The shuttle boat leaves at 12:30, and checkin is at 14:00? I can only guess it's a cash grab to force people to get lunch at the hotel's restaurant.
Checkin was chaotic. We had to wait for an hour for our room to be ready. Hotel staff put us in an un-airconditioned room to sweat in the heat along with the remanence of that day's breakfast that was still scattered on the floor.
When our room was ready, we were taken to the reception to the nicely air-conditioned and scented waiting room to wait... for all of three minutes, before being shown to our accommodation. We couldn't of waited in there before?
Our request for a queen bed had been ignored, the only accommodation with a queen bed had broken AC... Guess who slept in the crack between the beds for the next three nights.
Shower had two modes, ultra-low-pressure and barely warm, or high pressure and cold. The rainfall shower/handheld head selector knob had disappeared long ago... We found the maintenance log after dinner one night (it's in the letter box), the last entry was June 2020, it shows...
Instead of the three restaurants advertised, there's one. It closes between whenever they decided lunch and dinner to be, at which point its sandwiches or overprice snacks from the souvenir store.
I don't think there was one meal that didn't make us sick. Not gushing out of both ends sick, just enough to let you know you'd been mildly food poisoned.
It's not worth the money. Stay clear of this one.

Perfect place for relaxing! Everything was O.K except poor Wi-Fi. Staff members, especially Lin, were very kind and ready to help guests!

An amazing stay. The staff are really friendly and helpful. The chalet that we were staying was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast is fabulous! Good for family trip.

Haven’t been to Manukan in a couple of years but it’s always a joy to stay here. They’ve done a really good job maintaining the facilities and the quality of F&B is really good by hotel standards. The beach is a lot cleaner these days as well, which is fantastic.

The experience was amazing. We went in for 1 day and ended up staying for 2.
The people were just extremely nice and accommodating. It surpassed our expectations!

Everything was perfect from transfer from most beautiful ferry harbor we've ever seen to check-in to room to amenities to friendliness and caring of staff to snorkeling to tour offers to food to checkout and staff always attending to us, helping with ferry access and transfer time

Excellent accommodation with beyond expectation service and highly recommended for anyone looking for a wonderful beach getaway holiday.
4.3
It’s so private after 16:00 until 8:00 as all the public boats from mainland and other islands will stop.
Highly recommended.

All in all a perfect place... The beach Gets a bit busy with day tourists between 9am and 4pm.
The villas are super nice with all possible annemities. Housekeeping fills up the fridge every day with water AND plenty of softdrinks. The restaurant is serving delicious foods and staff super friendly in all departments. Resort is well maintained overall and matrases were super good
Strongly recommended place... Perfect for your honeymoon or just a few relaxing beach days.

Fantastic stay and place

Friendly staff. Quite at night. Great food. Large and clean room.

I like the environment of accommodation, very close to nature and quiet. On the other hand, not doing well in sanitation, such as the bed sheets have a lot of smudges and there are many ants in the whole house.

This is a lovely hotel in a gorgeous setting. The villas, especially, are luxorious - spacious, cool and clean. Staff are very helpful, and the food was pretty good.
The only down-side is that the island does get very busy with day-trippers and this makes your arrival and exit (i.e. boarding or leaving your ferry) a little chaotic.

Staff was beyond amazing. I’ve stayed in a lot of hotels in my life but they went above and beyond.

wonderful staff, beautiful white sand beach. the triple lwvel villa was an unexpected delight. my only suggestion for improvement is to seal up the bathroom glass ceilings from the outdoors as mosquitoes get in and the rooms had a number

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful resort (2 days 1 night). We stayed in a one bedroom hill side beach villa which was fantastic. It was over 2 floors with lots of full length windows to capture the view on both levels. Balconies on both levels, lounge room, sink and small fridge and large bathroom area with spa bath on first level. Huge bedroom on second floor with amazingly comfortable big bed and pillows, comfortable chair overlooking view and balcony to sit outside. Just a short walk down some stairs to beach with fantastic snorkelling - great diversity of fish. As guests (rather than day trippers) you can use beach chairs and umbrella, pool, and get looked after by staff who are so friendly, attentive and helpful. Not many people staying when we were there. For dinner and breakfast they set up private table and chairs on the beach and served us there rather than in restaurant - It was so nice. We loved out stay and Island. Snorkelling was so much better than we had expected and beach cleaner than I thought due to reading previous reports. There still is rubbish though. On the part of beach near our villa that we were mainly on (quieter side of the jetty) they have staff cleaning beach.

Nice island but terrible food and hotel facilities.
4.3
staff well trained, but no telephone, TV signal is poor
4.3
The staff was very nice and helpful. The main problem is that the island isn't owned by the hotel. Therefore groups of tourists come to spend the day on Manukan. The beach and water are completely wasted by the presence of plastic bottles, diapers, etc.
The villas are clean but not exactly comfortable.
Overall: all little bit to pricey for what you get

The only problem that we had was getting to the island. The website tells you to contact the hotel and the number we were given did not work so we could not get through. we did manage to get another number and were told to go to the marina however the staff that we met had no idea how to get to the island and sent us to other locations and we were supposed to be where we started. if we had known to go to the sea quest jetty in the first place that would have solved all problems. Considering the hotel on the island and the hotel where we started from are the same company, the staff should know where to get the boat from. However once we got there our stay was fantastic it really was like the photos. there was not many people there so had the beach and facalities to ourselves - lovely and relaxing.
