I booked a club floor room and the hotel gave me a standard room. The rooms are not 5 star. There is no airport transfer in the night. The breakfast was causing stomach problems for all participants..

Vegas style resort, less than 10 years old, but starting to show wear. Staff were wonderful, but some things took longer to arrive than you would hope. Not much to do if you don’t gamble. Reign was good food, and food court in complex.

This is a wonderful place to stay for an overnight or extended stay, business or pleasure. Walkable dining and casino. Safe. My only wish would be an update of the fitness facility. Tired equipment and treadmills did not work.

The property was clean. The staff are not willing to assist/go that little bit out of their way in terms of room service. No porter assisted on arrival. The breakfast at Reign restaurant was terrible. Lack of qualified waiter. Bread given as toast with extra well done eggs when Sunny Side soft were requested. No mushrooms, substituted with bake-beans :-( A lot more and they were not even busy at the time. Terrible service. Requested manager to no avail.

What a bummer paid for a 5 star hotel and got a room over a jackhammer. They are doing major renovations and the place is super loud. We literally had room right over the area they are working on and the hammering started early. Restaurant is closed and they send you to a casino for breakfast.. at least you can get wine for breakfast. Oh and the water In Tub was green and you can’t see through it. Nicely mentioned these issues at check out and the only response was sorry. Still charged the full price Sheets are awesome and a great shower

The property had a nice view during breakfast of the pool area. But overall the property was a disaster for the price. The heater for the room was set at one temperature couldn’t control it so it was extremely hot in the room. Attempted to take a shower there was no hot water. Called the front desk and there was no concern about that, staff was incompetent

There were three or four patrons in the lobby bar that were basically “screaming “ for two hours nonstop. A number of other patrons left in disgust. The staff never said a word. That alone , is enough for me not to return. There are a number of decent choices in Sandton. Also, the shuttle stops running at 6 pm. I have stayed Ed there several times in the past , it “no mad”

Breakfast was excellent. Staff was friendly and the facilities were beautiful. Hotel is also connected to the casino which made going to the restaurants very easy. COVID protocols were followed, everyone wore a mask at all times and everyone coming into the hotel was screened. Would come back again and recommend to family/friends.

Was accommodated with an early check-in after a long haul, which was greatly appreciated. Safe in room didn’t work due to low batteries. Hot water in shower wasn’t consistent, so got unexpected bursts of cold water (invigorating!). Floor lamp wasn’t plugged in, nor was there an available plug point for it anyway unless I wanted to drag it across the room. Bed was super comfy. Breakfast was good. Restaurant service overall was excellent, but someone should tell the hostesses to get off their cell phone chats to be more present to the customer (happened at dinner and breakfast).

I understand the curfew limited things but communication on the limits could have been better. Bar and restaurant staff took way to long to acknowledge/take order despite nearly 1:1 ratio of staff v customer. Hotel basics: if you book a double bed, you want a double beds. I love my friend but we don’t sleep together. Taking an hour to sort that out after returning downstairs 3x so housekeeping could exchange our keys was beyond frustrating. The fact this delayed us after curfew so we couldn’t get a decent dinner was salt in the wound. Shower also had extreme temp changes despite not moving the setting/dial. Again, I get curfew limitations but the majority of these issues were basic hotel expectations.

The experience was not good, called room service and placed an order it never came was told to be patient..it is the next day and we still never received the order...When making the booking the booking said two double beds however we got a room with 2single beds pushed together and a sleeper couch..very disappointed with the service
