One of the best hotels I've stayed at in Sapporo! The staff was very helpful in expediting some holiday gift packages. Very gracious helpful staff and an old world charm at this hotel, I am now a big fan of the Monterey brand because of their Sapporo team. Thanks for a great stay!

Nice hotel centrally located in Sapporo. Very nice breakfast with a large variety, both Japanese and Western dishes.

Overall nice to stay in and staffs were kind enough for no complaints. Minor but some staffs cannot speak English that I had a hard time since she kept on speaking Japanese. Besides than nice and convenient!!

The hotel is beautiful, clean and well located about a 10 minute walk from the bustling Sususkino district. The room was typically efficient for a Japanese hotel. The bed was very firm and while I found it comfortable, I can imagine some would find it too hard. The sobakawa pillow was wonderful. The only downside of the room was a lack of individual air conditioning. When I asked at the front desk, it was suggested that I open the window. While this cooled the room down, it was too noisy at night. The bath spa was magnificent, one of the best I have ever experienced in Japan. And the spa staff was so wonderful. Despite all the positives of this hotel, I think the lack of temperature control would preclude a return visit.

The room is sufficiently spacious, and we are enjoying it greatly.

I was changed to the 11th floor, quite. But in 4th floor, hear noise from passing traffic.

Too far away from JR Sapporo station. For over 20 mins if with luggages. The hotel facilities are good and clean, but not expected the hotspring need to be charged for 2200 yen per person per night additionally. There is just one convenient store downstairs, nothing else within 5 mins walk.

Wonderful experience from check in to check out. Stellar rooms, staff, and overall property. Breakfast buffet was fantastic, our best in Hokkaido, in terms of quality of ingredients, variety of options, presentation, and running of the dining room. 10/10 recommend.

7 minutes to JR station but 15 minutes walk to main area. Close to bus terminal also, not too many restaurants around; need to walk 15 minutes. Mainly it’s a business buildings.

Centrally located, nice lobby and staff. Breakfast buffet included had many options, great quality. Rooms were older than anticipated but clean and roomy enough. Located close to Sapporo Station, Odori Park, Nijo Fish Market, and Tanukikoji Shopping Center. Family friendly!

Overall satisfactory! Very kind staffs, spacious room(South Bldg) comparing to general JPN hotel room size, and easy access to transportation(<1km from key places to visit in downtown) to wherever you want to go. Meals are more than expected.

The staff here were gracious and helpful! They held our bags for us and assisted with the weighing of our luggage to ensure compliance with weight requirements. The most modern TV out of all the places we stayed was here and the complex is stunning.

Had a great time here. A slight walk away from city center, but a fantastic experience. Clean, old school luxury, and any necessary goods you’d want. Fit to relax and enjoy all that Sapporo has to offer.

Walkable to some of the more popular areas. The downside is that unlike most hotels, one must pay to use the public onsen - it is not included in your stay (JPY1,000 for morning use, or JPY2,200 for full day usage - but note that the public onsen has restricted opening hours).

This hotel was so great as the room was bigger than most other Japanese hotels and especially it was so quiet and comfortable.
Thank you once again
I will definitely stay this hotel again when coming back to Sapporo.

Nice location! It was really convenient for going famous sight seeing spots, shopping areas and easy to access public transportations.
Very quiet, clean and well-maintained.
I didn't have a chance to have breakfast and dinner there but I enjoyed a spa area. They have natural hot spring. A hot bath refreshed me.

Its surprising that spa was not included. This information should be on the site. Spa is nice and worth the extra cost.
