Lovely staff and fabulous food at this magnificent castle with spectacular views over the vines. The staff could not have been more friendly or knowledgeable both at reception and in the restaurant. The food was lovely and well priced. The best cheese platter we have ever had for the price!! A mini-bar would have been handy. The bathtub had a hand-held shower mechanism and no shower screen which wasn’t ideal. We had a lovely stay!

Wow what an idyllic place to stay set among the vineyards with its own winery and tasting room. The rooms were very nice. The surrounding view is amazing. The restaurant is fantastic. The dinner service and meal was excellent. A definite must if you are staying there.

We had a wonderful time at this place. The room was not so spacious but it had a roof top terrace with 360 view of the area. Ask for that room. Good size swimming pool with poolside seats and table was available all evening for small meal and drink. Generous offering of plates, wine glasses, forks, and knives for a small bite after dinner. Parking space very generous. My room was equipped with pod coffee machine. My room was very clean and the bedding was perfect for a comfortable night. The whole place is built on stones and walls are made of solid stones. There cannot be a noise from the other rooms. Perfect for relaxing night. You can have your coffee at the roof top that can be an experience of a lifetime. Lots of stars can be seen after dark.

This was quite an experience. A century old, 11 room Chateau nested amongst many vineyards. They have wine tasting and tour of their cellar available at a cost. The staff and service were impeccable. Easy self parking available. A small quint village near by to visit. Pet friendly, we had our 2 small Yorkies with us.

Amazing hospitality and kind staff! Sebastian was wonderful and so were the rest of the staff in making our stay perfect. The chef in the restaurant was incredibly talented and accommodating to our dietary needs and on par with some Michelin rated restaurants. Don’t miss this place!

Our stay in the Chateau Fine Roches was amazing. To be able to stay so comfortably in such an "ancient" property is truly special. The restaurant was a culinary experience! Our dinners here were so memorable. The attention to detail of the wait staff was excellent and only surpassed by the skill of the chefs in the kitchen. Our only complaint was that the property was difficult to reach without a car. We did not have one and felt disconnected from the town of Chateauneuf Du Pape and Avignon. During the day, the walk to town is enjoyable. At night not so much...Taxi service around CDP is nearly impossible due to the small size of the village. Taxis must come from Avignon, which is 15-20 minutes away.

The property resembled a medieval castle. It was simply breathtaking. Everything was perfect except the air conditioning system. There was no ac in the reception area and the ac in the room did not cool. It was over 90F.

Fantastic stay! A beautiful hotel with stunning views and the staff were wonderful. All the reception staff could not have done any more to make our stay fabulous. The speed of serving drinks was sometimes a little relaxed, but we were in the South of France so we were relaxed about it too and the staff were so friendly that it made up for any minor slowness. It was only a 20 minute stroll into town through the vineyards or a very short taxi ride away in the evening. I can’t recommend this place highly enough.

First time stay here and won’t be our last. Superb location, beautiful castle and easy to get to. Service was seamless, safety conscious and very friendly. Food was extremely good and the wine list needs a day to read! Incredible wines available along with great value local wine.

I picked this hotel as I wanted a special experience for my birthday which was the second night there, and I was not disappointed. My husband & I come from Australia and we don’t have the old grand architecture like in Europe, so to stay in a “Castle” also overlooking vineyards was very special for me. The staff were so friendly and helpfull and the food & wine were top notch!

Just amazing service!! We felt quite agitated after being involved in a car accident that wasn't our fault, and needed to drive with a bad rental car for 6hours to reach the hotel. The receptionist was amazing! His way of being and interacting with us was something very special and he made us relax immediately. He could read the situation so well!! We were also upgraded immediately and despite having booked a beautiful room we got even bigger room with a private terasse. We dined in the hotel restaurant and the service was extremely polite. Overall, we feel that we have never had such a good service than in this particular hotel. Five stars from us!
