Nice hotel close to Sunset beach

Not 4 star. Bare minimum in terms of service and facilities. Politest member of staff was the spa attendant as you walk to the pool trying to sell treatments. Staff did the basic, no smiles, nothing to make you feel like you were on holiday. Bare minimum delivered.

Hotel was very nice overall. We stayed in the villa building and were very impressed with the views.
We have two, what we consider significant, complaints. The room was not cleaned properly upon arrival. This was resolved fairly quickly with a call to the front desk. The second complaint was that there was a water leak from the shower which left >1cm of water in the bathroom after each use. It used all of our towels and robes to soak up the water and we weren’t given fresh ones until we asked. We informed the front desk but nothing was done about it over our three night stay.
Breakfast buffet was well worth the extra charge. Old town was walkable. Lapad beach area and promenade were very nice.

A lovely hotel with great staff, food, pool and facilities in a nice location.
There are building works going on around the area and grounds but it didnt bother us.

Very nice place to stay, please be aware currently there are renovations happening to the grounds and surrounding buildings however it’s not too much of an inconvenience.

Nice hotel with excellent gym and spa, really good pool, nice bar and great buffet breakfast. Good location for exploring old town as well as lively local bar scene. Rooms OK but poor air con

Delicious breakfast and lovely swimming pool.

Enjoyed my stay. My pre-booked seaview room wasn't available when we arrived after a delayed flight, and we have to switch rooms in the morning. No discount or refund for the cheaper room we used for that first night. Everything was amazing after that.

Fantastic place to stay, only downside is the annex building does not have dark enough blinds to stop the sunlight from entering at 5:30am

All in all it was good. Out of season so no outdoor pools - fair enough but the spa was shut most of the afternoon and there was no hot tub working.
We were also disappointed and hot that apparently it was too early to turn the air con on so we slept with our balcony door open as the first night our room reached 28° and we thought the room air con must be broken. OK until our neighbour started smoking cigs and other stuff and we had to close it! The staff just said they would ask the manager and wrote our room number on a scrap bit of paper so guessed they didn't get any messages.
Location was very good for stony sunset beach, restaurants and bus services to old town

Unfortunately a bad experience.
Family with 2 adult children, we stayed 5 days there and requested twin beds on arrival.
No twin beds available, thus we received instead two family rooms on 4th floor with two additional single beds each.
The evening my children found lot of ants busy with a dead bug. Mind on the 4th floor. The room was then cleaned, chips and dirt were found under that bed.
My son having issues with insects it was promised to us a change of their room to a double on the next day.
Next day the manager said he decided that we don't deserve a second room change.
Anyway the ants invasion continued and we discovered more chips and dirt under the second single bed. There were of course some other issues, like brown traces on bathroom door, yellow on the WC board and water was not stopping on WC, also our door was not closing properly and remained open for a long day of boat excursion, etc.
Most of the employees are nice, but even no one "Sorry" we've heard from that manager on our departure. Haven't seen this in the numerous touristic places visited around the world.
Nicely situated and with a good Spa, this hotel proposes rather cheap breakfast and does not really correspond to a 4 star hotel, well excepting it's bars' price lists.

Couldn’t even get a complimentary bottle of water after a 10 hour flight

When I booked online it says 4 star. There are different areas in the hotel. They gave us accommodation in Annex villa. One of the terrible accommodation. Bathroom no space even to stand. My suggestion better to find other hotel if you’re on vacation. It’s one star

High class hotel by the beach, short drive from the Old Town. After spending two nights in the Old Town I wanted to have a bit nicer hotel with all the services - and I wasn’t disappointed! Great rooms, tasty food, superb service, big swimming pool area, awesome views and very close to the beach. My room was in Park Villa with a gorgeous sea view from the balcony.
There’s a nice little promenade next to the hotel with shops and restaurants.

The reception staff were exceptional.
Easy access by bus to the old town.

The rooms are tired and need an upgrade. Beds were flat and hard. Bathroom showers are tiny and a large person would have difficulty fitting in them. On the plus side, the staff is friendly and the room cleanliness is quite good. Hotel is located in a residential area, so plenty of restaurants and transportation into the old city is convenient.

I stayed at the Grand Park hotel and it was perfect! Very close to the promenade with tons of restaurant options nearby… felt very safe as a solo traveler in this area. It’s a long walk… but a very safe walk all the way to old town if you’d like… but you can also take a taxi/Uber for relatively cheap. You are then outside of all the hustle and bustle of old town. Everyone was very kind and the sea view rooms have incredible views!

There was a lot of construction work going on around the hotel which was abit unsightly, but when it’s finished I’m sure it will be lovely.
The gym equipment was a little old and could definitely do with a revamp. There was no food or drink available around the pool area. Rooms were clean and comfortable and staff were very friendly and helpful. It was centrally located near sunset beach and had plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. Only a 10 taxi to the old town. Quiet at night which was good.

This property is great value and I highly recommend it. The ocean views were breathtaking. The pool areas (both indoor and outdoor) were a relaxing oasis. My room was spacious and well appointed. There was a minor problem with my shower not draining properly. There was construction taking place on the property so there was some noise but it looks like there will be a lovely new pool area once completed. Fantastic stay and I will be back!

This is rated 4 star and you can see why.Good size room, comfy big bed, powerful shower. Decent size balcony got the morning sun, but view not great. TV had BBC and CNN IN English.Great pools, both indoor and out, with large sun deck and plenty of loungers outside.Decent size gym with free weights and machines.Check in could have been better, arrived late morning but no apparent check to see if room had been serviced. So left clicking my heals in thunderstorm for 3 hours. Contrast this with nearby 3 star Kommodor am at now. Both visits got into room before check out time, return visit fruit basket greeted me .There is great Spa section, went to book 1 hour sports massage and told they did not do?But to put comments in perspective I travel all year and will probably stay in 25 this year, and this was one of the nicest stays i have had. But it pushed my budget of £100 a day, and then some.If budget allows would be my first choice on return, but there are perfectly acceptable alternatives nearby.

Due to all the current travel restrictions, I needed to stay a minimum of 14 nights in a European non-Schengen country. As a solo female traveler, Croatia was appealing and so my search in Dubrovnik began. I was looking for certain requirements in a hotel -24 hour front desk, strong password protected wifi, a gym & swimming pool being tbe top of the list. After narrowing down my choices I began reading reviews & a number of reviews for Grand Hotel Park said that Lucijana, a member of staff, had been invaluable to them. I googled, found an email address & sent some enquiries.
Lucijana is an incredible person & I hope GHP know how invaluable she is! She answered all my queries, booked my transport from/to the airport, sent emails during my stay to check if all was ok, give recommendations etc
GPH itself was perfect for my stay! My room had a beautiful sea view, a mini fridge and a kettle. Tommy Supermarket is a 3 minute walk door to door. The gym has a fantastic range of treadmill, elliptical, bikes, weights, and the pool is deep.
WIFI connection is extremely fast/reliable. I had a room in main building. The staff in the hotel were so pleasant to deal with. I left at 4am to go to airport & they gave me a breakfast to go bag filled to the brim! Breakfast itself had plenty of options.
Plenty of eateries nearby. The hotel has hand sanitising stations everywhere, and great cleanliness standards.
THANK YOU for such a wonderful stay!!

I prefer to stay away from a crowd, and this locating was perfect. 2 miles from city center, right next to the beach with a promenade full of great restaurants and spots to swim nearby. Also the pool and gym were great.
