Beautiful rooms that managed to have modern convenience but old charm. They were furnished with tasteful and high-quality wood furniture and fixtures rather than the rather plastic uniformity one experiences in high-quality hotels elsewhere. The room was small but so well designed that it felt big; everything I wanted to do in it was highly doable. There was an internal glass door between the very small entrance foyer of my room and the main sleeping area; I didn't take advantage of that door (didn't need it...) but I *loved* having it.
The staff were friendly, helpful, and patient with a somewhat confused American visitor (me). I felt very at home from the start of my visit.
I will definitely come back to this hotel if and when I revisit Brno.

Lovely hotel with a lovely older feel about it. The room and welcome were great, breakfast was great but best of all was the beer hall and restaurant. If you go to Brno then book this hotel.

This is a very charming hotel. I was on the 3 floor and the Wi-Fi was terrible.
I am a college professor and needed to conduct class online, but the Wi-Fi was so bad I had to cancel. This was a big disappointment.

Wonderful wonderful! Great breakfast and elevator directly to your floor/room. Parking was a few doors down via an elevator , but it was a smooth process. The Beer is fantastic since the hotel is park of the brewery. Front desk folks were very helpful and informative .The hotel is directly in the city center and walkable to everything ........... I will returnt

Brno is a charming, surprising and beautiful city. It is also very easy to walk to most of the main tourist sites, if you are staying at a centrally located hotel. I cant imagine a better location than the Hotel Pegas Brno. It was a first class accommodation as well, and the staff was quite friendly. After a long day of sightseeing, the free drinks in my mini-fridge were most welcome, especially the house beer, which was quite good!

We felt breakfasts were a bit poor. Giving us free bottles in the fridge was a nice gesture. Food in the restaurant was very good especially the garlic soup! We would definitely stay there again.

Stayed here for one night. Hotel well situated to explore town. If you are arriving by car it would be worthwhile enquiring about on site underground parking beforehand as when we arrived it was all booked & we had to park elsewhere (we used Domini multi storey which cost us 440 Czech Crown for approximately 18hours overnight). Room was comfortable but aircon was broken. Fan supplied but room was still too warm during the night. Toiletries supplied in en suite included hair/body wash, cotton buds & facial cleansing pads. Breakfast was ok with a small choice of hot and cold items. We dined in the hotel bar/restaurant area which was very busy but service prompt and food freshly made. Overall an enjoyable stay.

I was very impressed with the service. After reporting a bad smell in the first room I was placed in they changed me to another one straightaway which was bigger and perfect. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The restaurant is also very good, it serves great food and freshly brewed beers.

Terrific hotel in great neighborhood Brno center Svobida Square area. Historic, readobably priced, clean, remodeled and Pegas beer is served there. A brewery from the 14th century. The receptionist Renata was very helpful and friendly. Overall 5 and would return when back in Brno, also a beautiful old, but new Moravian city.

The only thing I would say is I wouldn't stay again in this hotel in the middle of a heat wave, there is no air conditioning, they did provide us with fans but they were not that effective and the heat in the room was unbearable at times.

Very hot when we were there. No AC so you had to open the door which overlooked the sitting area for the restaurant next door. Very noisy until about 11 pm.

Nice clean room with modern furnishings. Breakfast was good with a variety of choices. Bathroom was clean and modern with the only issue being lack of space at the sink. For me, the worst part of the stay was the entrance to the hotel. There is only one entrance, and it involves having to walk through an alcove where numerous people are always smoking.

An excellent city centre location this is a historic hotel with character and the Pegas brew house and bar on the ground floor. Fantastic selection of beers brewed on site. Good breakfast and helpful staff. Car parking near by. Recommend

I have stayed at the Pegas about two years ago and they have really improved! The staff is great, breakfast has undergone a major upgrade. Internet is free as well as the items in the refrigerator. I will stay there on my next trip to Brno.

Easy walk to the center, clean room and free mini bar, brewery downstairs. Standard 3 star, no real faults, parking was a bit difficult. You get what you pay for.

Good hotel and excellent central location to stay in with nearby tram stations. Easily walkable from the Hotel Grand if arriving by bus.
Being on top of the Pegas bar/restaurant is handy if you want somewhere informal in the evening, though beware that it's very busy around 8pm. Very little, if any noise from the bar below either.

Hotel Pegas is a lovely little place. It's ideally located just off Freedom Square in the centre of Brno. We stayed at Hotel Pegas during a holiday in Brno for the Czech MotoGP and, despite everywhere being very busy, the service remained at a very standard. The staff were very helpful at all times, and the food offered for breakfast was comprehensive and very tasty. I'd definitely stay again if I ever return to Brno.

Very nice experience. We found that the brew pub downstairs was really the best traditional restaurant in Brno.

I have stayed at this hotel before, but the trip was very rushed. On this occasion I was able to relax a bit more. The room I had was nice, on the second floor with direct access to a roof top outdoor area. It was a good size room, but had no A/C and having access to an outdoor space, there was a door rather than a window, meaning it could not be left open for fresh air. The breakfast choice was limited. However, the bar/restaurant/micro brewery downstairs was excellent and great value.

Brilliant location - follow their directions and drive into the pedestrian zone - very secure parking. You need to be guided into the car lift. Friendly helpful staff.

Very satisfied, but room was rather warm, and window needed to be kept open. Room had no artificial means of cooling. Place was newly renovated, and bathroom was generous size.

I enjoyed my stay here, it's a little more expensive than other hotels we stayed in in the Czech Republic, but worth the extra, the rooms are spotless, location great and staff very helpful and friendly, so overall a good experience. Brno is a lovely town and if I go there again I will stay at Pegas.
