Great hotel in an interesting and busy part of the city. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and in good condition. The beds are excellent. The staff are excellent in keeping the rooms serviced. The hotel is modern, light and has an air of calmness surrounding the building. The reception staff are friendly, professional and knowledgeable about their city. The surrounding area of the city has a good mix of cafes, bars and restaurants together with an interesting mix of shops. The theatre is a five minute walk from the hotel as Plaza Santa Ana.

Travelled across the world in different continents. It's the first time I write a review . I was utterly disappointed by the hotel and service. The first night i was put in a room facing corridor . Heard the neighbours banging on their door till 4am .went downstairs to service said they couldn’t do anything for the night . To come back next day .he mentioned a room number that would be more favourable . Did not sleep . The next early morning , they told me that room was not available anymore. Went i asked the receptionist the name of the manager . I quote “ were all managers “ . Give me a break , Worse service ever . They showed me a room on first floor with an odour . At this point i just wanted to leave and not stay the 2nd day . Receptionist told me it was too late & that they took the pmt of 2nd night . They refused to refund it . They took me on top floor room , which was even worse in cleanliness and smell . Ended up sleeping in my siblings room that was more decent . Basically i paid for the 2nd night room for nothing .

Very modern room amenities, very clean and larger rooms than other Catalonia Hotels I’ve stayed. Nice central patio for lunch, drinks and kick-back. Friendly staff and very helpful.

The hotel was amazing, the only thing that wasn’t great is the bathroom, it was smelly and if the door wasn’t closed the smell would get into the room. Other that that the hotel was great babe.

What an amazing hotel in the heart of the city. Very easy walk to all the attractions like Royal Palace, Pedro Museum, etc. The bed was so comfortable didn’t even want to get up. It was so clean beyond clean. All the toiletries were provided. This hotel put other big names hotel to shame.

Stayed here for two nights in June. We arrived late and were initially given room 001, they were fully booked so I assume this is the last room they use! It's next to the bar. To be fair we didn't hear noise from the bar but after getting into bed a very loud noise started, I guess either broken aircon or someone having a shower in the room above. It was constant for 10 mins so we got dressed and packed our bags and asked to move. The manager was able to juggle some bookings and move us (to a suite, too) which was much appreciated as we were desperate for some sleep. Apart from that, I left my fitness watch in the room and they were kind enough to tell me and give it to me when we collected our bags. I have left valuables in other hotel rooms before which mysteriously disappeared so it was great that they returned it. The only negative was a lukewarm shower on one of the days.

My keycard would constantly malfunction, I had to go down to reception for a new keycard on multiple occasions. Also the water in the Jacuzzi is cold, and Hotel would not increase the temperature.

Excellent stay! The front desk lady, Veronica, was really sweet and nice. She accommodated us even giving us an early check in, this was a huge benefit as we were so tired and we there at around 8am, way before our check in time. I would highly recommend this hotel!

There are a lot to like about this hotel. The location is perfect and within walking distance to all the places that we wanted to visit. The staff is friendly and helpful. The room is clean and up to date. There are many stores and restaurants around the hotel. The train station is nearby.

Really nice hotel for our visit to Madrid - my first time! The location was great - an easy walking distance to Plaza Mayor and lots of nearby restaurants, bars and shops. The hotel was clean, friendly and comfortable, with a nice street view from the balcony window - and the breakfast was really good too..!
