I loved everything about the Naka Island. The staff was amazing! The scenery was amazing! The villa was everything!

The property was amazing. We had a villa with our own private pool on the beach. Absolutely a must to visit.

Staff: This is key because for me bad staff can ruin my trip. The staff here were amazing!!! Probably the best thing about Naka is the people they employ - even the 'student trainees' were great. The GM David was awesome, Nana was great, the two students Film and Maddie were super nice and the Head of Activities (cannot remember the name) was a lot of fun. Seriously, every single person was kind and polite. I could not believe it!
This place just might have to be my go-to yearly for New Year's! I loved it! Before I went I thought the excellent reviews were fake but they are NOT!! This place is amazing: clean, comfortable, safe and NOT crowded at all (on some days there were literally 6 people on the beach and most were my family!)

An excelent experience in Phuket region. Very nice private pool villa . Very good breakfast. Gardens should be improved , Fish and seafood option in the Grill should improve too with more fare prices.
Excelent swiming pool and service around

Just returned from a lovely 10 days at Naka Island, great relaxing spot.
Special thanks to Edward who went out of his way to make the trip very relaxing. Nothing was too much trouble. It was sad to leave! Never had such incredible service as we got from Edward!
Beautiful resort and lovely peaceful setting
Great plus was being able to cycle outside the villa to the Naka Palm restaurant in the next door village if we wanted to eat out one night- was nice to have the option of a free bike at any time to sample local food.

Fabulous hotel. Great amenities, great location. A quiet place to rest. BUT outrageous food price. There are zero option to eat outside of the property on this tiny island (except for a small local Thai with limited choice), and it is clear that the hotel is taking advantage of this to charge 3 times more than what they should. Drinks are also very expensive.

Overall the staffs are helpful and nice. But they will enter into your villa after ringing the bell for 1-2 seconds without waiting your respone.

Greta spot, they are doing some construction to keep up maintenance, once I Pointed out our room was in the middle of it they moved us right away no questions asked. Great Service and location

Staff were friendy. But the price of the food is ridiculously expensive. The food was ok.
Breakfast was so so, not much variety

Stayed in ocean view, lovely but water not warm enough for an outdoor bath.

Naka Island Resort can best be described with one word: "Seclusion". There really isn't much around, but I guess that's what they're trying to achieve. Get to the village to see natives (15m walk), get to the beach (30m walk). I love walking, but not in unpaved mosquito habitat areas. like ALOT of MOSQUITOS. And the bikes always never seemed to be available the 4 days we stayed there. There's no convenient stores and you have to travel back to the Marina to get in / out of town to get something as simple as fresh fruits. Everywhere was "buggy" this / "buggy" that. Kids loved this. The staff was nice and accomodating for this, but we sometimes felt like we were inconveniencing them. The room we had felt a bit dated, but it was interesting nevertheless. At least we had our own pool. :)

Amazing location, fantastic staff, shame about the building work.

This is probably the worst Marriott property I have stayed at. The condition of the resort was way below average to start with. Once checked in we had brown muddy water coming out of all the faucets in the bathrooms. It took the staff about 5 attempts to sort that issue out, and the hotel refused to give us a different room. Apart from this mess, both my wife and I were hit with severe food poisoning. We ate once at the all day dining restaurant, once at the sunset bar and ordered into our room for one meal. When we wrote to the hotel, all we received was a standard ‘we regret for the inconvenience caused’ message from the general manager of the hotel. So much for being a ‘luxury collection’ property and charging guests upwards of $300 a night. Absolute shit experience.

Some staffs were very nice, but some were very impolite.

I liked the property as it was isolated from the main land. It was resort living with the staff taking care every need you gave quick and efficiently. The pool was amazing and free ice cream every afternoon didn’t hurt either!

The premise was gorgeous and absolutely breathtaking. The pool was slightly disappointing from what was seen In the pictures. The food was mediocre but charged at a very high price as everyone was just isolated and they had a captive audience. The last issue should not be the way to go as it made a mockery of the stay. Don’t mind paying lots for great food and alcohol but not really for normal meals and basic alcohol. It just takes a piss really.

This was our second time in this resort, first time we had stayed in a ocean view pool villa which was amazing. We had a fantastic time, our villa was so beautiful and comfortable that we hardly ever left it. This time around we booked a luxury suite, we thought not having a pool villa would make us more social and we would enjoy the resort more. Unfortunately the suite even thought very nice and comfortable was looking to a wall. All windows were directly looking to a wall. Who travels to a tropical island pays considerable amount of money for a suite to look at a wall? The resort is very nice but there is no place to hide when it rains other then your room. In a tropical island rain is not a rare occasion. It can even be nice and romantic when you can watch it comfortably from your room or villa but when your view is just a wall no so much.

We had the seaview pool villa and it was perfect in every sense. You just don't want to leave the villa ever!

This is my second stay in this resort, very comfortable and quiet, you feel you are different compare to other resort in Phuket (you feel high class here), usually I don't stay in the same hotel when I go to vacation, but this one is a exception, I think I will go there again. Big room, big garden, big swimming pool (not easy to find such a big pool in this area), many water sports can play, 30 mins walk then you can reach a very nice beach, very nice environment!! But you need to prepare to face some bugs problems, this time I saw a baby snake too. Kids activity can be a little improve. Regarding the restaurant, this time they improve alot in the breakfast, but I still suggest they can use better flour to make their bread, also I suggest they can change more often the manu, offer more variety cuisine, since these two restaurant is the only choice you can have when you stay in this resort. Lastly, since the price of the food is not cheap, I suggest they can serve bigger potion.

Lovely place to have a break from the hustle bustle. All the hotel staff were friendly and extremely helpful. Oliver the manage goes the extra mile ! Breakfast was excellent with wide variety and quality food. Well done Naka Island. 5 star hotel with 5 star service

Beautiful resort with fantastic facilities. It’s a bit pricey and for that money you would expect a better quality of food. It’s still good but you would probably eat better Thai food on the street for less than 10 times the cost.

The location is good, private away from the hustle and bustle of the main Island but it certainly does not live up to 5 stars or luxury. The rooms are a great concept but the pools are green and full of algae and resort overall lacking in service. The main pool is also full of algae with broken tiles all over so bad I did not let any of my family use it. The staff are so polite and friendly but under pressure as there are not enough of them to give a good service, we actually felt sorry for them, expect to wait over an hour for your meal, buffets are not that great either and repetitive. The resort needs some TLC and there is a strong smell of sewage at times.

Property is aging and definitely needs upgrading. Not much to do on the resort. Food was expensive but had no choice as there was nothing around the resort. Good for people who love to just sit in the sun and do nothing!

It was a beautiful resort, the room was great, however restaurant quality is only so so.
