I booked the hotel for 1 night before getting there and we stayed 3 nights total! What can l say, it was perfect for us! We love the quietness, the staff/service and pool

They have tried to do some renovations to improve the hotel, unfortunately, they are not very good. Lots of noise from the hallway in the morning, not very sound proof. TV had issues connecting.

I was hiking in Waterton Park and I liked the convenience of it being on the highway to the park. It was quiet, the parking was excellent, and the staff were very helpful. The restaurant staff were very accommodating too.

I waited at the front desk for 20 minutes before someone would check me in

It was good

TV wasn’t working. Staff had to reset it. A/C was difficult to program. Ended unplugging from the wall. Huge hotel but nearly no one there and yet it ‘appeared’ the only available room was a 2 bath suite at a slightly pricier rate. Had to wait till someone showed up at lobby reception to check us in. Hmmmm.

Very slow check in. Booked online. Do they not have all my info from the booking that they have to re type again?
And mold in shower. Easy clean and fix

Clean and neutral upgrades were nice. Beds were comfortable. Some damage to bathroom sink. Bathtub a bit slippery so put down a towel while showering. Convenient to Waterton. Groceries and dining options nearby. Staff were pleasant.

Tried this place out for a long weekend in Waterton. Room was clean, beds comfortable. Ice machine was behind front desk. Didnt use the restaurant but would have been very convenient. We hsd read reviews about the cold pool-should have listened. It was extremely cold, unable to enjoy with our children. Hot tub was broken. Pool area itself was great and would have so much potential if the pool was heated! For our family, kiddos love to swim, but would hesitate coming back here because of the cold pool

The place is good. My only concern is that the pool lights had fallen out of their place and were hangin in the pool. Besides being a safety hazard this could also be an electical hazard. It needs to be addressed immediately.

It was easy to find! When we enter of course the old smell of the building. Staff were nice, the location is quiet. In the room when the washroom faucet was opened at the other room beside, you will heard it and so loud if you are sleeping and someone open a faucet at the next room definitely you will be awake. Our bed is okay but the floor the carpet was not vacuum there were chips around the floor, even the washroom was not properly clean there were lots of hair specially at the back of the door, and top of the toilet cover is dusty and have hairs too. But anyways we enjoy the stay and may be its just minor things that we noticed but it can be easily to improve and make it better someday!

This hotel is also a lounge and a casino. The rooms were clean and comfortable, but the hotel tried to bill me three times the price of the first room for our second room, saying we booked it later. we reserved both rooms at the same time and challenged them, and they finally reduced the rate to what my Expedia reservation stated. Wont stay here again.

I have stayed at many hotels- including another in Pincher Creek. This was without a doubt the worst front desk experience I have ever had. Lets start with checkin: there was none of the courtesy or information one usually gets. No “ you can find the wifi password here, our restaurant hours are this, our pool hours are this, ect. “. Just nothing. We did find the pool - only to discover you need to get a key at the front desk to open it. So off we go to get a key. Then once at the pool find out theres no towels- you need to get them at the front desk. Suggestion- maybe when someone is getting the key tell them and offer towels if needed. The towels by the way are slightly larger than a hand towel. Then there’s the advertised hot tub- good sized, lots of jets- but no way to turn them on. Back to the front desk to report and are told “we dont turn the jets on unless a maintenance person is here because it makes it cold”. What????? So- not a hot tub, just a hot bath. The room: the darkest , dingiest I can imagine. One small lamp in between both beds is only light . The toilet would only flush if you hold the handle down for 8 seconds. In fairness there are much nicer rooms- we saw them being cleaned and hotel had vacancy so not sure if it’s because we booked through Expedia? The worst though- checkout. I told him (same guy throughout all of this)-he never asked how our stay was- and he clearly couldn’t have cared less. Said not a word. My advice: spend more and stay at Ramada

Well rounded hotel. Front desk could be more helpful. You have to ask for pool keys and pool towels.

I feel like my main complaint is that the hotel was just not well decorated and dated looking. There was one accent wall in dark grey. Most of the room was decorated in white. and the dark grey did not help. It felt like you were staying in a hospital room instead of a hotel. It was a hospital room with more comfortable beds.

Very clean. Staff was very nice.

Cold water tap did not work. There were socks found in the room upon arrival.

Nice sizeable room, comfortable beds. I thought I’d booked a room with breakfast included but apparently not so that was disappointing. I called ahead to see if pool/hot tub were functioning. Was told pool was but not hot tub. But hot tub was - only not very hot with limited jets working. One shower at pool didn’t work and there were no pool towels available. Desk clerk said they’d “given out 40 that day.” On a long weekend you’d think they’d expect that. On checking in clerk did not say one piece of information - restaurant hours, pool info and that you needed a key to access it, wifi…nothing. Nice room but everything else was below average.

My husband and I always stay at this hotel, when we are wanting to spend time in Waterton and area.
This has the first time we had a couple of areas that had been missed when cleaned. But as soon as I brought it to the front desk’s attention, they sincerely apologized, gave vouchers for free breakfasts, and promptly had the room re-cleaned .
All persons who work at the hotel,(front desk/restaurant/lounge etc.) are very friendly and accommodating. Food is good, and pool area very nice.
Recommend this hotel.
We booked again in August to do a few things in town, and go to Lundbreck Falls that is only 25km NW of the town. Another beautiful area.

Restaurant was not open all the time.

Stay was not worth it!
There was no room service. Quality of coffee, soaps etc was inferior
There was no maintenance or support to turn on hot tub despite calling front desk few times. Swimming pool was dirty. We stepped out the moment we noticed it had dead flies, hair, couple of spits and dirt
We were unable to swim the following day due to filthy conditions of the pool, the primary reason behind making a reservation here
If one would be looking to make reservation in anticipation to take joy in the pool, based on the above experience it cannot so be suggested. We would never be coming back to Heritage Inn in Pincher Creek considering there would be no quality service provided when asked for, or any at all
The stay at Heritage Inn was much to the disappointing!

Washroom was not cleaned properly when checked in.
Bed sheet was dirty even after room service.

Hotel restaurant was not open for evening meals. Room AC did not work properly. TV speakers did not work. No vending machines available. Also had to leave a damage deposit overtop of room rate.

Wind was very very strong....

Overall a good hotel option, the main complaint is the temperature of the pool and hot tub as that is why we chose this hotel. The pool is freezing and the kids and ourselves could not swim in it, and the hot tub was too hot to go in longer than a minute. The room was good and walking next door to get stone fired pizza was great!
