The hotel rooms were well thought
The food needs significant improvement, no realt taste. In room dining options were limited and hardly any salt.
They need to revamp what they offer in hot breakfast

We had a wonderful stay at FCC Angkor by Avani, a beautiful hotel conveniently located near the Royal Palace and a 15-minute drive from the Angkor Wat temple. The staff was kind and accommodating, and our rooms were peaceful and quiet.

FCC has long been a favorite place! The rooms and service are wonderful! The service is top tier - from chocolates at turn down to the little welcome gift of natural mosquito repellent to the reception desk always remembering your name- FCC was the highlight stay of our trip

This is was the best pick for a hotel in Siem Reap. The service was fantastic, the food is amazing, the rooms were beautiful, they always have a cold towel that smells amazing when is so hot. We did a dinner with the ballet, totally worth it if you want to experience Cambodia’s food and traditional dance. The gym was handy. The location was great, everything walking distance .We use the laundry service and we got our clothes back the same day. The buffet breakfast was very good. The staff has the best service attitude . I will definitely stay again in this hotel.

Great staff and service. They had to juggle a lot while we were there due to a big tour group taking over the facilities, yet, they tried their best to make us feel cared for. Super nice facilities too :)

Great location. Chill. Luxury hotel experience. Temples are amazing; Siem Reap is not, so much, so staying here means you are in a beautiful bubble of serenity.

This was the perfect hotel for our family. Good, safe food and water, absolutely top notch service. Great knowledgeable staff that listened to our goals and arranged personal tours. The hotel gives back to local youth groups and practices many eco friendly processes. Close to many popular areas but quite at night.

The hotel is well appointed and lots of thoughts have gone into the deco and arrangement. Staff were friendly and helpful - considering tourism is only gradually coming back. Both the bar and restaurant serve tasty food - with good service.

This is a boutique hotel with amazing and attentive service. The room is very clean and free of bugs. The food and drinks served while at a slightly premium price compared to local establishments are of excellent quality. Breakfast selection is wife. I would like to commend on one of the staff named Savom who had been very helpful during our visit.

My husband and I stayed here for two nights after a 5 day bike trip through the Mekong Delta. This was the right choice! Friendly staff, relaxing atmosphere and chill vibe. We barely ventured out of the hotel. We plan to return for a long weekend.

I really enjoyed staying at this property. It was quiet, serene, and perfect for my solo travel needs. The staff and management were extremely helpful and courteous. The room itself was exquisite and beautifully decorated with wonderful detail. I really enjoyed how cozy it was. Also, the restaurants served great food and the staff were so sweet and friendly. I would definitely stay here again!

Great small hotel, food and drinks were great. Very nice rooms. Spa opens in December 2019, but other places close by so not a big deal.

This is the 3rd time that we have stayed at the FCC Angkor and it never disappoints. From the reception to the staff, everything is always here to please the customer. One staff member, Pem who is there at night is outstanding. Looking forward for the renovations and the new FCC in 6 months time.

Nice hotel comfortably outside the madness of Pub Street while still having easy walking access to that whole area. Smallish pool in very nice garden setting. AC and WiFi were good. Restaurant/bar area was nice and morning breakfast options very good. Easy access to tuk tuk’s. Would stay here again

small room, expensive for what is offered...felt confined and claustrophobic, would not stay again but restaurant and bar was very good

The good first. The hotel is in a good location, the room spacious and the restaurant excellent. The bad. Housekeeping was sloppy (not refilling amenities, coffee, water and it was not as clean as it should be). We booked tuk tuk’s through the hotel, which we found out later ended up costing double!? We booked a guide to see temples and were assured of a great guide who spoke good English and had 10 years experience. He was absolutely awful. I gave up trying to understand his thick accent, monotone voice, boring dialogue about uninteresting topics. I learned more from my guide book after and listening to other guides as we went along. We were all bored stiff- including the guide. I’m not sure why a hotel would associate with such a bad guide knowing their guests will come back unhappy? However, we were not impressed with this hotels staff at all. We felt ripped off, they knew they were ripping us off and didn’t care. It didn’t help we were there for the water festival, which was extremely noisy (until 2-3 am for 3 nights with bass techno music blaring. Understandably, that was out of their control, but how they dealt with their guests concern was very unprofessional. No advance warning of the festival to give clients a chance to rebook in a quieter hotel, no apology- in fact ‘weren’t we lucky to get such a great view’. Everyone was really mad. Nope, not even a free drink, let alone a free night comp. For a fairly high end hotel it was a HUGE disappointment.

The FCC was a fantastic place to stay, the swimming pool is beautiful and great for after temples. You can walk into town but is in a quiet area away from the noise and bustle. It could have been slightly cleaner but overall it was cleaned to a good standard. Service was fantastic and the staff were always on hand to help us organise transport and anything we needed.

Perfect choice for those who prefer somewhere with some history and character (former Governors residence then foreign correspondents club). Excellent rooms and lovely garden/pool area. Perfectly located short tuk-tuk ride from old town. Staff superb
