This hotel is good where it counts. The place looks a bit shabby but it was clean, the beds were comfortable, towels were large and fluffy, the duvet was very nice and comfortable and it was fairly quiet. The pool was pretty cold, and the hot tub was closed. But great for a night.

Pool was too cold and hot tub was not working. After walking all day we were really tired and needed the hot tub.

It's an older hotel with worn carpets. The room was very dark even with the curtains open. Everything was closed at 9 pm, even the lounge.

We checked in a bit early and the room was not fully cleaned; the staff told us to leave our bags in the room and it would finish getting cleaned. We went to a wedding and came home at 11pm to the beds not made. We had a 3 year old and at 11 not having the beds made or even sheets for the second bed was so inconvienenxt

Room was dark; lighting insufficient. Bathroom fan did not work.. Wall thermostat was not connected to air conditioning unit; had to adjust manually. Interior window area was dirty.

We where not inpressed at all with this place. Ist they overcharged the room. Expidea gave me the rate and on checkin they upped it and the front end girl said she fix it for morning. The guy in the morning said nope thats the rate and wouldn't let me see a manager.
Also the hotel lounge closed at 9 on the weekend, after a long day it be nice to sit and have a few drinks.

It’s a quiet and safe place to stay. Easy parking.

Staff were friendly and accommodating. Premium king room was clean and comfortable. A long walk to get to, however, and rather dark. Had to request facecloths and couldn’t get the heat to work on a chilly rainy night. Turned out to be a non-issue. The included breakfast was very good, though. Full hot plated breakfast. Staff in the lounge and restaurant were A .

Older hotel. Our room smelled like old cigarette smoke. Hot tub was out of order. Staff were nice and breakfast was good.

The Centennial is a great place to stay. The location is fantastic, there are so many places that you can easily walk to from this hotel. The pool was great and the restaurant had great service and food. The only thing I would have changed would be the cleanliness of the room. The bathroom had mildew buildup and some surfaces didn’t appear to be wiped down. This would not deter me from staying here again, but it is something that can be improved.

The only positive to this property is the staff. They were friendly and kind. Serving staff in the restaurant, and the 3 people I dealt with behind front desk. BUT everything else about this property is gross. Filthy rooms, carpets feel wet and have stains everywhere. Our room smelled like a root cellar from a house built in the 40s. Shower and tub were broken and by broken i mean nipples ripped off in the shower and when trying to run the bath for my son the shower button was broken and blasted me in the face hard. I think I have a concussion. I made my son wear shoes for the duration of our stay because I'm not sure what was happening there, but I just dont have time for a foot fungus right now. Coffee was actually decent but only 1 pack of coffee mate and one sugar for the pot. There was a serious humidity problem and the beds felt wet....oh and we were told the hot tub was down the hall...it sure was, and it was full of rocks and algae and no water. Paint peeling. Overlook hotel feeling without the class and well...no cool ghosts either. The food in the restaurant was good, but when trying to use the ladies rest room there was a sign on the door saying "out of order, please use lobby". When i got to the lobby, the ladies restroom said "out of order". SO if you dont have a room there, I guess you are using the parking lot ladies! All in all its a big thumbs down.

We had never stayed anywhere with a “good” rating but thought we would give the Heritage Inn a try. The approach to a very dated looking property through a crumbling parking lot had us on guard but the friendly greeting and fast processing at check in buoyed our hopes for a good stay. Our key cards did not work thus, with anticipation building, we gained entry with the new cards to discover a room that appeared to be, you know…good. The smell that greeted me announced “this room is clean but could tell a few stories”. I’m ok with that. I am not, as my wife self-identifies, a hotel snob. A clean, safe, quiet room makes me happy. A great sleep on a good mattress followed by a tasty free breakfast for two the next morning made me happier.

The room was clean and free breakfast delicious. However, the pool was mediocre at best and the hot tub was out of order and needed a deep cleaning. Also, our shower head needed replacing. Overall, it was worth maybe $150 per night, not the $220 that we paid.

Good hotel for one night, sucks that most of the rooms point to the pool. Also, this property is not wheelchair accessible.

Very shabby, there was a musty smell in the room. One of the reasons we booked this property was for the hot tub. Of course, when we arrived it was not in operation and looked like it had not been for quite sometime.

Our stay was a great, our room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Our room window looked in on the indoor pool and it looked so inviting, I went for a swim. We did get coupons for breakfast. Choice of eggs, bacon, hash browns, toast OR oatmeal and fruit. There were some details that made it less than perfect: a gaping hole in the bathroom counter that was suppose to hold tissue, towels were a bit skimpy, but nothing that dampened our stay. All the people were great! Dar in the restaurant and Dillon at the desk.

Only one coffee packet and sugar in the room. Hair in the tub.

Perfect place to stay while attending a family gathering

This hotel needs serious renovation. The bathrooms, carpet, room furniture needs updating. The hot tub was not working and had green growth in the bottom. The room was cold and the fan / temperature would not turn down sufficiently. We did not sleep well and canceled a second night at this hotel on our return journey. Other hotels in High River in same price range are in much better condition. I truly recommend staying elsewhere.

Room was clean, service was good.

The hotel was nice and clean. Bathroom was outdated but worked well overall for our family. The pool was freezing and hot tub was broken when we were there and filled with rocks?? Not the hotels fault but the restaurant ran out of basic items like milk and fruit. The staff were WONDERFUL. So helpful and lovely to deal with.
Despite these issues I would stay here again in a heartbeat. It was a nice place to stay overall and reasonably priced. Not too far to go to Calgary for the day.

This hotel is in major need of updating. The carpet is stained, walls are dirty, bathtub in our suite wouldn’t drain (and when we commented on this at check out, we were informed “this has been happening a lot lately with our suites”). The cost of this hotel in this location is absurd. I would not recommend anyone staying here. The only good things I can comment on - beds were comfy, AC worked well, staff nice enough, breakfast option included though we couldn’t wait to leave so didn’t take advantage. The pool has a key lock that only front desk staff can open, the hot tub was not functioning and no chairs at poolside. Recommend spending the extra $80 (for a total of nearly $300 a night) at the Ramada down the road. It has to be better!

We checked in late and the Front Desk person, Miguel Montalban was very friendly and answered all our questions. We were happy to have the free hot breakfast. Choices were very limited but it was good for a hot breakfast: unlimited coffee, choice of meat (sausage, ham, bacon), choice of eggs (scrambled, poached, etc) choice of bread (white, sourdough, etc). The hotel itself seems dated though and needs some revamp/ reno. Overall, we have a good night's rest and enjoyed our short stay which is what counts! ;)

I got here and they said no one told them a room was reserved. I had to wait forever with my 4 year old kid at midnight and it was ridiculous.

Despite the newish looking entrance the rooms don't look like they've had any work done in 20 years.
Carpets had noticeable stains, doors and walls had plenty of dents and chips that someone thought could be hidden by paint, none of the basics you'd expect at a hotel like an ice machine or even an alarm clock.
AC worked, beds were comfortable, the sheets seemed clean, and I didn't have any rashes or bites in the morning so I'd assume that means this place is free of bed bugs.
