Great weekend getaway

Great hotel and everything is walking distance.

Old and worn out,,,lacking in cleanliness and upkeep. Lobby windows so dirty can't see out, lobby chairs torn and worn out. The beds and linen ok. Be sure you ask for street view or you will be put on first floor, felt like in a dungeon. Great location and safe, walkable to shops, most are not open on Monday...wouldn't stay at this hotel again.

Hotel policy is to clean room every other day. Unfortunately we received no such service during our 3 night stay.

Noise from right outside our window due to construction and dirty floors were ridiculous. I have stayed here before and it was not this awful. The location is fine and parking is easy, but our room overlooked a building about 15 ft away and the hammering started before 7am along with loud talking right below our window. The room seemed fine but when I went to put my shoes on, I couldn’t believe how dirty my feet were just from walking on the floor while I was getting ready for the day. That felt gross and the proximity of the construction workers, heavy equipment and all so close to us was unacceptable really. My son didn’t feel safe there so he couldn’t sleep either. We love coming to Fairhope and this hotel is super convenient to the town and the Bay. We stay at Hampton Inn often and have come to expect at a minimum that we will have a clean and comfortable room and that staff will be professional and helpful. Lately that has not always been the case.

Cute property ! Loved walking around downtown. Fairhope is an awesome little town.

The perfect landing spot for an up close stay in Fairhope. Well located, we walked to four stellar restaurants located within two blocks. Breakfast was provided each morning and delicious. Our room was cool and comfortable…also quiet. The staff was friendly and wanted your stay to be memorable. Bonus is there is a free parking deck just out the back door.

The hotel was in bad conditions. Everything needs updating, super old and nasty carpet, old furnishings, needs painting. The surrounding area was very nice on the street, but hotel unsatisfactory!!

Two years in a row we stayed here, each time more run down and not clean. Stay somewhere else.

Located downtown which is convenient. Parking was good but hotel is well worn and rooms need updating. Breakfast was good as all Hampton Inns.

Great service and convenient location. Though a little dated it was very clean and the morning breakfast was delicious with readily available hot coffee! Will stay there again!

Hotel was in a convenient location in the heart of Fairhope Alabama. Staff was friendly, building was neat and clean. Unfortunately, our room view was an adjacent brick wall but we didn't spend a lot of time in the room. Room was quiet,bed was comfortable, complimentary breakfast was great!

Comfortable older property, in need of refurbishment. Breakfast was fine, but not above average. TV was not working, but management fixed promptly. In general, a well run establishment, but badly needs furniture and fixtures replaced.

This property feels like it’s from the 1980s. It is in dire need of renovations and updating. However, the location is excellent and the staff is very nice and quite helpful. At least the parking is free. Even so, it’s a worn out 1980s type property charging 21st Century prices.

Located in lovely downtown Fairhope. The staff was friendly and professional. If convenience is what you’re looking for, then look no more. Only negative for me personally was the towel track placement in the accessible bathroom.It is located directly above the grab bar, making the grab bar barely useable or safe for a person with mobility issues.

Check in was great, employees super friendly. The room was not clean. Bugs on back of couch, bugs on floor, greasy looking stuff on table and desk. Non refundable room or we'd have left.

First impressed when you walk into the hotel is weathered upholstery in the lobby)breakfast area. It was really unattractive and why it hadn't been fixed is perplexing. In addition, we forgot spare socks so bought new ones and they became filthy walking around the room for a couple hours..we threw them away. The staff is outstanding! Everyone we encountered greeted us and was friendly with good recommendations. Beds comfortable, bathroom clean. Breakast good with several choices. Outstanding location right in the middle of everything. Upkeep would make it a 10.

Needs a lot of upgrades. Torn carpet, old furniture and I’m surprised they have not lost the Hampton franchise due to standards. AC did not work in room but they moved us to a suite that was in the same dated shape. I did tip the front desk and maintenance guy $20 each. I’m sure they have a tough job with complaints.
