Chaa Creek is magical. The property is incredible, staff were amazing, food was exceptional, activities fantastic and well organized, and a legitimate eco lodge. Very unique experience. And family friendly for all ages.

Beautiful and expansive property with a lot to do and offer. The staff are friendly, attentive, and helpful. Food and drinks were great. The property is surrounded by nature so naturally bugs are present. Overall great place to stay!

Top notch jungle resort bangalo

Fantastic. An oasis of luxury in a tropical forest. The grounds are amazing - like staying in a botanical garden. Staff was very friendly and helpful. All meals at the on-site restaurant were excellent. Pool is fantastic. Only drawback is no air conditioning. It does cool off just a little by late at night, but the humidity is real. During the day, jumping in the pool is a great way to cool off.
Well located for day excursions to nearby Mayan ruins including Xunantunich and the must-do ATM cave.

Fantastic stay at The Lodge at Chaa Creek. The team couldn't have been friendlier and more accommodating. Each person we interacted with was genuine, thoughtful, and was passionate about Belize! I recommend everyone book the cooking class through the hotel.

Very well run, comfortable jungle lodge. Beautiful property, and accomodations.Very friendly staff, terrific bar and breakfast.
Lunch/Dinner food isn't very appetizing and requires improvement and refinement given the incredible access to fresh ingredients. It was disappointing, and even moreso compared to how excellent everything else was. Unfortunately, due to the remoteness, we had to eat there.it was our only option.

The property is amazing; the food is excellent. Everyone is superfriendly. The beds were mildewed and no amount oc changing sheets or disinfectant could change this. Onsite guides were mixed - some were excellent; others were average. There si a lot to do right n the property , and the property os beautiful. Not impressed by their lack of concern tot he mildew issue. Yes, they tried to correct it but never followed up to make sure we were ok (which we were not) - we were going to extend our stay but decided not to.

From the second we arrived to even after we left, Chaa Creek exceeded all expectations and had the best service of any place we’ve traveled. The staff is SO attentive and thinks of things before you do. We arrived to fresh sorrel drink and then we got all our tours (Tikal and ATM Cave day trips, horseback riding to organic farm, sunset canoeing, birdwatching, medicinal trail hike and more) settled for rates better than the other hotels in the area. We stayed at a nearby hotel on our last night in San Ignacio bcs Chaa was booked and they even arranged flights for us and picked us up from that hotel to drive us to the airport, even though we were staying elsewhere! At dinner in the evenings, they’d find us to make sure we knew the time and info of the next day’s tours. We HIGHLY recommend this place, great for families and couples alike. Worth every single penny. Food was fantastic and accommodations were beautiful, too. Woke up to toucans and howler monkeys and started our day in a hammock. We recommend taking a small plane to get here via Tropic Air, the airstrip is so close and it’s beautiful to see the country from the sky. Thank you to all the staff who made this experience exceptional, we will be telling our stories of Chaa Creek for years to come.

This place is heaven on earth! Absolutely spectacular! The service, the views, the tours, the accommodations are beyond belief. Every meal was astounding! The chef has a gift. I cannot say enough how unbelievably amazing this place is. The people and service are fabulous. I hope I will have the opportunity to return someday.

A great experience at a really fantastic resort. It's a beautiful place, full of amazing things to do, from the river canoeing and innertubing, to hiking, to cave tubing, to Mayan ruins, to our favorite - horseback riding. It's a bucket-list kind of place, in our family's opinion, and we will be going back!

Best Hotel we saw in Belize. Located in Jungle highlands with an incredible property. Unspoiled Jungle with crazy monkeys, lots of wild birds and creatures, i am not sure what they were!

We stayed at Chaa Creek based upon online reviews, but no amount of praise can do this place justice. Spacious and clean rooms, immaculate grounds, awesome staff, meals that we can't stop talking about (menu changes daily and everything is prepared fresh), plus activities galore. We stayed in a garden suite (reserved a cottage but upgraded?) and were most impressed by the comfort and size of the room. The pool was a great welcome home after a hot day out and about. Note: No air conditioning, but not a problem. Evenings were cool. We definitely will return, and Chaa Creek will be a central part of our vacation plan.

I would rate this a solid 3.5 stars. Its annoying because all of the things to make it 4.5 stars would be easy to do.It started with me inquiring as to why there werent any reusable water bottles in our room like the little brochure in the room said there should be. I was told that since I was on a 25% discounted rate, I didnt get water bottles. Ok...I guess Ill buy them. I was prepared for the gift shop to charge me $20 per water bottle or something. $4. So I spend $4k at this place and they go through the hassle of not giving us water bottles to save $8. The kicker is, I didnt even want to keep the water bottles, i just wanted to use them while I was there. I heard other guests asking and complaining to different staff members, with the same answer. Just left a bad taste in my mouth from day one. From there, theres a long list of things that are three star type of issues. None major but they all add up.Rooms are really hot: put in a couple more ceiling fans and make them more powerful, like the ones in the bar and restaurant. They dramatically overcharge for transport to excursions. Like $110 to go 20 mins down the road. There are lizards and bugs in the rooms. I get it, its the jungle, but provide some netting for the bed. Cheap and easy. The bar area seating is really uncomfortable. The dinner restaurant staff was consistently underwhelming. And dinner soups and desserts werent great.Anyway, fine but wont return. There are better places.

A pleasant enough stay in the jungle but for the price we would have expected a bit more. Food was good but not great, no AC in the room made for a sticky nights sleep and concierge seemed irritated that we'd booked our own tour to Tikal before arrival. Butterfly exhibit was nice for the kids and they loved the pool (but don't they always?).

I travel a lot and am picky about finding a good bed and Chaa Creek definitely delivered. Im definitely looking to return!
