I did not have hot water for one entire day of my stay. I pointed it out to the front desk three different times. They told me that it was all fixed every time but nothing was. They also offered no solution to the problem.

Very comfortable bed and spacious room, property is a dated, but very clean and tidy. Cannot fault it. Service outstanding. Gabriel at the reception was fantastic, beach waiters great David and Toño. Housekeeping great. Will book again

I had a great stay at this property and heartily recommend it. I want to give 5 stars all around, but there are a few "quirks" to note. First, it is an older building and even recent updates have not fixed things like sizeable cracks between the door and frame of the room. The bathroom features a waterfall shower head, which is code for really low water pressure. It did get very warm after a bit, though. The other thing I never realized I needed on vacation is a fridge. There was no easy way to acquire water or other refreshments and if you did walk to the Oxxo a few blocks away, there was no way to keep them cold. Even the cheapest chain hotels in the US have mini fridges, and quite often microwaves and coffee makers. I really missed the fridge, so much that I might reconsider staying here on the next visit, or at least see about bringing a collapsible cooler. Now the good stuff: it's right on the beach and they have lounge chairs and umbrellas already set up; it's literally the gay beach; it's within walking distance of nearly everything you need or the starting point of most of the organized tours to the surrounding sites. And last but not least, the staff were all super helpful and had a good knowledge of English for when your Spanish fails you. Again, recommended, but with caveats.

I had a very bad experience at this property. A guest decided to urinate on my bedroom door early in the morning and all the staff did was apologize. It took a long time for someone to come clean my room. The whole incident ruined my day. On a separate day we were almost accosted by another guest at the hotel. In general, the hotel is in great disrepair and needs a serious update. You can hear all the noise from outside the hotel in the rooms as none of the doors in the room close completely.

Hotel is definitely in a great location next to the beach. Arrived into my room open up the shower to my surprise. It was a dead roach. The floor was cracked / Unraveled. The view was spectacular. Didn’t realize this Jr suite was directly underneath. The club was really noisy every night. Hotel definitely needs a maintenance upkeep seems to be a bit rundown Don’t think I will be returning at least to stay, may return to watch The drag shows we’re very comical, funny and entertaining

I come back here for the staff; they are always excellent. It is very walkable too. The property is well beyond need for reno. The water pressure in the shower was like a drip. :(

I found this place by accident and the price was very good for a place right next to the beach. Everything is within walking distance and you can explore the city and its culture/food. The staff is awesome - definitely will come back.

Blue Chairs is nice but basic accomodation and overpriced for the standard of accomodation. The staff are lovely but my room didn’t smell good. Fortunately the aircon broke on my second day and I got moved to a room that didn’t smell and was overall nicer. Not all the rooms smell weird. I also liked the more DTE guests at the hotel which attracts a more mature and less self conscious crowd than most gay LGBT hotels. Also there’s no safe in the room. Great LGBT hotel but needs an upgrade.

Property Is Amazing , Location is Wonderful. The Only Thing I, Say It Great Remodeling since a lot of other plans to spend a lot of money in there I think as a gratitude for clients they should remodel and add new things to the hotel. Such as laundry room, more celebrations , etc…

Staff was very professional. The beach is just a few feet from the hotel. Great location! The rooms are nice and cozy. Also, they have good balcony with some beach view and other have great beach view. The food is average. No telephones in the rooms

Friendly staff, nice room with a comfortable bed, however the hotel facility needs some love. Very thin doors/windows, you can hear everything happening outside the room (staff radios at very high volume, housekeeper in and out of the rooms, slamming doors…) not a relaxing experience unfortunately…

All the staff was incredible. Only issue was with the beach server, who was busy drinking with other guests rather than checking on others needing service. All for someone enjoying their day, just not at others expense. Love the layout of the hotel and had a good time in the outlets.

great property , staff were good , nice little restaurant on the beach , rooms were older but ok . my biggest complaint was no hot water 7 out of the 10 days . i am a very open minded person and it didnt effect my stay it should be said this is a predominantly gay hotel in case some one is concerned about this or is looking for such a hotel . i had a great view ,nice big sweet nice couches table & chairs & kitchen and this room had killer INTERNET the best i have seen in a hotel . hope this helps
