Beautiful hotel. Everything about it is luxurious. Staff very nice.

A good hotel for a business trip. Functional rather than lavish, for a 5* hotel. Breakfast options good and wide-ranging.

Amazing service! The facility is definitely dated and could use updating/renovation, but very well kept still. Top 2 hotels I’ve stayed at in China so far.

Completely shocked that this was a Ritz Carlton properly. AC didn’t work properly and room was too hot to stay in. Bathroom was full of mold/mildew and place was dirty. Booked 2 rooms for 3 nights and both rooms had same issues. We requested to check out after 1st night.

Just okay. Bland food. Spotty cleaning. Design flaws. But overall okay.

While the room was clean, the overall value for money was super low.
The shower drainage wasn’t functioning properly so every night my bathroom was essentially flooding and I was very close to slipping on many occasions. The wire chargers next to the bed weren’t working but luckily I brought universal adaptor with wire charging function, otherwise it could be really inconvenient. The amenities were visibly a bit outdated hence a very subpar Ritz, I won’t recommend it.
The only redeeming factor was the staff that were very professional and helpful.

Nice location easy to move around. Very friendly staff and nice swimming pool and spa but breakfast and internet connection service should be improved. Club lounge is nicely staffed but the food is so so.

great location, professional staff....only one issue is that carpet in my room #515 seems a little bit old, everything else is wonderful.

Room was nice. But understanding switch of lights and air condition was difficult.
The taste of morning buffet was not good, especially fruit was not tasty.

Hotel was ok but not what I had expected from Ritz Carlton. Overall experience was ok and not great.

Stayed at the Ritz in many countries around the world and this one is a little too business-like when compared to others. The room was not as big as the other Ritz properties. There was no cold water in the shower (strange) so i called the front desk. They replied quickly and moved me to a suite. WOW. That suite was huge and nice. The pool was nice too, and has a projector showing the movie Sabrina, which I enjoyed.

It was a great one. The hotel was very luxury with a prime location near financial street and Xidan shopping mall. The bed was very comfortable.

My stay at the Ritz Carlton was pleasant and the hotel was next to the Seasons Shopping Mall. The room was clean with a full set of quality amenities.Unfortunately, since the Ritz is in the business district, there is literally no nightlife or late night dining in the immediate area. Will need to head over to Sanlitun or Wangfujing for more touristy attractions. Also the hotel is about a 10-15 minute walk to the nearest subway station which is reasonable.

The only minor complaint I would have about this hotel is finding it! They do not have a map on the web site anywhere, and no one in Beijing knows where 'Financial Street' is because they only know it by the Chinese name (Jirung or something?) If I didn't have the phone # of the hotel with me, I may not have ever found it! Also its about a 10 minute walk to the nearest subway. The hotel itself was great, everything you would expect from a Ritz-Carlton hotel - great service, great room, excellent restaurants and facilities.

This is a five star hotel . Service was exceptional the hotel is beautiful and clean .Everyone spoke english and went out of their way to help with whatever was needed . The only problem I encountered was the taxi drivers had a hard time finding the hotel because it is relatively new .The Ritz open October of 2006. The staff at the hotel made me feel like the most important person in the world. The concierge service was awesome , the information they provided was invaluable . What an incredible experience.

We decided to stay at the new Ritz because I couldn't find a room near the historical district. The hotel was brand new and decorated with Ritz touches throughout. I loved the hotel, but they were definitely still working out some kinks. For example, the heating system was too cold in the lobby and the rooms were too hot during the day. Also, the spa was barely opened and they didn't seem to have their act together. There weren't enough people to staff the place, even though the venue was gorgeous! The Italian restaurant at the hotel is EXCELLENT! Best meal we had in Beijing! The manager of the restaurant was from Florence and had versed the staff on Italian serving and styles. Also, the Chinese restaurant had excellent Peking Duck and the service was very good as well. Stay at the club level, where you are spoiled all day long and can indulge in Western food and drink. I think the staff had mixed up their first martini for me! That was fun. ALSO, concierge services are EXCELLENT and they are able to arrange all sorts of tours for you. I would love to go back to this hotel.
