One of the cosiest and most homely places Ive stayed. Slightly under rated as a 2 star hotel. Very comfortable and clean.

Lovely little night away just what was needed before my daughter’s exams started. Great service very helpful and understanding staff with disability awareness (daughter is autistic). Lovely place, great meals and drinks

I thought it was very good value for money. Comfortable beds and sizeable room in a good location. My only gripe was that the curtains didn’t keep out any light so my toddler was up before 5am resulting in a poor nights sleep for me.

The Swan Motel was absolutely lovely for our family. The staff were polite and helpful. The room had everything we needed, and opened directly into a garden area for the kids to play. And the food was absolutely delicious (and gigantic)!

Excellent service; brilliant staff and even fantastic chefs, with special thanks to Becky who was so considerate to my special needs. All the staff were first class. I would recommend the Swan to anyone looking to stay or just going for a meal in the evening. One request some extra comfortable chairs to relax after a meal in the lounge.

We had a fab weekend stay, the Staff were kind, helpful and understanding about Diane's Allergy when it came to dining. The food was very nice, plenty of it. The Motel is tastefully decorated and unique. The only downfall was the fact the bed was too high for Diane to get into due to health issues, we did address this issue to the Proprietor. Will be going back in the near future.

The food was excellent. The staff were efficient and friendly. The only unfortunate downside was the heating breaking down and not being fixed within the day. To be fair the owner was away and the electric fan heater was a substitute for the bedroom (but not the bathroom)

Despite arriving late for check in we were greeted with a smile. The room was spacious and comfortable. We went for the English breakfast in the morning and were not disappointed. We stayed the one night but will certainly return if in the area.

Great place to stay with our family. Portion sizes for food were enormous so definitely only need one kids meal between 2 kids and the breakfast kept us full all day!

Rooms are situated outside the pub and are clean and comfortable. The motel/pub is great with a nice atmosphere. Breakfast from 7:30am and it was fantastic.

Lovely, spacious room with a double and two singles for an adult and two children. Food good, children’s portions very generous and good value. Staff very courteous and helpful. Pool table a definite asset!!

A lovely place to stay, with with lovely and friendly staff. Food was really good and plentiful and at very good price. The accomodation was really comfortable and as it is into the country side you can get a very peaceful good nights sleep. Beccles a couple of miles down the road is a worth while visit with a variety of shops and places to eat.

We stayed at the Swan for 3 nights. We were made welcome on arrival. The room was clean, bright and fresh. The breakfasts were outstanding!!! Whilst there my husband had an accident with a cup of coffee. A complete change of bed linen was required. This was carried out in a most efficient and empathetic manner. My husband was most upset but he was made to feel better by the reassurance and. Thoughtfulness of the member of staff. Thank you. It meant a lot to us!.

We took our dog. It was our anniversary. Friendly greeting. Nice rooms. Grounds lovely. Fanradtic service in bar and restarant. Food taste amazing, massive portions. Great advice on where to take dog for a walk. Very friendly staff. Welcoming for us and our dog. Thank you

There was a festival on so quite noisy but did stop at 11pm. The beds were abit uncomfortable as the mattress springs we're sticking out and the beds sqeeked. Also the toilet was right at the side of the wall so you couldn't really go to the toilet properly as no room between the wall and toilet. But the room was spacious just the toilet. Also the double glazing did stop some of the noise.
