We have never stayed here before. Our usual places were booked Despite a graduation and a cheerleader competition everything went smoothly. The staff were very nice.

Loved the hot chocolate bar, the breakfast was amazing, water at the front desk was great. Miss Evelyn was great, made up all feel at home, she is a great employee

They were out of juice for breakfast. Only had milk and hot beverages. Could have at least put a pitcher of water.out. or better yet a pitcher.of juice.. very nice staff. Room carpet had bald spots in it. But.it was sufficient. For the price just expected more.

Your front desk staff is helpful but there’s a problem with communication. Even after telling them I want daily housecleaning on Thursday when I checked in, Friday when I left for the day, Saturday when I left for the day & Sunday, they still didn’t get it right.

For a rate of $269, I expected better. A dog had eaten our sofa, holes in the closet door, gum and stains on the sofa and carpet and the desk lamp had begun to rust. UNACCEPTABLE

The rooms were dirty. Had to be relocated because the room smelled like a dog kennel. Door knobs falling off doors. Furniture dirty, stained, and tattered. Stoves not working. Mattresses on beds stained, uncomfortable, old, and need to be replaced. This hotel needs to be renovated, and cleaned. Horrible experience! Would not recommend this hotel to anyone!

Our air conditioning was leaking and the floor was soaked for a two to three feet around it. I was surprised that we were not offered a different room or a discount. Brett disappointed.

Front desk staff couldn't have been nicer and more accomodating. Even helped with directions to Mountain Health Arena.

This hotel is in need of updating. There were many little problems in our room - the heater/ac sounded like a tractor trailer was driving right past our room, the bathroom faucet was loose, no tissues, no garbage can in the bathroom.
We had our dog with us, so I spent a great amount of time outside. There were dog droppings everywhere. Walking on the grass was a challenge and I wouldn't do it in the dark.
On the plus side - the ladies who took care of the breakfast service were so friendly, upbeat, and helpful.

There were bed bugs in my bed. I did let the front desk, as well as, the manager know. I was in room 200, which is a suite,... All the manager said is we will call pest control 😂 Yet, they needed me out right at noon because the room was booked for that day!

Great property, enjoyed Marshall U and downtown Huntington. The coffee 24/7 was a plus.

Somebody is doing a great job teaching the employees at this location how to smile and converse with people/guests.
I'm not sure I've been at a hotel in the last 5 years that had such pleasant workers! WOW what a difference smiles make!! Thank you. We will return to this location when we are in the Huntington area.

I didn’t have the housekeeping services for 4 days during my staying.
No vacum.
No garbage removal
No even toilet paper were replaced.
I had to come to front desk to take toilet papers and clean towels 4 nights!
I will never be at this hotel again, or any other “by Marriot”

Bedroom was very small when you open the sofa. We got a king and sofa for 3, we had 2 towels, 2 spoons, etc. Shower curtain loaded with mold and pool has a very unsafe loose handle. The service was good, i need it more blankets and i got them right away.

They messed up our room reservation, Sheets were stained and ripped. Replacement sheets stained also. Disappointing stay.

Well we were disappointed in the room. No fridge or microwave, coffee pot, no extra tp. Bed was uncomfortable and pillows were VERY used up. No nightstand on other side of bed. It was clean, however very inconvenient for the money.

They had a washer and dryer that I could pay with my debit card. I really needed to wash my clothes after a week of driving. My room door was open when I arrived. But the staff assured me it was the cleaning lady. I was too tired to move to another room. The place is kind of old. But ok condition. I would stay again at a lower price.

Rooms were small but co for table, especially the bed, good shower.

Front desk was very polite, courteous, and professional. I stay here every time I travel to WV (2 times a month usually), and have been very happy with the service and rooms. cost is also great for the anemeties included.

The property was great ,but will never use Expedia again, we booked rooms for a wrestling tournament in Huntington and several of us who used Expedia received emails that we were overbooked and the reservations were made at a lesser hotel. When I called the lesser hotel they had no idea what I was talking about and when I called back to the original hotel everything was fine. I emailed Expedia never heard a damn thing, this happened to other parents as well

Selected a King Suite, bed was a Queen. Called the hotel 3 days before and asked for a room away from elevator and on side of building away from interstate. Our room wrapped around elevator. Our room was as close to Interstate as possible. Noise all night long. Both Curtains very very hard to open and when I did both Windows were so dirty the sunlight could not enter. Breakfast was terrible, man working was great. This is not Marriott quality. Large crack in tile in tub patched. It just did not feel clean. Microwave dirty on inside and top outside of Microwave never cleaned, filthy. No do not disturb sign in room. Asked for one at front desk. None available. When we checked out no person at front desk. I waited, said hello, etc I wanted a printed copy of receipt finally left. No one ever showed.

Stayed here while visiting my granddaughter. The room was comfortable and clean. Was able to cook in the room and all dishes, pans and utensils were provided. I felt safe while here. Would stay here again as it is also close to Marshall Unniversity
