Good selection if you to stay on the area. Staff is attentive, breakfast is nice. Standard room is small but has everything you need

The biggest disappointment was the language barrier. Only few of day staff were able to speak english. None of the night shift staff were able to speak english. We had water leak in one of our rooms at 3 am, no one was able to understand and help. One of the staff was even giving us hard time and got so aggressive. Breakfast is very simple, not many choices, no fruits and nuts.

Location, location & location.

Was convenient for us to visit the family.
The walkway in the front needs attention.
The wallpaper in the room needs a tender touch.
A three-sided box faced with the same wallpaper, to hide the piping and valves under the sink would be nice!
Overall, good experience, will go back...

The staff is very kind, but they speak minimal English. The description of the hotel is NOT correct. **There is no airport shuttle.** **This AC does NOT work.** The "business center" is an old PC connected to a printer that works some of the time. There is a small conference room. The AC is centrally controlled and was turned to heat even though it was hot when we arrived. We turned on what we thought was AC and left the room for it to cool. It was like an oven when we returned. They explained to us the turning on the "AC" in October meant that heat would come out since they turn off the AC from a hotel-wide control center and have only heat in October. We ended up changing rooms to one with larger windows to let some air in. There are no ceiling fans as stated in the hotel amenities. The neighborhood is ok. The breakfast is good. As long as you are ok with no AC, no actual business center (as in, I could not even have access to three-hole puncher!), no airport shuttle, no ceiling fans, it's not bad to save money if you have to stay in Ankara.

Hotel is in a very good location with many cafes, restaurants and people around. The vibe was very nice. The hotel itself was average. It is a bit dated. Breakfast was average.

I chose this hotel primarily for its location, and proximity to where I needed to be for an evening engagement, and I was in no way disappointed. It's a busy area, so valet parking proved to be a good option, and the lobby was unexpectedly small but nevertheless smart and welcoming. I was advised on arrival that my room wasn't ready (as the previous guest had delayed her checkout) but when the receptionist realised that I did not require a smoking room, he immediately upgraded me to a Junior Suite! This was spacious, clean, and incredibly comfortable, and exceeded my expectations.
I must confess that breakfast was a little disappointing ... although I took my place in the breakfast room at least half an hour before service finished, too many of the hot options had been depleted and not replenished, and the ones I did manage to secure were only warm (rather than hot). But perhaps I'm just too picky and over-critical?
Overall it was an excellent overnight stay, and I would not hesitate to make a return visit.

We stayed here for 9 days. Location is really good, room is clean and relatively quiet. Hotel staff are average (the night shift is great though).
Wired Internet is terrible and there are two wireless networks, one is extremely bad, but the other is ok. If you stay here, try to connect to the turk cell one, the other ones are bad.
The worst part is the breakfast. It is very simple and the soup is terrible. One morning, it had gone bad and it was smelling rotten.

I had my WORST hotel experience at Ramada Ankara. The check-in was very problematic due to the incompetent & rude staff member, Nihat, mishandling our room request in the first place. And, then he refused to enter my Wyndham-Ramada membership number upon check-in. The toilet in the room we checked in (#402) did not flush at all & the shower did not drain. An extremely unpleasant experience after a long trip from the USA all the way to Ankara. The WiFi connection does not work. The lady in the Breakfast Cafe nearly made us beg for Turkish tea in a traditional tea glass. The cleaning lady forgot to leave soap and other material & we had ask for them. Nihat at the reception wanted to charge us for water that the hotel was responsible for leaving in our room earlier during the day.
The worst thing about this hotel is the very rude, arrogant & incompetent staff, who make you feel horrible about your stay in this hotel. I am a world traveler & I have stayed in numerous hotels with different star levels. Ramada Hotel Ankara is the WORST hotel experience I have ever had.
Hotels.com: Please do me and your valued customers a big favor: Take this hotel off your list & do NOT even offer it as an alternative place to stay in Ankara. I wanted to leave this hotel after my first night of stay there, but I had already paid for 4 days of stay. I wish I could request my reimbursement of the hotel charges for Ramada Ankara. I am absolutely frustrated with this hotel & its staff.

Would not recommend the hotel, although the location and staff very good, but the room was very small. I stayed at their suite which was nothing like you expect from a suite. The bed and shower where very small, and i had hard time. i was suppose to stay their for a week and had to cancel the rest of the stay.

The room rate was very good value with a free buffet breakfast that has plenty on offer and of good quality. Room was clean and although not overly large was perfectly adequate with tea/coffee, safe & iron available. Hotel is very close to plenty of restaurants & shops.
One downside, there is no car park although this did not prove to be a problem as the helpful hotel staff will park the car for you.
Will stay on our next trip to Ankara.

The staff were amazing and went out of their way to be helpful. Breakfast lovely. Meal prices reasonable.

The only thing I was concerned about was the tiny size of the room we were given with a balcony same size as the room. Even though I booked anexecutive room, we were not given one of those rooms.

This is a nice, modern hotel in an upper-class neighborhood of Ankara. However, probably it is not the best hotel that one can get for the money.
