This place is amazing!!!
The service is incredible - right from the start smiles were on everybody's face and they never left for our entire stay.
The pool and beach are superb... Chilling by the pool and watching the sunset while sipping on beers and cocktails is what dreams are made of.
A quick walk down the road gets you to a minimart or a little longer stroll down the beach gets you into town to buy food and see the locals.
The beach in front of the resort is perfectly clean and there is volleyball, kayaking and paddle boarding to be done.
The rooms are beautifully spacious and clean, and even with a mozzie net - which is definitely needed. The best sleep I have had in ages... Due to the bed and the peacefulness of the place.
The gardens are beautiful, with lots to look at and even a pool table hidden in another bar area.
I would definitely stay here again - possibly bringing many more friends.
Thankyou to all the staff who made us feel welcome!!!
Oh and definitely go on the tour we were recommended that takes you to the south of the island where you go snorkeling and on the massive cable car - thanks for the recommendation!!!

Very quiet place perhaps also because we were just 2 bungalows out 50 bedrooms (but they didn’t offer a late check out😳)

This is a good beach getaway. A bit isolated but fine if you are looking to just relax on the beach or by the pool. There is nothing else nearby within walking distance so unless you take a taxi you're stuck on the property. The restaurant serves very good Vietnamese food and has an extensive western menu as well. The restaurant staff were friendly and accomodating, especially one waiter named Duc, his English is very good.

We ver much enjoyed our stay at ChezCarole. The beach, pool, food, rooms and staff were amazing. Arrangements were made for us to tour the island on one day at a reasonable cost. We also travelled into Duong Dong for the evening market. Wonderful evening. If you want a quiet relaxing space with all the goodness mentioned, the chez Carole is the place.

Nicely laid out resort designed to fit sympathetically with the landscape (unlike some of the horrendous modern tower blocks popping up down the coast), with a really charming beach front, helpful staff with good English and smart rooms with traditional Vietnamese style. Starting to need a few up-dates as it's now 15 years old, for example part of our shower cubicle sliding door was missing, but this wasn't really a problem. It's still definitely upper-mid range/edging into the luxury category and good value.
The place is calm and we slept well in our nice shady garden view room with a small private patio, and food and drink in the restaurant was good and wasn't too badly priced. Be aware that it is quite isolated with no other tourist orientated bars or restaurants nearby, so as we weren't brave enough to chance the local food on offer within walking distance we relied mostly on the in house restaurant. The nearest upscale restaurant is 15 mins in a taxi or 25-30 mins (costing 200,000 dong/$8) gets you to Duong Dong town centre/night market - which is worth the trip at least once.
Onsite massage wasn't the greatest either, I chose the Thai style one known to be hard, but I've had them before and have never left limping because the masseur pressed too hard on a tendon rather than muscle!
Overall though we had a lovely time and found it a great place to relax and get away from it all.

Beautiful beach. No service on beach and few chairs. Little / no vegetarian options. Rooms were nice but beds were quite hard. Explanation on surroundings, potential tours could be improved from the reception staff.

Unlike the image posted. Sea view but like garden view. There are many mosquitoes and there are many snails on the outside so it is impossible to use outside baths.

I stayed in Chez Carole with my wife. To say we enjoyed the vacation is to say nothing. It was excellent - the staff is very friendly and helpful, the design of the rooms and bungalows is great - you entirely feel you are away of the city rush, crowds, noise, etc; just you and nature! The beach is so close and it is very cozy. The terrace of the restaurant has a mesmerizing sea view, the food is super tasty, portions are big, and the prices are very affordable! You also have a swimming pool, spa, small gym; you could also rent a motorbike directly from the reception, so you can travel to the Duong Dong town or to the north of the island, since it's all pretty close.
If you are looking for a quiet and peaceful holiday away from noise and crowds - Chez Carole is a perfect option. It's great for families with kids as well. I will definitely come back there.

Customer service is something to be treasured where ever one stays, especially abroad. Chez Carole when it comes to that is like finding the lost city of Atlantis. The staff was absolutely amazing at this resort. My father decided to spend his 75th birthday here, and the staff went over and beyond out of their way to make sure our stay and celebration was fantastic, including a birthday cake. There were only a few very minor issues with plumbing due to the rainy season. However once brought to the attention of the staff, the issues were immediately taken care of. The ocean view room I stayed in was very comfortable with AC, and overhead bed netting if you wished to open the room up at night. The bathroom and shower were very clean as well. Overall, our stay at Chez Carole was an amazing experience and the staff had 95% to do with that feeling. Id highly recommend this resort to anyone.

We booked beach Villa and found every thing perfect. One of the nicest and cleanest beaches on the Island. Lots of free water toys no jet skies only wind and paddle powered

We had a fabulous time at Chez Carole. The staff was amazing and the resort is gorgeous! Beautiful beach and very quiet, relaxed atmosphere. The only small drawback for us was the food options, breakfast bar is great but small menu options for lunch/dinner. But we rented scooters on site and its not far to town for other dinner options. Overall it was wonderful!!

Great location. Good staff. Management is responsive to customer needs. Great pool and beach. Good for a family. Would be good to see them use less plastic straws and more bamboo straws.

wifi never worked - for any of the guests I spoke with, mini-fridge turns off when key is removed (no cold drinks ever), far from everything, power goes off and on all the time.Friendly staff, but they couldnt resolve much.

This resort is a great place to relax and get away but its far from everything else. If youre a couple planning for getaway trip, this would be a great resort and a great deal for place right at its own beach. But for us with kids just staying there and visit Vinpearl Land nearby, its was a bit inconvenient to find restaurants or going for sightseeing. Everywhere else you need to go, youll need a taxi and that could get expensive because everything is so far away. The staffs are friendly and helpful when I needed help but few can speak English though. Overall, its a great place to stay and enjoy the quiet, and relaxing vacation.

This was a lovely little getaway. Perfect beach resort with everything we needed, including peace and quiet, with nothing but lapping waves to listen to at night. It is quite a way out of town though, so make sure you bring everything you need, unless you can ride a scooter. The staff are very friendly, although not a lot of English spoken, but you get by. Food at the restaurant was great, reasonably priced and very well presented. We loved it so much we extended our stay, and we will probably return next time we come to Phu Quoc.
