Excellent hotel service and location.
Basic accommodation but very comfortable. I visit marrakech a few times a year and stay at b7dget hotels to five star hotels.
I really did not have any complaint apart from the plate of breakfast needs to be bigger and coffee needs to be hotter.

Convenient location, easy reach to restaurants and sight seeing. Staff helpful even though there is a language barrier. Rooms decent, air con and Wi-Fi very good. Supermarket close by which is useful. Only downside is the limited options at breakfast as it can get very repetitive and boring when you are staying longer. Pool small but good and cleaned daily

Property was clean and the Staff was very helpful when I needed to switch rooms. Overall great time

The hotel is very good, and everything in it is good. The only problem is the noise coming from the street. The noise is so loud that it becomes exhausting.
The balcony has two doors, yet the noise is still clearly loud.

First point is that this is a 3* hotel not a four as advertised on hotels.com. It looks rather grander in the photos than real life.
The hotel is located at a junction on Ave Mohamed V, next to a somewhat larger 4* hotel. There is some traffic noise.
There is a SMALL outdoor swimming pool on the roof.
Rooms were clean if a little dated, with prompt and efficient house-keeping. Bed was comfortable.
Staff on front desk were very helpful.
The hotel is near a large shopping centre, and less than 15 minutes walk from the station. There are various shops and cafes nearby. The Medina is around 25 minutes walk.
It's a good value and convenient hotel for the new town, but not a luxury hotel, which is most people's definition of 4*

The hotel is in a great location in Gueliz which has some good amenities around the area and has a swimming pool at the top which I liked and a sitting area as well.
Only thing I didn't like was how small the washing basin was and when I had a shower the water leaked on the bathroom floor making it quite wet when coming out

It’s 3 star hotel not 4 as stated on hotels.com.
First floor facing the street, very loud it was if the windows was open but wasn’t.
Very stuffy in the room like someone had smoked or lots of dust

This property was listed incorrectly as a 4 star on Expedia website. When we got there it was a 3 star. The hotel was shabby and no one could speak English apart from the manager who wasn’t there! We had booked 2 king size beds but got 2 double beds as the rooms were very small and compact. The shower was broken. Total rip off.

The hotel was very nice, situated at an amazing location in Gueliz Marrakech. Amazing tradditional food places and supermarket just a few minutes away from the hotel. The staff of the hotel was very kind and helpful who gave us an amazing service throughout our stay. The roof top pool on the terrace of the hotel was a just a bonus. The friends and I thoroughly enjoyed the stay and were highly pleased with the comfort and the service the hotel had to offer. If we were to travel again to Marrakech would definitely consider Hotel Mont Gueliz for our stay.

We stayed here as a a family of 12 in 3 rooms over 3 floors (wanted to be on the same floor but couldn't accommodate as rooms not big enough). The location of the hotel is on a cross road junction so can get noisy all night (as the locals love using their car horns). The rooftop swimming pool is unmanned and so can be dangerous if you've got small children and was not clean.
Positives - the staff were always willing to assist with any queries re room, service, excursions etc. All our rooms had a balcony so you could enjoy the atmosphere and ambiance of the locality. In addition we could see the amazing Atlas Mountains from our rooms (amazing views)
There is a bus stop directly outside the hotel which takes you to the central square, masjid and souks

A well placed hotel approximately 2 miles from the main square. You can walk into the town center, but the no.1 bus just across the road also meant it was a short ride away (4dh). The hotel is on a main road, so if you are a light sleeper the traffic noise could be a problem. The room was okay, didnt have the whoa factor but then youre only sleeping there, and it was cleaned every day and had air con. The hotel also has good WiFi links. I like my tea in the morning, and the room didnt have a kettle or cups. So every time we wanted hot water we had to call reception who would either bring up an insulated jug full or two glasses worth of hot water. Cant fault their helpfulness, one night I was unwell and the guys on reception jumped too and assisted me, so Im really happy on that point. Only had breakfast once which was okay, but it did surprisingly lack fruit and was very carbs heavy. Reception was helpful pointing out places to go, and they organised the taxi ride to the airport which was 140Dh not 120Dh pp as quoted.

I picked this hotel because they advertise having a gym. They don't. They also advertise cable tv and they don't. Check in is at noon but the room wasn't ready so I had to wait. They also gave extra taxes at checkout. One front desk lady was nice but another super rude and annoyed she had to get change for me . Also advertise sauna and they didn't.

The hotel itself was great, though there was one big mix up that caused quite a struggle for our stay.Expedia booked our rooms through another booking agency, and doesn't work directly through Hotel Mont Gueliz, so upon our arrival to the hotel our reservations were not listed in the Hotel's computer. They needed a rather large deposit for our first night's stay since they had no proof of our reservation (my confirmation email through Expedia wasn't enough for them)Expedia needs to find a way to work directly with this hotel so mix ups like this don't happen.

Everything was fine except the internet connection. I stayed at Mont Gueliz for five nights and i could never enter the internet. Even thougt it said on hotels.com (before booking) that it was part of the package. For me it means i didn´t get what i paid for. And i had to spend time and money elsewhere to enter the internet.

There was a building site next to the hotel building and so noise during the day. In the evening, I could hear doors closing in other rooms on different floors - got woken up a few times every night I was there.
The location was on the moan road but quite far away from the attractions.

Total disaster from start to end. The reception was extremely unfriendly and refused to give me a room although I had booked and pre-paid the room using Hotels.com app for iPhone. I was on the phone with Hotels.com and a very helpful person sorted out the situation after speaking to the reception. The room was tacky and not properly cleaned. Very noisy where you could here both the elevator, hotel guests and the rest of Marrakech just outside the window. Will never ever stay there again.

desk staff was very rude to guests using embarrassing comments to wait in line, not even a hello or welcome.
I paid for one room two double beds for 4, but desk staff was insisting i have reservation for two single beds for 2. luckily i had my IPad with me to access my reservation and prove it. the employee didn't care about what I think or said.
all towels and bed sheets were wet when delivered.
no parking at the hotel, and the staff refused to make suggestion to where to park citing responsibility issues.
