Not my favorite stop. Staff was great but the room and the hotel overall had a bad smell.

There is only one thing I can say that needed attention. The hotel and room was very humid and had a musty smell. The bedding was clean and the floors were clean. Employees were very friendly and accommodating.

Charged extra fee for “late check in” not posted or said anywhere. Just a “house rule” they said. And had 4 rooms reserved.

This property has several issues. I have stayed here twice and the first time was OK, but this go around was significantly worse. First, I was placed in a room on the 2nd floor. The moist air and the smell of mold and mildew was overwhelming in this room. I am normally not bothered by or sensitive to this, but it was way too much here. This hotel clearly has a water issue somewhere. Second, the internet overall is really awful and slow. I was excited because this hotel actually has a wired connection but alas, it was better to just use my smartphone's hot spot than either the wired or wireless. Lastly, and most egregious, when I was here their key card system stopped working and for the last 2 days of my stay anytime i left my room I had to get an employee to come back up with me to unlock the door. There appeared to be no urgency in getting this fixed. Inexcusable and I will not stay here a 3rd time even tho I am in Ennis a lot for work and will not recommend to my coworkers either.

My stay was excellent with no problems.

Our ceiling was patched up, & our microwave didn't work. We had to go down stairs just to fix our pop corn.

Everything seemed to be ok until I, the room I was in, the tub faucet would not stop running, the air conditioning did not cool properly, and there were ant in the bed and bath room.

Rooms were musty and damp

It was a one night spur of the moment stay on our way back to Houston. Our room was quite clean and bed comfortable. Didn't stay for breakfast but coffee was good and decent breakfast available.

Bathtub in 125 needs replaced! I opted to wait to shower until I got home! Breakfast was good, not too busy, but all tables were dirty and had to ask for it to be cleaned! Had little flying bugs around lights!

The staff was friendly but the room was terrible. They gave us a handicap room that smelled like a wet dog due to the water from the shower running out of the bathroom onto the carpet in the room. They said they were full and could not change our room but could come spray the room. After paying over $240 I do not think I will ever stay there again.

The lighting in the room was poor. Lots of lamps but no bright light for putting on makeup and combing hair. This was very frustrating. Also no light in the little area where coffee pot was-so hard to prepare coffee

We stopped on our way home from a trip. We could tell they were working on fixing things up due to two parking spaces in front filled with flats of tiles. The room had a stelae smell and obviously repairs that were not hidden well. The beds were ok but the carpet and couch had stains all over them and then we went to sit on the desk chair we saw it was not in good shape. Then one of the reasons we picked this hotel was the fact it listed hand bars in the bathroom. My husband has mobility issues so this was a plus but the toilet seat was so low I even had trouble getting up from it and I teach PreK and sit in the low chairs. The front desk lady was very sweet and kind. We have had good experiences with Comfort Inn in other cities and states.

Excellent location. Breakfast was good. Price gouging for the eclipse was particularly frustrating. I had booked the reservation before the prices went up but when I had to update the dates of the reservation, I was forced to pay 3-4 times the nightly rate.

Booked a 3 day stay thru Expedia, confirmed at front desk at check in. Found out they changed to 2 day after check out. Charged us twice as much for 1 night. Will not go back Sham deal because of eclipse

Everything was wonderful. Friendly staff, clean room, AMAZING shower and super comfy bed. Will for sure stay again if ever back in that area.

Beds were uncomfortable, and toilet was off.

Went to check in manager was not friendly, very abrupt. No eleverators were working. Had to carry everything up the stairs.

When we got there, the elevators were broken, so they gave us a room on the first floor close to the lobby. The bathroom toilets did not work because the water would not turn on at all, but it was past midnight and we were very tired so we just stayed in that room even though we had to fill up the toilet with the ice bucket every time we had to go to the bathroom.

The staff there was very nice and helpful
