It's ok for the price and location.

First room had a roof leak. They switched rooms for us but it still had some holes in the wall, bit dirty carpet, very small bathroom.
5.0
Amazing stay
6.0
As a budget accommodation it did what it needed by providing a warm bed, bathroom and breakfast but there was nothing of note to make it stand out.
2.0
To noisey and can hear everyone in the other rooms wont stay here again
6.0
The property needs to provide microwaves in the room and we leave for 2 nights I feel it was not worth it as the room for family of 3 is small the sheets and pillow cases were old .
6.0
Average, bellow my expectations...No one observe the rule about no noise after 22:00 and looks as mad house in some days...I expect that the milk, coffee and tea are supplied on daily bases in the room...
6.0
I can say it was okay

The room didn't have temperature regulations and the room got too hot. The tissue dispenser fixings in the washroom was ripped off earlier and not fixed back. So the stay was cheap but you get what you pay for.

Location is very convenient, short walk to the Skyline gondola & 10 minutes walk to RealNz Milford sound coach bus pick up. 15 minutes to downtown area. The place is outdated, the carpet is super dirty, lucky we brought our own sleepers, there was coffee stain on our blanket, informed the receptionist & house cleaning but nothing done , was hoping they change for us ! The washroom was clean, would be nice if they put some hooks inside for towels ! The provide body wash but no shampoo or conditioner, need to bring your own,

Going up to the property is too tiring. But it has good view of Queenstown Centre.
6.0
Such a steep hill to walk up to property, very thin walls so very noisy also stayed in a loft room and couldn't stand up in loft as ceiling so low.
6.0
The amount we pay for 2 nights is just fair and enough.
Staff are accomodating.

bad cleaning

Place is good. Staff is good. Best price in the region. Be mindful it's a bit far from the center if you're walking, but it's walkable.

I found everyone to be gracious, the place was quiet but friendly and within walking distance. The facilities were clean.

Nothing, would not recommend or stay there again.

Where do I start.... broken bunk bed safely rail so our children had to share the bottom single bed, dirty room, leaking shower, neighbouring rooms partying all night which led to basically no sleep and the carparking was an absolute joke due to being way too small and steep which meant we had to park 2 blocks away due to no free spots. Definitely not family friendly at all. We checked out after the first night and went elsewhere. Save yourself the headache and avoid staying here.

I did not like
(1) Small room with congested space
(2) Not very clean
(3) Bathroom is not very good
(4) Less light in the room
I liked
(1) Best value for money. With this small amount of money the service they provided was awesome
(2) Breakfast was superb. I am amazed that they gave us so much (unlimited bread, milk, verities of corn flakes, coffee etc.) with so little money
6.0
Great staff & unexpected breakfast & coffee. Best value I could find in overpriced Queenstown. Shame about inconsiderate noisy guests coming in till early hours & talking loudly while walking all though building & even some standing outside rooms talking on telephone at 1am = poor nights sleep.

Very good and affordable option. Walkable distance to town centre and main attractions. Friendly staff. Yes it is not a 5 star hotel and does not have something you will find in 5 stars therefore the price is not any close to that. Very much worth every cent you pay. Would definetely stay again.

Good for short stay
6.0
Great as a budget option, beds and linen super clean.
Not well soundproofed between levels and wifi is difficult to set up and painfully slow.
Good location just a short walk from town.

Lovely clean room with awesome views of Queenstown. within walking distance of shops and nightlife

Not great at all sorry

Reavers Lodge was good. Just what we needed. Warm, dry. Value.

I didn't like the steep stairs up to bed and also
the bedding was not good.
3.0
Nice room. Receptionist not present throughout our stay. No information for time of breakfast. Left at 8am in morning with no sign of breakfast being available.
4.0
simple but good breakfast. friendly staff. value for money (for queenstown anyway)

My stay was good ..if I was to complain about anything it would be the room above us is nosey when they walk around and the parking is crap.. hard to get a park if your not early enough ..other than that it was good and very reasonably priced

Was great lodge accommodation in Queenstown for the price.
Staff very helpful.

Some reviewers seem to be rather unrealistic about Reavers, rating it lower yet I found it reasonable for the price. I had a soft bed - prefer harder but that is luck of the draw. The room was tidy, clean and satisfactorily appointed. En suite was clean and had good shower water pressure. Room servicing upon request was okay as I really don't need a fresh towel every day! The continental breakfast included was fine - no juice but good coffee. Staff were friendly and helpful though the office seemed to be unmanned quite often. Great location in town and awesome views - photo was from outside my door.
6.0
Pretty crap, rooms looked nicer online, no outdoor seating area, bar closed all the time except for breakfast. Would not recommend.
Showers mostly cold.
Staff very friendly though
8.0
Fair value for the property. Queenstown ‘cultural’ hub and lakefront are a 20 min. walk away. Leave vehicle parked at Reavers to avoid downtown parking hassles. Save energy for the final 150 m steep uphill walk to this hotel.
8.0
It was no frills but had everything we needed and was cost effective
4.0
I had very little sleep due to the people upstairs walking around and the floor squeezing with their every step
4.0
Unclean rooms and run down and up a very steep hill would not stay here again.

Great friendly staff

Check-in was easy, but immediately noticed a less than pleasant odour in the room and heard others commenting on their rooms too. I traced the problem to the drains and eased the situation with a few kettles of boiling water down the drains in the kitchen and bathroom sinks.
Cooking facilities are small with a two ring plug-in hob in the cupboard. I needed to clean it before use and only one ring really worked.
As the room rate was more expensive than many of my previous stays on my trip around South Island, several of which had been entire houses it seemed that this stay was pretty poor value for money.
It's also at the top of a very steep hill so consider that if your fitness level is not compatible.
2.0
disappointed. Not hygienic at all. i didn't expected this at all and would not come again and wont recommend to use this website at all. The heater didn't worked at all and bedsheets and blankets are very dirty, even though washrooms are very bad. even management didn't fixed heater even though we complained about it.
