Hotel is dirty. The walls in the room have never been cleaned. In the lobby when we checked in there was water pouring out of a light fixture in the ceiling. Bed wasn't uncomfortable. Breakfast was ok.

Was supposed to be an 8.2 room and non smoking. There was a definite smoke smell
To the room. Hotel under renovations which was not mentioned on the website. No phone in room, not sure if it wasn’t done yet or what. Answered email about how was our check in but never got response

I love that place

Hotel is undergoing renovations but the outside also looks terrible. I actually wondered if it was operational. Construction supplies outside and in lobby. Workers are also using the only elevator. My room was finished but still not great. Very nice staff at front desk.

The property was in the middle of upgrading the rooms. My upgraged room was nice and clean. Common areas still needed work but it is in progress.

They should close

I ask for a different room and they could not accommodate me even though they were not full.

Very noisy and when I mentioned it to the front desk she offered me a free snack from the snack closet!

This property is very tired and in the beginning stages of what appears to be a complete remodel. The entire lobby area was full of remodeling items. The carpeting in the hallways was extremely stained. The shower curtain rod in our room was literally hanging by two loose screws. I will say the air conditioner in our room was fantastic. I believe once the remodeling is completed, this will probably be a good place to stay when passing through Columbia.

The room was clean and comfortable, however the hotel was going through some major updates and by the condition of the room it was needed. Very nice staff and comfortable stay for passing through. Updates should be nice when completed.

They are in the middle of a renovation. We were not told that ahead of time. The sound of saws and drills made staying in the room for any extended period of time unpleasant. There was a grandmother who attended to the breakfast area who was particularly grumpy and unfriendly. The breakfast itself was the same food for 5 days in a row ... and not good. Because of the renovation, a discount should have been given. Instead, the price went UP over the weekend. We will not be back.

When I checked in I was asking why it was not disclosed that the property was under construction? The front desk person told me well, it's not going to bother you because you will be sleeping! The lobby was piled ceiling high with mattresses and shipping boxes from China. There were a big gaping hole in the roof of the carport ... I'm quite literally surprised that they were allowed to be open. First night (Friday) they were drilling at 9:21PM on the floor under where I stayed. They did come in my room during my stay but did not make the beds or change the towels so I am not sure what they did there. Breakfast was from 6-9AM EVEN on a weekend, i came down a little bit after 9 AM on Sunday and the drinkbar was locked and so was the are where they kept yogurt. The lunchroom was also full of big boxes with Chinese writing on them piled up around the walls in the eating area. It was a horrible experience and I will never stay there again. I was not the only Mizzou mom/parent who stayed there that weekend and we all had the same experience.

Ice machine didn’t work. Bathroom floor felt sticky. No place to hang clothes.

The place was updated and in the middle of a renovation. The one thing I didn't like was the old toilet. Everything else was up dated and this was missing a nut and it moved. I'm disabled and that was not good. But it was nice otherwise.

The hotel was under construction while we were there. Lots of workers going in and out and banging around on the 4th floor. We stayed on the 3rd floor. I'm sure it'll be a nice place once all the construction is done.

The room we got was NOT the room advertised in the photo when we booked. The beds were horrible and it was very loud.

It was run down, not clean and I could feel every spring in the mattress. I’ve had worse experiences but I definitely wouldn’t call this good.

Quick, easy check-in by friendly staff. The room was clean and comfortable.

Per hotels.com supposed to be smoking room. Upon check in I was informed there are no smoking rooms. Bathtub was NOT clean lots of hair left behind. There were also cockroaches crawling on the floor in the bathroom.

This used to be a very nice hotel, but it is becoming run down and in disrepair. Parts of the walls in the room were patched, but not repainted. The doors were very tattered. The paint job in the bathroom was sloppy with paint all over the door trim. Breakfast was fair, but the hours were short from 6-9 (used to be 6-9:30$ and they started tearing down at 9 am despite people still eating. That was not very cordial.

The area felt unsafe.

Could walk to the city park and around the large cemetery.
Lots of parking
Quiet and pleasant facility
Somewhat difficult to reach location because of round-a-bouts and odd newish traffic patterns, but these can be mastered in the daylight when one can see the patterns.
Convenient to the west side of town and mall unlike the places to stay on the far east side of town.
Did not check out the pool.

The girl that checked us in has been there the last couple of times in the evening was great each time

Dirty, unprofessional. Stains and bugs across hotel.

We booked this hotel on a cross country trip based on location and 8.0 rating on Expedia. Check-in was fine but not very friendly or welcoming, but everything was ready for us upon arrival. Nothing appeared to be overly clean. Hallways were dirty and a looked like the hadn’t been swept or mopped in some time. Our room was on the interstate side and I was extremely noisy throughout our stay. I think the rating should be closer to 6.5.

Room was in horrible condition. Stains, ripped carpet, broken sink, stained towels.

Our room was filthy and had ants crawling in the bathroom. We brought it to the attention of the staff but we’re told that they couldn’t do anything for us because we booked through Hotels.com. My wife tried to call yesterday, after we returned home, and was basically told that hotels.com couldn’t do anything for us. Due to the high demand for rooms in Columbia, MO this past weekend we paid over $350 for this room and basically wasted it.

The hotel needs serious attention from the management: the carpet on the stairs is dirty with big stains and is worn out. Rooms have ants and possibly bed bugs. I have taken photos of the carpet and of ants, as well as photos of myself showing bug bites that I saw a couple of hours ago. That is terrible!
The front desk staff are nice and try to help, but the problem is more than they can handle.

Every day after eating shoes were sticky from dirty floors. Breakfast tables not clean and had to clean before sitting down. Servers did not speak English so had to get front desk person to translate.

Our door drug on the carpet so much, It was hard to open or close, and the room looked like it was under construction. Joint compound unfinished; needed painting.
