I chose Tuvana because of the high rating from the reviews. I noticed the few bad reviews but chose to ignore those and hoped for the best. All in all the hotel is okay but I won’t give it five stars. The rooms could do with a refurbish especially the bathrooms. The pool is small but good enough for the size of the hotel. They also don’t provide drinking water in the rooms. I unfortunately left a few items in the bathroom when we checked out. My next hotel helped me contact Tuvana immediately the day after to ask about the items left behind. They were mainly toiletries including an electric toothbrush plus my prescription glasses. I can easily replace some of the items but not the electric toothbrush and prescription glasses which were indispensable to me on the trip. But to my disappointment they said that they didn’t find any of the items except for the base of my electric toothbrush. I told them to ask the cleaner as I’m more than certain I left those items there - plus if they have the base of my electric toothbrush, what happened to the brush head?… It seems that someone decided to throw everything else and kept the item that had the most value. I would expect for a hotel to at least keep left behind items for a few days in case the guest contacts them instead of just disposing the items straightaway. Anyway, they sent me the toothbrush base but I had to pay for shipping.

This a lovely hotel set in the old town and one of the older buildings renovated and made into va hotel. It was like stepping back in time but in a nice way. Really quirky and peaceful. Lovely food excellent staff and nice pool set in a garden. Well placed for the centre of Alastair. This is a wow hotel and I highly recommend it if staying in Antalya

This has to be one of the best hotels I have stayed in. Having traveled all over the world and stayed in many hotels this really is in my top ten. The ambience, location and food are superb. However, its greatest feature is the welcome from the staff. Their willingness to make your stay a good one. This really is a gem of a hotel.

I loved this hotel. I especially liked the Olde World decor. Some parts could do with a bit of repair but that didnt spoil the overall effect. The staff were friendly. Breakfast was good, would recommed the hotel to get Vegan milk to cater for Vegans. If I come back to Antalya I would stay here again.

The location of thr property is fantastic. The property is beautiful, clean and tidy. The staff are very helpful. The manager was very welcoming and everything was explained well. When we checked into our rooms, the room temperature was extremely high, the air conditioning was not left on for us to make a comfortable entry. Inspite of being in the room, the temperature was very high. The cooling was extremely poor and for some reason the temperature can't be dropped below 18. We had 2 rooms booked and air conditioning was a problem in one of the rooms, although cooling wasn't that great in the other room too. We were offered 2 keys to leave the ac on but it still didn't solve the problem. In the middle of the night had to request a standing fan following which we could sleep well. Not sure if it is just us or if cooling is a real problem at this place. There are 3 restaurants of which 2 have good vegetarian options. The place is Lovely they could just do so much better with central air conditioning in lobby, restaurants etc. The second issue we had as vegetarian was , there are not enough vegetarian options in breakfast buffet, and ingredients are not written down, hence difficult to guess. Could do with going an extra mile to keep guests happy and by asking. If i had known i would have boooked without breakfast and had something in a cafe instead. The pool is lovely too, but if one family with kids is in the pool, you need to wait before they finish, pool is small.

I cannot explain how amazing this hotel is. First of all the location is right in the old town but down a beautiful little street so you feel tucked away, it has 3 incredible restaurants and a pool that is never too busy. The rooms and hotel itself are authentic, big, clean and so lovely, cleaned and restocked for you everyday. The breakfast and breakfast itself was one of my highlights - in a fine dining restaurant that is part of the hotel (that I went to on my birthday evening and was AMAZING). The food is incredible and the service is outstanding, even at a self serve breakfast the staff are attentive and bring you the things you need out before asking (for us it was a bucket of ice for our iced coffee!), the seating area is beautiful and never packed. The area of the hotel is just amazing, you feel safe and tucked away but literally in the middle of everything. All the staff are attentive and always there for you should you need, the whole place is just incredible. It took a while for me to choose a hotel as I wanted something in the center of things but not busy or too much going on and I cannot get over how incredible and perfect this place is. The best place I’ve ever stayed at. I’ll be back as soon as I can !!!! Thankyou.

The Tuvana is situated in several wonderful historic buildings that have beautiful terrrace gardens and are directly across from each other connecteed by a very private street. The rooms are large--I had booked an economy room but they upgraded me to a deluxe and I might have been more comfortable in a smaller space. The AC unit was a bit old and it took a while to cool the large room. There was a wall of windows with draperies to block the sun--if they were to renovate I would replace the heavy, dark-colored draperies with something in a lighter color, texture, and weight...it would lighten up the dark wood. There was a lovely, large community balcony off of the main hall that overlooked the fine dining terrace and was a nice reading/cocktail spot! Also a beautiful seating area on the mezzanine level. The pool was in the building across the street but easily accessed. The service was great.

As soon as I arrived the staff were friendly and helpful. The grounds and the hotel building are beautiful. The pool area is relaxing and the water was just the right temperature. It was small but cozy. The food from the restaurant was delicious but you do have to wait till 4pm - not available for lunch!!! The room was comfortable if in need of a little diy - but had everything you needed.

We loved this hotel! It is as beautiful as the photos and the location is very central and close to transit. There are many shops, bars, and restaurants all closeby. Our room was beautiful, staff were very helpful, and the breakfast was amazing. Would definitely recommend staying here if visiting Antalya.

Quite amazingly recreated old world charm. We were given an automatic room upgrade at no cost by the helpful staff at the reception. Wonderful location at the heart of the old town of Kaleici, it is walking distance from all attractions like the Mermali Beach, Harbour, Hadrian's Gate and tram stops which are a very convenient mode of transport to go to the Archaeological Museum or the Pebble Beach Park. There are no elevators, but the hotel staff moved our luggage for us. Also the Taxi cannot approach the main gate and would drop off about 20 to 30 meters away - but again, the hotel staff stepped in to do the hard work. We had a very memorable and comfortable stay

I did NOT like this Hotel. Most of the charm is the location in Kaleici. But the actual hotel is not good. I would recommend avoiding! Rooms not very clean: Firstly, the rooms are not well maintained or clean. The mirror in our room was covered in white streaks. And for anyone who uses dental floss, they know it’s the streaks from those white food particles on the mirror. Disgusting. Rooms not brought up to current standards: I understand the buildings are often quite old. But with the prices being charged here (these hotels are not dramatically cheaper than what you can get for a mid-tier hotel in North America), you would think they would have appropriate electric outlets near the beds. Instead, we had to unplug the TV on the opposite side of the room to plug in our electronics. We stayed in 4 hotels during our stay in Turkey and this was the only hotel that did not have appropriate electrical outlets in the right locations (several locations, including beside the beds). I’ve stayed in similarly priced old style hotels and they at least renovate their hotels. This hotel looks like nothing has changed in decades. Breakfast was awful: The eggs were watery, the orange juice was just some powdered crap. Given that this hotel is attached to the Seraser “fine dining” restaurant, I would guess the food would be half decent. But it was not. Poor Hotel Upkeep: Several of the lighting fixtures in the Seraser restaurant, where we had breakfast, had power cords that were taped up.

The hotel is beautiful. Located in the Old Town. The room was large and mine had a balcony. The breakfast had a large offering of items. It is a great place to stay if you want to see the historic sites in Antalya and go to the beach. If you are planning on seeing the ruins outside of town than this a terrible place to stay. It is not located near any highway and there are no signs to help you, except to the airport.
