The hotel has great charm, staff was great as well. Getting on and off the island is easy and they are accommodating by holding yoir luggage the day you check out so that you.can continue enjoying the island. The restaurant attached is delicious and the robes in the room were an added touch. Will definitely stay again.

Definitely going back to that hotel

Walls are a bit thin, so you hear everything in the hallway; ac units are a bit loud and they take a while to cool down; overall a good option; beds were comfortable and very clean- service staff was excellent

Staff was very kind and helpful. Immediate area around hotel is safe, but a tad noisy early on morning (trash trucks, etc. and standard “start the day” activities - just wasn’t ready for it at 6:30am). Ferry boat is close so you hear the horn… but you get used to it very quickly. Most food places close around 9pm - but the @ttic (attic) was open until 10. Good food. Area heyday was probably a few years ago, but a neat town. Enjoyed watching the boats in the harbor. This is not high end shopping district… this is local shopping stores and boutiques. “Martha’s madness” is by far the best ice cream around (I’d call myself a connoisseur…) We didn’t get a car from Logan airport and I was a little concerned about how to get around MV - but glad we didn’t get a car. I don’t know that I’ve ever relied on public transportation before - but it was very cheap and highly efficient on getting around town to town. Works well….

I ended up having an unexpected one night stay at the Mansion House when my flight home from MV was cancelled due to bad weather. My stay was very pleasant and Trey at the front desk was particularly wonderful and helpful in that i had to scramble to make plans to get off the island at that point. He could not have been nicer! I really appreciated my stay there and would stay again!

I really enjoyed the Mansion. The rooftop cupola was lovely. The staff was friendly and responsive. The location is great. Shopping and restaurants are with walking distance as are beaches and access to public transportation.

Great find at the last minute! I will definitely come back. Clean, great location.

The property location and room was great, however the hot water in the sink too way too long to warm up. Everyday it took more than 30 minutes to get hot in the sink, the shower water heated up fine. Also the bathroom door paint was pealing and needs to be repainted. Overall it was not worth the price we paid to stay there, we paid way too much. But the staff and service were great.

An absolute perfect spot. A bit pricey. But in my estimation, well worth the cost during this high season.

Our stay at Mansion House was underwhelming. We chose this place because of how highly rated it was, but once we arrived and checked in, it was just your average, run-of-the-mill small business hotel. I could tell that this place was updated in the early 2000s because it still looked/felt like the early 2000s. I understand that small businesses were hit hardest by the pandemic a few years ago, but small fixes like carpet tiles that were coming up in the hallway were very present the more we spent time looking around. MH needs an update to warrant the per night stay rate, yes, even in the busy season. Hotel staff were extremely crippled by the establishment's policies. They were unwilling and unable to break said policy in the middle of crisis, within 4 hours of our booking and attempting to correct our mistake. The desk staff also promised the GM would contact me and that never happened. Instead, we were offered a bottle of champagne, but we don't drink. My husband used the sauna, which was lukewarm at best and he said the pool's tiling looked very dirty. The hotel is a wonderful location and very convenient, just be aware that if you have a city view, you will hear all the traffic and things beginning at 5:30am.

I've stayed at The Mansion House on several occasions over the past 30 years and it just gets better and better. The location can't be beat. The staff is genuinely friendly and happy to help. Everything you need is available either in the room/facility or very near by. The view from the Cupola is breath-taking and even with a 1st floor street facing room, it was super quiet and very relaxing.

Centrally located and close to Vineyard Haven SSA terminal. Access to VTA buses was very easy as well.
Nice size rooms, and clean bedding and bathrooms. Overall, we enjoyed our stay in Mansion House Inn.

We rarely stay in a 3 star hotel but we found this to be cute, comfortable, clean, and conveniently located. We had a great view and lots of room. Staff was very responsive and adjacent restaurant was very good. Surprisingly no noticeable street noise.

We were a family of five (three teens) and very comfortable in the spacious room (two doubles and two singles in a separate alcove with doors). Conveniently located for ferry but that did bring traffic noise as the first ferry disembarked. Several great dining options within walking distance including the adjoining restaurant. A grab-and-go breakfast is included but fairly basic. The cupola rooftop deck provides great views. Swimming pool is good, towels and chairs available to borrow. Staff really friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

Not sure it’s worth the price there should’ve been breakfast or something included just kind of standard. However, staff was very very friendly and the room was quite appealing. Nevertheless, the idea of Not having control of the air conditioner due to Echo friendliness and lack of hot water certainly is somewhat inconvenient.

Excellent inn. We had 4th floor harbor view with a small balcony (see photo). Gorgeous! Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They lent us beach chairs and towels to go to the town beach. There is a full gym plus pool, hot tub, steam room, and sauna. Clean and well maintained. We used them all free of charge. Check-in was quick and easy. Decent breakfast bar in the morning - coffee, teas, cereal, packaged muffins, cookies, and hard boiled eggs. Check-out was simple and they let us leave our bags for the day while we shopped. All in all, a wonderful stay.

We loved our room, the staff was friendly, and the gym is great. My one negative comment is the roof deck has no shade. They need umbrellas!

Great location, amenities, view, room size, walk ability to restaurants and shopping. We reserved two rooms. Both were nice, clean and had a balcony. The continental breakfast was a pleasant surprise. The staff was very friendly and helpful, Staying in MV is expensive but this place was well worth it.

Pleasant hotel, in a nice location. Entirely overpriced for what it offers. It is priced as a luxury hotel, which it is not, it’s just a pleasant historic B&B. To bring it to the luxury price point, there needs to be decent furniture (instead of coastal flea market pieces), luxury bedding, luxury towels, other little touches like espresso maker, free condiments, mini bar… And don’t even get me started on “breakfast” - it was like a summer youth hostel (no fruit, no real milk, nothing but cheap cereal boxes). The full service gym with swimming pool, jacuzzi and sauna was nice, but overcrowded, because membership and day passes are freely available to non-hotel guests. Still, if you must keep up with your workouts on vacation and go in the off hours, the gym may make the hotel price worthwhile for you.

We had an amazing overnight stay in the 2 double room with alcove. Plenty of space for the 6 of us. The beds were super comfy! The amenities were perfect: pool and jacuzzi, gym/yoga class (included in the room rate), bathrobes and hairdryer. The front desk was amazing and so friendly. Oh and the roof top deck- unbelievable view! Can’t wait to book again next year!

We had a great day there in our trip to Martha’s Vineyard. It was safe accessible, and great parking. I was also impressed with the cleanliness. I forgot an item there and they have a special service that mail it back to you for nominal fee, which was excellent. I’d stay again

Lovely property. Disappointed that the room we selected and paid for was “not available “

Cute place. Friendly staff. The rooms are big. The hotel is on the main road therefore it is noisy. You can hear the cars going by. It is in a good spot near lots of small shops and restaurants for this part of the island. Near the ferry that transports the cars to the island.

Beautiful property and location, right at the start of shopping area in vineyard haven. Parking included so no worries. Also close to ferry, car and bike rental. The staff is very courteous and helpful. If you are lucky and get a room on 3rd or 4th floor you get a nice view of the town too. Our room had a balcony, a wonderful addition to the rooms. Will definitely stay here again unless we go to oaks bluff

Great amenities, location and staff. It was really quiet. Slamming of doors and noises of all kind could be heard inside the room. It was a nice room with a really cool porch setting with rocking chairs that needed a good wipe down before sitting on them. The gym, pool, sauna were welcomed walk-ins, which I guess is cool during off peak season but left me questioning safety. All in all, a good experience and would consider staying again.
