The staff were consistently great. The hotel is a short walk from the center of town and it seems that it’s on the route for the major tours to perform their pick ups.
4.3
Staff were very helpful and provided information that helped our self guided tour of the area
4.3
Walking distance from bus station. Friendly staff. Close to several restaurants.
4.3
Very nice place and the receptionist Ale and Alice made my stayed a pleasure and help us with everything
4.3
This property was very clean and had friendly staff. The bed was comfortable. It was walking distance from restaurants and shops. Only negative, the heat in the hallway so hot it made our room hot. We slept with an open window each night.
4.3
The service was terrible. It took us more than 30 minutes to check-in due to inefficient system and personnel. The check out time was 10am and when we requested for 11am check out they said it was not possible and the way they replied to our request was terrible. Also, please don't try their happy hour menu. That was the worst burger that I ever had.
4.3
Poor management.
4.3
Very clean, great location and near to walk to the Main Street.
Receptionist and people at the restaurant very nice and attentive
4.3
Quite and clean, two stories and no elevator.
4.3
I loved the terrace outside! The room was big enough for two. It was easy to get the bus terminal. Next door, there was a nice restaurant also.
The water pressure in bathroom was very low and the heating system was extremely noisy.
+ Basic breakfast.

I had a great stay at this hotel. It is not right in the middle of town but also not an overly long walk - plus it was quiet and on a lovely piece of property. The room was nothing fancy but clean and quite large. Bed was fine. The young man at the desk was extremely helpful and friendly. I would stay here again.
4.3
The sound isolation is too bad
4.3
Helpful staff but no water pressure at all in 2 rooms. Restaurant limited go elsewhere. Hallways dark to conserve energy.
Good views and near to the bus station but not too close to town without steep hill and rugid roads.
4.3
Basic but very comfrotable hotel. Close to town for all your tourist needs with a couple of fantastic restaurants just next door
4.3
The hotel was very nice. There was a patio and a large green space. The continental breakfast was good and started early enough, so one could eat before any tours. There was a restaurant on site and it was a short walk to main street, restaurants and supermarket. Very good stay.
4.3
Very clean and nice view
4.3
The hotel was very welcoming. We chose the location because it was close to the bus station. It is a bit of a walk to the main street action.
4.3
Very helpful staff. Clean room with view across green lawn and a peek at the lake. Restaurant tables needed a good clean. Preferably before setting for the next guests. Excellent value at $86 Canadian.
4.3
Nice and clean. Rooms are very thin walled. Can hear neighbor
In the next room talking for about an hour.
4.3
Convenient location to explore the glaciers. Very friendly and helpful staff. Basic room, maybe a little outdated, but very clean. Overall, I do recommend.

The personnel were very helpful and polite. The place was clean. We really liked it

One morning there was no staff available at the breakfast area. The receptionist came to fill the bufet table for us, but obviously she couldn't handle alone. I offered my help, and eventually I stayed alone to finish serving the breakfast to polish group that I didnt know at all.
Otherwise hotel was good, bit of walk from the center.

The hotel is located 10 minutes away from the town centre, a short walk up the hill. The rooms would need some updating but the housekeeping was excellent. The breakfast buffet is vary basic and could benefit from some yogurts, fresh fruits (not only apples).
The lounge/restaurant offered a great view of the lake and its a great place to enjoy a drink in the evening and admire the scenery.
What stood out was the staff, even though they were not fluent in English they were extremely helpful and pleasant.
A good basic hotel for the location.

The hotel is beautiful. The team helps with every question and request. Very nice. A 15-minute walk to the center. The hotel has two floors without an elevator. The team offers to raise the equipment. All in all, very nice.

Like a typical Argentina hotel, very basic, overpriced, not very comfortable.

The service of this hotel is DISASTER.
There was a change of picking time of my tour, and tour company informed that to a reception of this hotel, but no one informed me about the change, so finally I needed to take a Glaciar by taxi.
They always argued that it was not the fault of the hotel, and didn’t have a posture to cooperate. Very bad experience. I do not recommend you to use this hotel.
Very bad service.

value for money in el Calafate is generally not good. They know tourists come no matter what as their attraction, the glaciars is so great that the accommodation doesn't matter. At this hotel, the rooms are outdated. I further found a heating facility in my bathroom that I couldn't change as the knob was missing and the button for the toilet flushing was also not there. Told the front desk staff, he made me leave the key. When I returned in the evening, nothing was repaired. Also, I was on a tour to Torres del Paine and knew, I would returning late. So I asked the front desk staff if the kitchen was really closing at 11pm or if they then could still prepare something simple (thinking sandwich). She said yes. When I returned that day at 11.10pm, the same woman was sitting there and told me that the kitchen was closed since 11pm! So much for guest service... And then the Wi-Fi: It was hardly working, very bad connection. The front desk lady said this was everywhere in el Calafate. Well, a friend of mine stayed in a hostel and here Wi-Fi worked just fine...

Marcella at reception was most helpful planning our visit to the glaciers.

Good hotel in terms of value for money, location, very helpful staff. The only downside is a VERY poor breakfast. Out of the 8 hotels we stayed in during our trip this was the most basic, poor selection, no warm options, one day they even run out of toast bread, didn't "refill" often enough so when big groups came down, we had to wait and then be quick :-)
