probably would've made up for the noise and the beds.

Property is nestled in a very quiet and beautiful community. Great location as dining, shopping, shore side park w plenty of benches and a nice pier are all within walking distance. Covered parking a nice perk. Clayton was welcoming at check in and offered several dining suggestions (Barbara Jean’s was great!). Our room (209) was clean, spacious and the bed was comfy so we rested very well. Although there was plenty of counter space in the bedroom, the bathroom pedestal sink offered nowhere to place toiletries and there was no place to place soap/shampoo/etc in the walk in shower other than the floor (a minor issue for us). Continental breakfast was good. All staff we encountered were friendly. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back.

No dislikes. Felt like a much more expensive hotel - very classy. Nice area to walk around with water views, shopping and restaurants.

Pillows need to be replaced, at some point in history smoking was allowed and it still lingers throughout the building. Dated decor. Beds not comfortable.

Hotel was excellent. Stay was enjoyable except for the last night. Ladies across the hall from our room were in the hallway talking loudly and laughing after we had gone to sleep and woke us up. We called the desk to complain and they begin slamming doors. Was very disappointed that the clerk did not put a stop to this unruly behavior. They woke us up several times.

The room was very comfortable and the bed was terrific. The only problem was in the middle of the night we were awakened by a noise some sort of a very loud humming that came to a crescendo and then stopped which happened two more times. We did mention it at the front desk not sure what that noise was but that was the only irritating thing. The continental breakfast was very good great coffee different pastries, yogurt, cereal, a toaster with Bagels and different breads so it was very nice the pool looked amazing although we did not use it and the location was perfect as we were able to walk just a short distance to the Half Shell restaurant for dinner which was amazing and then over to the pier and back around the White House it was a great location

Always a clean and comfortable stay!

the hotel was very clean. loved my room. decorated very nice. the location was perfect. the only negative for me was the noise from the joining rooms. i don’t know if the walls and doors are too thin or not insulated well but i could hear the neighbors a lot. i could hear conversation and kids talking loudly and screaming and crying. i understand kids are loud but it was excessive and maybe something can be done about soundproofing better
4.4
Not what we expected, no parking on the grounds, no silverware, plastic glasses, no pots, pans or dishes....
When we told the desk clerk there was no parking spaces, he said you can park across the street at the welcome center!
4.4
Beautiful quiet area, close to shopping and dining.

Front Desk Staff was nice, cleaning staff was very helpful when we unexpectedly were locked out of our room! Hotel is a little dated, but charming. The water pressure was low and took forever to get warm water!

It was old but still acceptable

They were very friendly and made great suggestions for food places to eat. The covered parking was great and the location was great for walking distances to several places to shop, eat, and gas. Great Pier and local people were very friendly and helpful too.

We enjoyed our time at the hotel. It was quiet and clean. Would recommend.

Great location for a visit to the Island. Room was a good size and comfortable. Breakfast was a bit spartan but it was food. Convenient walking distance to the beach, restaurants and shops. Pool was nice although one ladder is broken so possibly dangerous. Parking is very tight.

Close to everything. Very friendly staff.

There was 1 or 2 park spaces we could not fit in on arrival. Manager and guy moved their cars for us. So nice. Service started out great. That night I was freezing, having trouble regulating my temperature and called down to ask for an extra blanket. The girl started to say they didn’t have any and said that “there are no house keepers tonight and we don’t keep blankets up front. They are kept in the back.” I barely slept that night. For a 300.00 night room one would expect at least the front desk staff to walk “back” and grab a blanket. Lazy. I had to grab the towels out of the bathroom and place over the spread. When that wasn’t enough my husband layed his half of the spread over me. How hard is it to get an extra blanket for someone?! The Continental breakfast was not diabetic friendly. Breads of all kinds, cereal, sugared up yogurt, fruit and oatmeal. Could at least have cottage cheese. I wish we could have given a better review but I’m getting tired of letting people who just don’t give a ship slide.

Excellent must visit again

We loved the location of this property and the friendly staff was a huge bonus! We will definitely be back.
4.4
it was close to the wedding reception and walkable to town and pier!

The Inn was an absolute treasure: perfect location, beachy decor, and reasonably priced. We loved the coffee machine, which made us feel like we were home with our Delonghi. Average continental breakfast but great breakfasts a stone’s throw away. We will return here again.
4.4
We kind disapointed with the hotel once the price matches with king and Prince. But great location, breakfast is regular,

We loved our stay at St Simons Inn by the Light House. It was walking distance to all the local attractions: Pier, park, Putt Putt, Water splash pad, restaurants, shops and beach! Will come back again soon!
4.4
Parking is sparse and tight. Continental breakfast very few choices. Coffee machine was excellent. They didnt clean the room once while we were there. Close to pier,
shopping, and dining.

Very cute!! Awesome location

Second stay here. Room had a few issues with fixtures and outlets. Two ceiling lights were hanging fron their holes and there were not enough outlets for today's modern conveniences. Also, after a day of walikg, shopping and dining, it would nice to have a comfortable chair or loveseat to sit in instead of a bed only. There is plenty of room for either.
4.4
Nice quiet hotel with an outdoor pool. Extra parking available across the street. Close to dining and shopping. The pier is a couple minutes walk away as well as the beach to lay out on.
4.4
Dirty, warped floors, no hot water
4.4
Hotel with individually decorated rooms. Ours was beautiful. Nice location. Very close to the lighthouse, pier, shopping and restaurants. Only complaint was it took about 5 min before the water got warm in the shower.
4.4
One of our favorite places to stay but the only thing is the beds need replacing. They are worn out and you roll to the middle.
4.4
Desk staff friendly and very helpful. Room was large and nice. I understand each room is decorated differently. If I had one suggestion for room 102 it would be to have an electric outlet at bath sink area.
