It needs some upgrades; it has some remodel items but needs more. The staff is excellent, location as well and breakfast very good. Just a cross the street from the ocean and many restaurants.

I stayed 14 nights at Hotel Tirreno (July-August 2022) on a work-related trip. My review of Hotel Tirreno grants it 2 out of 5 stars. They are a far cry from a 4-star hotel category. Personnel needs training and more formality. The cleaning crew was super friendly but other employees not so much. They tried to keep remodeling my room during the day and I forbade them to do it because it was leaving dust everywhere. Never apologized for it. Overall my experience was below average.
**Hotel is still under remodeling, throughout the whole summer at least. Even though they said they were done early July.**
Lobby and 1st Level: Very small and informal
Room: Less rooms it seems and more crammed together. Although they have been remodeled, they did it half way, mixing the old/outdated with new making it seem that they ran out of money. The rooms need work period. They have windows that open up nicely. Has a 32” tv and closet space big enough for 2. They also have a trip hazard when you go into the bathroom as they have a 12cm step (ridiculous!).
Bathroom and Shower: Showerhead is old and damaged, very small space to work with. Has a spacious rack to put your toiletries. Toilet is tiny and cheap version with public bathroom toilet paper (laser thin).
Bed and Sleep: they have regular motel room spring beds which are firm and a bit uncomfortable. Pillows are old-fashioned pillows. Bed sheets are rough and cheap. Typical of what you would find in a 2-star hotel. Very noisy

The worst hotel I visited in my life, the worst staff i met in my life , the worst room i saw in my life , verry very bad, also very aggressive staff .
I will do a official case about the hotel, because they didn’t respect the client and didn’t respect themselves, very bad moments i spent

Hotel needs renewal. Very old. 4 star is overrated.

We were very disappointed with the standard of our shower (door and holder for showerhead broken) and the unwillingness or inability of the staff to arrange a repair during our stay in the hotel. Especially as we had booked the most expensive room/apartment of the hotel

Great hotel, brilliant location. Amazing staff, go the extra mile to make stay amazing. Special thanks to the Manager - Martina, the receptionist Elisa and Daniela.

This was a funny hotel booking as there was another hotel of the same name a couple of miles away, so we got there by mistake. the place was very dated but the room was lovely and so was the breakfast. a little too far out of Forte dei marmi to be perfect but an OK place.

The hotel is a family owned hotel and it made us felt at home staying there. Very modern interior design and comfortable staying. Only thing you have to watch is that there is no heater and Massa can be quite cold durin winter

The hotel staff was very friendly and took care of the needs of my 6 family members and I; wound up in family room in order to accommodate our comfort. This was the best beach town we stayed in and was close enough to do what we came for...The beach and Cinque Terre by train from La Spezia.

Very clean and quiet modern rooms. Staff were very helpful. 5 minutes walk to the beach. Will stay there again.
