The staff was great. Very friendly, organized and quick to check me in. There was a drink spilled on the first floor in and around both elevator doors but it was cleaned up in a timely manner. The building/room was not in the condition I would have expected from a Hilton Garden Inn location. Kind of a “run down” look to things like the bath tub/shower, wall mounted air conditioner, and dresser drawers. Location is a downtown area that is being revamped to a new more hip look with easy access to the highway, but still some transient crowd nearby, but I can’t fault Hilton for that.

It would have been nice to have a complimentary continental breakfast offered. As it was, only a seemingly very overpriced breakfast was available for purchase.

The hotel was very clean including the rooms.

We were put in a handicap accessible room with a handicap bathroom. The shower had no shower curtain and the set up was very awkward. We booked a standard non smoking king room, not a handicap accessible room.

HILTON - THIS HOTEL NEEDS YOUR ATTENTION! What a mess. Holes in the wall, torn wallpaper, leaking roof (they had a bucket on the floor), and stains & mold on ceiling in multiple places, so leaks are not a new problem. Old,worn out carpeting. Old, scratched up furniture. Hotel is attached to Tupelo's convention center, so I'm sure it stays busy. The staff was great. They're working with what they have. But this is NOT a standard Hilton property. If it's corporate owned, someone needs to be fired. If it's a franchise, they need Hilton to take notice. Bed was comfy. I hope it was clean. I was too tired to look too closely. Next time I'll stay across the street at Tupelo Hotel.

I feel that the staff isn’t really friendly and doesn’t tell the amenities. Also, I didn’t have early check-in . I would assume that since I am a silver member in expedí and also told them ,I am a Hilton Honors member I would get early check-in.

This hotel is in terrible need for an upgrade! The rooms are very worn out, and the chairs in the loony had slip covers on them that didn’t even fit. Everything was very old and worn out.

It was a good stay, the hotel as much as i like it is aging. Like anything else needs upgrading.

I drove 12 hours from Michigan to only find out that l was charged for one night of a 5 night stay and my room was no longer available. I had to reach out to a nearby Hampton for accommodation the rest of the week. At least an explanation would have helped. Not to mention the telephone system doesn’t work and there is no way to reach the staff. Customers should know this information prior to bookings. Absolutely a horrible experience. Get it together.
Sincerely

Everything was very easy and nice. The keyless entry with my Hilton Honors app was fantastic. We picked our room and had everything ready before even arriving. No need to even stop at the desk for check in or check out.
The room was comfortable and the staff very friendly.

While the service was five-star, it can't make up for the worn condition of this property. The facilities have signs of age and have not been well-maintained.

Front desk- nice. Room- no air conditioner until started working at 3:00am. Only 2 towels and hand towels. 4 staying - no washcloths had to go get more. Tub- rusty and room not cleaned to Hiltons standards. Need more lighting!!

The stay and room was great, but parking was an issue. When we got there there wasn't any parking and I ended up having to park a couple blocks away from the hotel.

my wife is handicapped. We went to an event within walking distance. The room we were given had an exit door and short walk to the event.

Rooms need to be updated. Room smelled like old cigarette smoke.

Stay went well, was charged a couple different times, but that got straightened out and money that was held for pending charges was released. The day manager when we were checki g out was great.

Staff is nice and helpful. We like having a bar and pool area available and walking distance to restaurants. I appreciate the eco efforts but would suggest more; instead of plastic one-use bottles you give out upon arrival, welcome guests to use your water, tea, and coffee station with reusable cups, at their convenience. Part of the waste bin in the room should be for recyclables that get recycled. Thx!

Bathroom sink had not been cleaned. Also there was water in the ice bucket . The mattresses and pillows were absolutely horribly uncomfortable.

Stay was excellent!!

This stay was very budget friendly, due to proximity of our reason for the trip and places to dine. The only negative I can speak on was the condition of the room. The wall behind the TV had very visible stains. The bathroom wall had a very poor patch job of a large wallpaper tear. And the controls on the AC/heat unit wear completely worn off. Luckily the kids enjoyed the indoor swimming pool, which was a definite plus. All in all, in was a good stay and negatives not enough to deter from staying again in the future.

Nice hotel in good location. The problem was it is located on a busy street and there was several loud vehicles going up and down the street in front of the hotel u til 1 am and couldn't sleep

I do not know how this property has such high reviews. I usually never leave a review but I feel obligated to. The hotel is very run down. I would be embarrassed if I were Hilton Corporation to put my name on this place. The room was run down and dirt piled up in the corners around the room, around the bed, around the toilet was disgusting. We went to use the pool and the door was jammed the staff had to let us in from another door. The hot tub was closed off and boarded up. There were obvious leaks in the roof by the hotel bar area and ceiling tiles half falling out. All of the furniture looked used and abused. Our desk was missing the handle to open the drawer and all fabric looked rough. All the carpets in the entire hotel looked like someone drug bags full of waste leaking out on them. I am not a fancy person. I usually try to find a clean hotel to sleep for the night on a trip don’t need anything crazy nice but place was horrible. I am livid for paying the price we did expecting something nice that was anything but nice. Oh, I almost forgot to mention the mass amount of mosquitoes in the pool area and our room. Over priced dive hotel stay away.

Friendly and welcoming staff. 4 stars out of 5 on cleanliness. Dryed out contacts were stuck to the night stand. Pull out sofa couch mattress very stained. White substance on bathrooom wall.

The hotel was very dirty. The amount of dust on the walls and vents was insane. Mattresses were very thin and uncomfortable. Couch looked like someone had spilled stuff on it 100x. There was dust buildup all around the carpet. When I spoke with the front desk about the situation they offered a new room. After looking at the second room it wasn’t any cleaner so we stayed in the room we were already in. If I could have canceled and moved hotels I definitely would have.
