Location. Location was excellent

The property was hard to find. Because of a narrow street and sharp turn, it was almost impossible to drive to. The parking was nonexistent. The breakfast was poor. Our first room was so small, it was impossible to fully open our suitcase. The second room, which we got by complaining about the first room, was bigger but noisy.

Good solid hotel with a nice room

Staff was very approachable and patient. I couldn't find my blankets but that might have been my own fault.

Único ponto positivo foi a localização central, para andar a pé. Mas para chegar de carro é horrível!!! A entrada é por uma viela minúscula e quase entalamos a van para virar no final dela. Levamos uns 20 minutos manobrando e rezando. Foi apavorante. No check-in, o primeiro recepcionista foi meio rude e não muito prestativo. Após descarregar as malas tivemos que tirar a van e procurar estacionamento fora das muralhas. O quarto não era no edifício principal do hotel mas sim em outra ruazinha mais adiante. Ficamos no andar de cima e não tinha elevador. Quarto pequeno, bem simples. O colchão não tinha mais que 8cm. A mesinha de cabeceira tombou pois o pé estava quebrado. O único ponto de tomadas no quarto ficava longe da cama. O banheiro era simples e mal conservado, com azulejos quebrados e exaustor barulhento. O Hotel foi uma decepção, muito caro pelo que oferece. Não merece 3 estrelas.

The room was fine. Do not drink the water from the tap, because apparently, it's not drinkable due to the chemicals they use to treat it. They only gave us a small bottle of water, which is included on the first night only.

Comfortable hotel not far from the centre of Evora. We stayed in a room around the corner from the main hotel. Room was a good size for a couple and enough space for toddler to run around. Breakfast was adequate. Staff friendly and helpful. Location good. In the walled city and not far from the main square with restaurants and shops.

The staff are really first class, Very friendly and helpful. Facilities very good and very nice, central location.

Great location the whole city of Évora is amazing must do when in Portugal.

Nice hotel with friendly staff. Good location near the sights. Quiet at night. The breakfast box was tasty.

Two single beds... I was expecting a double bed. Otherwise, it was very convenient to all the sights and restaurants. Lunch at Taska Fina was fantastic!

Well, the hotel at first sight was pretty fine. Well located, very close to Giraldo square. That’s all! Cause the stay there was quite bad...electricity went away 2 out of the 3 nights we were there. My guess is some short circuit. They just came and turned the switches in the power box of the building back on again. They really should check the cause of such but seemed totally uninterested. No explanations or apologies. Same with the door to the building next door (which they also own and have more rooms), every single afternoon my card didn’t work and I had to go to the reception to activate it again for some weird reason. Once again, no further explanations. And the worst of all, the shower in the bedroom was awful! You could just get some volume of water going on if you increased the cold water flow. The hot water was stuck or just fixed to be the minimum possible, meaning either a “nice” cold shower or a miserable but a little warmer shower!! I left that comment when I checked out in the reception, but the girl there just didn’t react. No apologies, no nothing!

Conveniently located in the city center. Nearby to many shops and restaurants. Small rooms though.

Great stay in Evora! hotel was easy to find and the staff directed us to parking (paid but only 8EU for 24 hrs) a block away. Would definitely stay here again!

Very nice, but cramped. Bed was wayyyy to big for the room so there was really no room at all to move around. That being said, the rest was excellent. Friendly, helpful staff and very convenient location. Streets are really narrow and parking isn’t easy but we found a lot not too far away for 13 euros over night. Loved the town!

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, although there were some issues with the room. Plugging in my phone to recharge caused a circuit breaker to trip and they had to hunt around to find it. Later that evening it happened again as I was reading in bed and then power came back a few minutes later. I got the impression this was a common occurrence. On the second day they forgot to leave me towels after cleaning the room, and there was very limited hot water. It's a basic place with some issues but if you can roll with it, definitely a good bargain for something so central.

Room was given to me without towels that means the room wasnt prepared. Small bed for single person.

Very difficult to find, must walk 120 meters from street park( if lucky) to lobby. We had NO hot water for shower, barely luckewarm. Not possible to heat bathroom either as heatpump is facing away from it, ceramic floors☃️ Comfortable bed, but NO extra pillows or blankets. Good continental breakfast. Very central location.front desk staff ok.

I stayed in two Stay Hotels during my travels in Portugal. The staff in this one told me that this hotel has only been a Stay Hotel for a year and it still needed some work to upgrade. This was obvious in the room itself, which although Id asked for a non-smoking room smelled like smoke and in which the carpet and furniture was not up to the Stay standards I experienced at their Trindade hotel in Porto. Nonetheless, the hotel is really well located and the perfect spot for an home base to see Evora. They staff were able to answer my questions about what to see and do and to make recommendations on where to find vegetarian food in this very small town. My one complaint about Stay is that for the price I paid, I would have thought that my breakfast would be included, but it was not and what was offered did not in any way justify the 7 Euros they wanted me to pay.

Evora is not a particularly large place but this hotel, tucked down the back of a street, is in a prime location. Friendly staff with basic but comfortable rooms. Would recommend for a short stay.
