The check in was really simple and straight forward with instructions given prior to the visit.
Upon arrival we were all really pleaaed to find the rooms as cosy and as comfy as they looked in rhe pictures.
It was a great placw to stay in the centre of Nailsworrh and use as a base for exploring the surrounding areas.

We enjoyed our stay at the Wild Garlic Rooms. Initially we were disappointed there was no parking onsite but we found parking places in Nailsworth that were 23 hours free parking and just a short walk. We would definitely go back but this time we would book a ground floor self catering room.

The room looks lovely on first appearance. We stayed in The Loft and it was really in need of some tlc. The floor in the bathroom is warped, there’s no water pressure in the sink and the sink was coming off the wall so I stopped leaning on it! The shower needs work, in general it’s poor. A bath took half an hour to fill. Not worth the price we paid, but location was fantastic for getting around. Bed was very comfortable which is important, but this room needs significant work, including the bathroom needing a decent renovation job. Also, to hear your cleaner openly being rude and complaining outside sat down isn’t exactly very good for business.

Lovely large room with huge en-suite bathroom. Great continental breakfast. Location was ideal and surrounding area was very quaint. Would stay here again for sure.

We stayed as a family in the nest. The place was really lovely and clean. The complimentary breakfast was also great and replenished the following day.
Could do with blackout blinds/curtains as it was very bright, but that is all.
The owner was lovely and really helpful too. Will come back!

Comfortable apartment in a good location to local amenities. Some surfaces needed a better clean and some lights in the bedroom weren’t working. Over bath shower wasn’t great and needs attention as very leaky and doesn’t stay in position. Anti-slip bath mat would also be a useful addition. Minor issues overall and easy to resolve. Supplied breakfast was all local produce and very good.

So the big let down for this place was the smell of sewage from the bathroom which put us off from using the shower and luckily closing the bathroom door did stop the smell but we stayed only for one night. The continental breakfast was okay. Bed was nice and the room was warm enough with plenty of heating options

Hotels didn’t pass on that we needed a two single beds so when we asked the staff at the hotel to change this they refused this I had to sleep on a chair and had about 30 minutes sleep

Fantastic appartment with very friendly staff. Would be an easy 5 star review, if not for the very comfortably sitting sleeping sofa, that is very uncomfortable to sleep on.

Room was absolutely lovely. But I was woken up at 5:45 by the heard of elephants upstairs that continued to run a marathon for 2 hours. My bed shook every time they stomped about upstairs. Absolute worst nights sleep. Get me out of here

Nice village and nice place to stay overall. Perhaps we caught them on a bad day as the room wasn' particularly clean and was quite musty smelling. The only was extremely helpful and moved us and, while better it felt like it needed a deep clean and a little TLC.

Mathew and Bella were wonderful. You can tell that they truly love Nailsworth and the Wild Garlic Rooms. Our stay in the Cotswolds was perfect, in most part because of their care! What a great hotel.

In an ideal world some features could do with improving . Continental breakfast is OK but very basic , rice crispiest/sweet muffins/oranges etc so perhaps coming to an agreement with a local cafe to offer a cooked breakfast within the price might be an option , Or even pay a chef to cover three hours in your own recommended restaurant to provide for room clients .
the Tv remote ‘ up/down ‘ buttons did not work so most viewing options not available , bathroom door clearly a cheap 35mm £20.00 low grade choice which was already split where the lock is placed , A further lock on the main door with the same code as the inner door might make sense ,

Lovely big room , very quiet , comfortable fresh bed , very nice bathroom even if some smaller details a bit neglected , stairs manageable but perhaps not so for less able visitors in bad weather ,

Wild Garlic Rooms was a great and very easy experience. With no staff on site, and just a check in code, we could come and go at any time of day or night. The facilities are excellent and the communication is very clear. Our bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was excellent, including the coffee, which is rare for hotels/bandbs.

The entire village is just like going back 30 years. Local shops selling everything you could imagine. Free parking everywhere. The loft suite is just amazing. I booked this for my 21st wedding anniversary and wanted to find something special. This room did not disappoint. The bath was big enough for both of us to relax with a glass of wine from the local shops, took ages to fill mind! The bed was super big and comfy. I slept perfectly. The rainfall shower in the morning was just what I needed. The room was superbly fitted out with everything you could need. Breakfast was the best muselli I have ever had server with 1/3 pint bottles of milk, just like you used to get at school. Overall an amazing break. Highly recommended the Britannia Inn just over the road for your evening meal.

I would say though that this was partly my fault for not sufficiently tuning in to the implications of the restaurant being closed at the start of the week. The Loft room was clean, comfortable and spacious but there was no plug in the bathroom sink and the bath, although lovely, was so big it took an age to fill due to the poor water pressure. The water temperature dial in the shower seemed to have been fixed and was only warm not hot. Self check in worked fine but breakfast being left in the room (as the restaurant was closed) was the most disappointing aspect of our stay. The pastries could not be fresh, as they were left in the room on the previous day and the boxes of cereal were not what I would choose (cocoa pops/shreddies/special k). I presume breakfast is a better experience for those who stay at the end of the week when the restaurant is open. All in all a nice room and a good location but not as good as we were hoping for.
