No room service until I asked for it. I stayed 7 nights and they made the room once. The room was not comfortable as it looks on the website.

The room was quite small and the location wasn’t as convenient especially when it’s snowing. It’s like a 10 min walk to the check in hotel. But they do let you store luggage are the check in spot and let me check in early once the room was ready, which was nice!

The room was clean, and the bed was good. The hotel is close to a large shopping mall and 5 min. walk to the city center. If you are just looking for a bed and a shower, this is convenient, as there are no services (like a bar and restaurant) at the hotel. Next door, however, there is a Chinese restaurant. You can get breakfast at Santa's Hotels Santa Claus, a 10 minute walk from the hotel. This breakfast is 14 euros. Please be aware that you need to pick up the key at the Santas Hotel, a 10-minute walk away. Upon arrival, this was a little unclear to me. So, go there first, so you don't need to go back and forth. I forgot my gloves at the hotel, and the employees were very helpful in sending them to me. This was great! The hotel was a bit expensive compared to the standard, but Rovaniemi is a costly city overall. Be aware of that also when planning a visit.

This is located a bit upper location in main walking street. 1st you have to check in at the other end of street in "main" hotel. There is no breakfast included in price. Building is quite old and rooms have seen better day. Rooms are clean though.

Only basic stuff are available in this hotel and it needs to walk across a few streets from the city centre. However, given it is cheaper than other hotels in the city centre, it is still good overall.

Definitely not 2.5 Star rating as advertised by Expedia. More likely a1Star. Room Tiny. Beds more like camp beds. A youth hostel for sure. Bathroom outdated and grimy. Could not bring myself to use shower; it was disgusting.

You need to get your room key in Santa's Hotel which is 800 meters away, but I didn't see any note when I was booking this hotel. Try to imagine that you need to walk 1.6 kilometers on a frozen and slippery ground as a round trip to get your key under -10 degrees. Fortunately I am the one who has own vehicle to get there.

You get what you pay for. Too expensive and not worth the money. Rudolf should be published as a motel rather than a hotel. 600 euro for 5 nights and no breakfast included.

Short distance from town.A China resturant next to it.Just five minute on foot to supermart .The locatio n is quiet good. Inside the room is clean and tidy. It so comfortable.

Not sure if it wasnt clearly listed or if I just didnt see it, but the check in was a few blocks from Rudolf, as they have a few different buildings. Rooms were small and sound barrier not the best. But clean and very good for the price!

There are no reception at the hotel and you need to take a 5 mins walk to Santa Hotel in the city centre for check-in. That's not very nice for travelers without a car, although the staff members were nice and helpful.

When arriving the hotel, we found that there were no reception. We had to go to another hotel in another street to get the key. If we had no local friend, we would not have found the place.

Well its cheap for area. Check in is in different locations quite a walk. No too bad if like me u find hotel (Rudolf) first & park your car leaving baggage in it but still quite a walk in winter in snow/ice. (Parking near hotel Santa Claus where u check in is limited). Hotel Rudolf is total unmanned. Wifi would not work on first evering so went to use phone in corridor to contact staff (@ check in hotel via internal call) this didnt work either. So as I was going into town where hotel Santa Claus is I popped in, got impression they couldnt care less despite fake smile by front desk staff. This was not fixed till morning of me leaving after 2 nights. Room is cold as windows have constant draft curtains dont fit & heating poor only usable because of standalone electric heater &me moving beds out from window, bathroom/ shower very poor and old desperately need refurbish(rooms had been to some extent refurbished.The whole town is very touristy and set up to rip you off although McDonalds short walk away is good. In essence if you staying in summer or looking for a Hostel style room albeit private bathroom etc then this may suit you: if not then only reason to use is because its cheap for area but does not justify its cost so if possible I recommend staying in a better maybe more expensive hotel. it was also noisy being no staff to keep check on people oh and lots of threats of charges if u forget your room or front door keys (2 keys) never found a hotel like this before!

Near city center but no staff to service. Have to contact at santa hotel before. The staffs are helpfull. Room was nice except bathroom. Only few restaurant nearby and no convinence store. The hotel suits for young people.

We arrived in the Santas hotel to check in, which is ok, but not comfortable to go to the Rudolf hotel with a lot of lagguage unless you have a car. Otherwise nice, warm, hot water always, quiet place, near the center and the museums. I would say great location.
