On arrival the place was overrun by patched mongrel mob members. It seemed like they lived there, kids running all around the place, parked all over the driveway. Way too unsafe to take my daughter there. We had already paid but we left and stayed somewhere else. Guests should be warned of this before we book!

we did not like the wet bathroom floor from the dripping skylight condensation.
I slipped a few times on night visits to toilet.
it was unpleasant getting cold, wet feet; socks, footwear...
and having to mop-up the puddles throughout the night.
no bedside lamp
good heat pump

I’m unsure if it’s being used for housing shortage, but there were a lot of people everywhere, the rooms are not sound proof and would benefit from this upgrade.

It was okay for the 3 days i was and severed its purpose, Only i thing i noticed is the pillow cases were all creased up and were not ironed, those Duvets were pretty heavy.

The bedroom had no ceiling light- it did have a mystery switch that did nothing. The bunk beds were loose, the archway had been filled in and a door inserted with large gaps. The back door did not unlock although a key was provided. The bunk bedroom has an exposed wire that obviously used to have a second light bulb but has been removed. There was no heating in the lounge area and the only heater was a wall mounted ceramic heater in the "master bedroom", the oven was mounted wooden pallet that was leaning. Fridge was loud, windows were weepy in the mornings. Wouldnt book again. - Mike

we have used this motel before and liked it enough to return. However because of my oversight we ended up in an upstairs unit which made life rather unpleasant as l am an
80year old Female with heart & joint problems and one of the others in our party had breathing issues. However the unit itself was a disappointment - the smoke alarm was
missing, the tea towel was paper thin with a hole in it. The bath towel was fraying at the edges. There were 3 people and only 1 face cloth. Will not be returning to this motel

Very clean. Friendly staff. Abit tired facilities. No smoke alarms in room.

Good an affordable price, the only thing was when we opened our room was stinky like cigarettes.
4.0
It was easy to check in and check out. Plenty of parking. Staff were smiling and accommodating.
What was annoying was that the building wasn't soundproof. The toilet flushing was so loud that one can hear conversations in the room next door. No airconditioner in the room.

The accommodation was spacious and comfortable but lacked adequate cooking facilities. I felt it was unhygienic not to have a separate basin for washing dishes. We were concerned that the fire doors were in need of repair and there were no smoke detectors or evacuation instructions. The swimming pool needed cleaning although good to have one.

We stayed one night in Hastings to break up an otherwise longer journey. The motel was OK, probably one of the cheapest but nothing to write home about. No air conditioning but they did provide a fan.

The bed was at right angle to the lights and hot points, better to have the bed head between the lights but room may be a factor. the shower run out of puff when needing cut back temperature. Apart from that really good and clean at a reasonable price. Close to shops Happy to stay again.

A lot of seasonal workers around but felt safe. My room was basic but clean and tidy.
1.0
It was cheap but it obviously caters to homeless people and large groups of seasonal workers who were noisy and inconsiderate . I would never stay there again. I was kept awake by a party next door until 2am even after asking them to please be quiet. The worst motel ever.

Our room was clean and beds are comfy but the whole place is extremely run down. I booked it for the pool and the pool was out of order and green - during school holidays! Was disappointed.

Although the unit we stayed in (#13) was very dated, and needs a complete renovation, the unit was clean and tidy. There are catches on the windows so they can be locked open, but unfortunately anyone can put an arm in to unlock the catch, and climb in. The bathroom and kitchen windows are up high and have security stays. The area seemed safe and was very quiet at night - the bed was extremely comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed for breakfast. Carparking was ideal, just outside our door. We noted the kitchen vinyl flooring has been patched, and we felt one of the bathroom walls need replacing. We attended a concert and this was fine for what we needed (somewhere to stay the night after the concert). The TV had good reception, and a couch in the room was an added bonus, as was the dining table and 2 chairs. Didn't have time to use the swimming pool or the laundry. Ideal location close to Hastings CBD.

The property was run down and dirty
Furniture was substandard or broken
The place suits demolition

Shower cracked and water had started to cause rot.
Room shabby and tired.
Over priced for what it was.

Wonderful helpful hosts. Room very clean and tidy but needed a major facelift.
4.0
Hot shower. Kitchen with all necessary items ie pots & pans, toaster.
The trip hazard going into the bedroom one had to be aware of. Didn’t like having a heated blanket in place as it was uncomfortable to sleep on.
Maintenance on the building seems to be an issue, especially internally.

Friendly and easy checkin. Basic motel with a comfortable bed and good shower.

I got what i paid for, 4 walls a roof and a bed. Cant complain :) staff were welcoming

The grounds were average, Not happy about staying in motel where there are homeless people. We had friends who came around for a coffee and there were only two cups, luckily we had a couple of take away cups which we got out of the rubbish and washed. Usually in motels there are 4 of cups, plates, cultery and glasses. A little disappointed

Good value, reasonably priced compared with other motels. Very happy.

Entering the property looked liked it had been abandoned. The front portion of the dwelling look liked it had had no maintenance, no care for several years.
Basics were missing in the room-
no shampoo in the room.
no welcome note from the owners on the table, nor any folder with information about the motel, shops, restaurants and facilities.

Thank you was an awsome stay
