Nice staff. Possibility to have a relaxing hamman. Delicious dinner.

The hotel is in a great place in Meknes, within easy walking distance of everywhere you would want to visit. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Rooms were basic but beautiful, bed was a little uncomfortable as it was in two distinct pieces.

A small, charming riad in the heart of Meknes. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Breakfast was really nice.

Staff did not show us around the property when we checked into our room, we had to ask how to access the rooftop. There was also construction going on in the main floor and the water access in the room was turned off for a few hours which we were not warned about. The room was clean and breakfast in the morning was good.

Attractive traditional riad, but room was very cold and we couldn’t get heater to work. Also the hot water supply only got warm, not hot enough to shower.
Our room was on street side and was very noisy with traffic throughout the night.

We really enjoyed our short stay at Riad Yacout. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Meals were excellent and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooftop pool is great after a hot day.

Riad Yacoud was fine for an overnight visit. Its handy to the Medina and a number of other locations to visit.
In my first visit to Morocco the bar was set very high in terms of the quality of the Riads i stayed in in Marrakesh and Fez.

Everything was great. East parking, easy walk to museums and Medina. Very responsive staff.

Very good location, right next to Medina. Street parking, we were able to get spot right next to the hotel. Very nice and helpful staff. Great breakfast. Great value.

The Riad is lovely, the reception staff very helpful and so were all the other staff. We had a meal there and was very good also.
We also went for a Hammam and it was very good.

Great place, traditional moroccan rihad (house), great stuff and a 2min walk to the main square. They helped us organize a trip to Volubilis and Moulay Idriss with a great taxi driver (Mohammed, spoke only French and Arabic) that made us eat local food with him when we asked him. It was 2 of us and price was reasonable but can fill the car up with four people I believe.

Nope El Din is a world class exceptional host. Road Yacout is worth visiting.

The staff was very gracious and helpful. The location is located near several historical sites, medina, and Lanham Square. The rooms and hotel are in traditional Moroccan style with heating and air conditioning. I enjoyed two dinners there that were excellent.

The place overall has seen better days. Our room was small, and it had a musty smell. Not a great divide between bathroom and bedroom. AC worked, but just barely. It took hours to cool the room. It was however in a good location and parking was right outside the Riad. I would not recommend it for more than 1 day.

The Riad Yacout is more like a mini-resort than a hotel. From the moment you walk through the main door to check-in, unitl the moment you check-out and leave, this place is wonderfully kept, peaceful and quiet. The room that we stayed in (#10), was spacious and comfortable. The patio on the roof has a small pool to cool off in (it's only about three feet deep but it does the job!). The staff are incredibly kind, helpful and go the extra mile to ensure that you are having a good stay. We would like to offer a special thank you to Fatima for all of her help and guidance. I wish would we could give this place more than 5 stars because it deserves it!

Close proximity to the Square, which is the highlight of Meknes.

Fantastic typical Moroccan styling in optimal location near the Medina and all the sights of Meknes, yet with convenient parking.

Lovely RIAD, very convenient to find, and good breakfast We were greeted with a pot of mint tea and a smile. Highly recommended.

Hospitality was wonderful, food & service in the dining room very good. We enjoyed the hammam. Only drawbacks: musty smell in one room, A/C not working in another and a large, loud party in the dining room the second night until well after 11 pm, not conducive to rest and relaxation in our rooms just above.

Well I woke up to 5 huge cockroaches in my room. That is unacceptable.

Riad Yacout was a perfectly nice hotel in a great location. The reception and staff were friendly and dinner was delicious although sadly sans alcohol! Our room faced the square which proved to be quite noisy with motorbikes until quite late. There is a Mosque close by and the call to prayer was a pleasant relief.

Great location as it is on the medina external wall, right next to the main gate of Bab Mansour, which is more convenient for taxi drop off or pick up than being inaide the medina. Rooms are cold but there is AC with heat, sufficiently clean room and shower. Wifi was not always working properly: i had less issues with my iphone but my husband couldn’t connect with his Samsung. Breakfast is amazing and plentiful with bread, yogurt, cheese, pancakes, boiled egg, fruit cup, orange juice and coffee or tea.

The Riad was fine, staff wasn’t very friendly. The sink only has hot water working, the place needs some tlc. Breakfast was only ok, coffee was very weak.

Staff were not very helpful when we checked in. There was no hot water in the bathroom to shower with and the blow dryer didn’t work. Also when we were checking out it took an extended long time which made us late to start our day. The man who was supposed to be helping was on the phone and he didn’t quite tell us what we are waiting for.

Nice hotel close to major sites just outside the medina.

Staff friendly and try hard, but hotel run down and the rooms advertised as exceptional are substandard

This was one of the worst nights I have ever spent in a hotel. The open courtyard in the center of the riad was covered with a plastic tarp. The wind blew all night long and the shaking tarp made it sound like the entire building was falling apart. I could not sleep and in desperation I had to wear headphones all night long. The hotel is well located but the staff was indifferent and uncaring unlike almost every other place we stayed in Morocco. The rooms were small but adequate.

The location was great and the staff were helpful but we got a very small room. The rooms were so close to each other that you could hear everything going on in the next room. The food was excellent.

Great riad, very close to the medina, easy parking nearby, clean and beautiful, quiet and nice staff

It was my first stop in Morocco, and Riad Yacout was a great way to be introduced to the country. Staff was unfailingly pleasant, the riad was clean, comfortable and very handsome. Location was a major plus. The real best asset of the riad was the manageress, Layla. Personable, multi-lingual and a thorough professional, Layla was the perfect ambassador for Morocco. I consider myself fortunate to have met her and to have stayed at Riad Yacout.

great place to stay in a beautiful square in the heart of the old town and right across from the major souks. There is parking around the square but it may not clear out until late evening. Place is very difficult to find in a car until you have been there. Online maps and our GPS did not list the address. We ended up parking on the edge of the medina and taking a taxi there the first time.

Hotel located within the Old walls. Easy ride by Taxi from the train station. Room was suitable for easy access to sights of the Old city. Continental breakfast was served and the coffee was good.

We only stayed one night but the Riad was excellent with very nicely decorated and restored elements. The staff were super friendly and the location can't be beat!
