The Canzi Hotel was an excellent location for the stunning Iguacu Water Falls, which were in 10 minutes walking distance from the hotel, the Itaipu Dam, and other interesting attractions nearby.
The Hotel was very comfortable and the swimming pools and gardens were a wonderful treat after a long hot day of sightseeing. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and the breakfast was just fabulous. The weather was very tropical but bearable. We will definitely stay at this hotel again, as the airport was very close by so no stressing of being late! Thanks to all the staff at the Canzi.

Overall nice, delicious breakfast included. The toilet in the room leaked though. Could use a bit of touch up. Would rebook.

We had a pleasant stay as a couple in Canzi hotel. Breakfast was very good. Stuff very helpful especially João, he recommended a night show and booked it for us, he showed us directions and answered all our questions. He's very welcoming and friendly.
We highly recommend this hotel

I love the hotel, staff is great and is walking distance to the falls. Is just perfect.

It is fantastically located — less than five blocks away from the Iguazu Falls park entrance. In addition to offering spacious rooms with plenty of natural light, it has two fabulous trails inside the property — one down to the Iguazu river (where it runs very calmly, unlike what you see in the falls); and the other leads you to a smaller water fall. I didn't care that it was 17km away from the town because I didn't go there to visit the town. During the day you can eat in any of the restaurant inside de Iguazu Park or the Parque das Aves. In addition, the restaurant has a good restaurant in the premises. And its prices for laundry services was more than fair. Very please about this choice. I would recommend it — moreover, I would go nowhere else if I go back to the area.

SWIMMING POOL WAS EXCELENT, MAYBE MORE FOOD IN BREAKFAST

This was our first stop in S America. I chose it to be walkable to the entrance to the park. We unpacked and got swimsuits on for a short walk in the back. We saw monkeys in the mango trees, which was cool. Then we swam in the pool before bed. The next day, we had breakfast, which was decent, walked to the park and did the tour ourselves. My daughter had wanted to do the rappelling but it had rained so it was closed. I did not purchase ahead of time, which was good. We did all the walks and then came back. We checked out to go the Argentinean side and the one guy at the desk gave me a hard time about getting a taxi. Was trying to get a kick back or something. But a woman came to the desk shortly and she got me a taxi. You want a taxi to go to the Argentinean side as they have a special lane and dont have to wait in line. Ubers have to wait in line.

Not flash. Very basic so if you want modern don't go there. Definitely don't eat there. The food was terrible. But the hotel staff let us store our luggage there all day while we went out which was really good.

Strange aluminum windows that block light and cannot be opened; room not cleaned including bathroom waste basket x 2; breakfasts unappetizing; restaurant not full service as implied. Did like pools, location near falls and bird park and birds in the back early in am on pleasant grounds....not up to most people's standards and not as cheap as it should be to compensate.

It could be a be a bit cleaner, we found the french windows shutters completely weird, when you flashed the toilet there was a banging noise for 15 mins afterwards. Friendly and helpful staff, decent breakfast as long as you get there before 9am and good but limited food at the restaurant. The mattresses need replacement but they don't give you backpain. Good internet connection. Next to the entrance of the Reserve and the Parque das aves!

Very convenient location if you have to catch an early flight, just a 5 minute cab ride from the airport. The park entrance to the falls is a 10 minute walk down the road. The food at the restaurant is good enough, and service is friendly. Rooms are basic but clean, overall good value considering the price.

The breakfast was great and the room was nice, but they don't have good customer service. They didn't clean my room, noone told me that I had to give them my only key to have this service. I tried to ask for an extra towel and had to give them the used one prior to be given another. I tried to talk with the front desk people in spanish and in english, but communication was terrible and they were not accomodating. We were charged a different price than the reservation on hotels.com and when hotels.com called them to try to fix it, I was told that they would hand up on hotels.com - in the end, hotels.com issued me a coupon for the price difference. I would not stay there again. there is no advantage to being close to the brazil side of the Iguazu Falls - getting to the falls is easy and given the price of the park, it is not like you need to walk there every day. I would suggest being in a hotel that is near restaurants and other things of interest for nighttime. I would also suggest being in a place where you can be understood and will comply with the arrangements made with hotels.com

I booked this hotel because of its proximity to the airport. It had the additional advantage of being within easy walking distance of the bird park, which was a fun sight. The room was clean and the hotels condition adequate. For a hotel in this range, it was satisfactory -- of course it wasnt incredible or mind blowing, but it did what I expected. Note that taxis in Foz do Iguacu seemed outrageously expensive to me. A taxi from this hotel to the city center was around R$50, and the 6 minute ride to the airport was R$30.

hotel a bit dated. could have been better.
