We have been all over France for three weeks. We have stayed only one or two nights at each lodging, so we have stayed in many different hotels. This was my favorite place to stay. It is very comfortable (beds and air conditioning) and decorated sooooo lovely. The town of Murs was quiet and so worth visiting. The views are wonderful too. We couldn't be happier with our choice to stay here. As an American it is also hard to grasp how long these villages have existed.

The only complaint I would have is that our room did not have an air conditioner. Otherwise, everything was perfect; the hotel owner was very kind and helpful :)

Charming B&B , Isabelle is a fantastic hostess. Good breakfast, Nice surroundings and probably the best place to start the exploration of the Luberon.

This small privately run hotel was a real discovery. The tiny village of Murs is situated in a gorgeous mountain area of the Vaucluse, within easy driving access of the "villages perchés" of the Luberon, Roussillon & Mont Ventoux. The hotel has only 8 rooms. It has been beautifully furnished & equipped by the present owner - Isabelle was a most charming and attentive host and she could not have done more to make us feel comfortable and at home. The hotel also has an excelent small bistro, which is justifiably very popular with visitors and local residents alike. Our room was very comfortable, with fabulous views out over the hilly landscape towards Gordes. There are no other facilities in the small hamlet of Murs - this suited us ideally as a quiet characterful base for enjoying this beautifu area of Provence. A car is of course essential.

We had a very pleasant stay here.We based ourselves in the tiny village of Murs for three days to explore the area and were pleased to find a reasonably priced option in what is an eye wateringly expensive area of Provence. We were very well looked after by the friendly staff who went out of their way to assist us and particularly appreciated the set menu evening meals featuring local produce in the small restaurant. If you are looking for somewhere clean and simple with French character you will enjoy it here and there were a range of guests staying eg young families, cyclists etc passing through. The owner is particular to ensure that her individual stamp is on every aspect of your stay, that may not be for everyone but it makes for an authentic local visit and certainly we hope to return in the future.

The staff is super friendly. We had dinner right there on the front terrace and it was very good. Mira is a tiny town- this was the only hotel and restaurant but we loved it!

This is a lovely little hotel in a peaceful hilltop village in Provence - quite idyllic really. Lovely room and the restaurant and bar looked very cosy although were not open the evening we were there. Had it been, we would definitely have eaten there. Very gracious and pleasant host who was very helpful. Very much enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again. No parking at hotel but very close by along road.

We were welcomed when we arrived rather late by the hostess and showed to our room. While the bed was small, it was comfortable and the room was clean. The shower handle was a bit off, and it had difficulty staying in place. Breakfast could use some improvement as there are few options. The coffee and the hot choc were lukewarm and bland. Other than that, it is a lovely town.

A very quaint boutique hotel not far from Roussillon. The village is small and the sidewalks toll up at 2100 but the staff adn service was great. The attached restaurant is not rated but it the food was a good as any we had in even rated restaurants. I little off the beaten path but well worth the diversion.

Our stay at Relais de Silence Le Crillion was incredible. This is a very nice, quiet quaint hotel in an 18 century building with modern amenities. We had a nice balcony off our single room where we could read, eat a snack and just relax or just take a cute set of stairs down to take a walk along the streets of the village of Murs. The hotel staff was fantastic and super friendly! They went out of their way to help us in every way. Our experience could not have been better.

2 nights in May.
Hotel is on one of the more northern towns on the Luberon triangle. Service is friendly. Good for a couple of nights.

Owner is cold, impolite and very direct. Had an argument about taxes that had been added to our account. Told him I think his attitude is bad, he said that he doesn't care. I asked him whether he cares if guests are happy or not, he said that he doesn't care. He said he travels all over the world and that he is only here in this hotel to have some peace, so if some guests aren't happy, he doesn't care. During our stay he also reminded us that there is absolutely no eating or drinking in the rooms of the hotel. Ridiculous! Avoid this place or suffer the same consequences. There are lots of better options close by. The best thing about the hotel is the drive away from the hotel.

The operators of Le Crillon are proud of their restaurant, and it is quite satisfactory, though somewhat overpriced and a bit pretentious. We stayed three nights at the hotel and found we were not excited about returning to the restaurant night after night, even though it is the only one within miles of Murs. The hotel is really unremarkable and decorated more to be quaint than comfortable.
