My stay was wonderful. All the staff at the resort knew who I was and looked after me, whether it was at the restaurant or if I needed anything such as a taxi. The view from the ocean rooms is amazing.

We swam in the pool, ate in the restaurant, but missed the fia fia night because of heavy rain. We will stay again.

The resort is nicely located by the sea with nice garden . Pool and pool deck also good. The room was spacious, but a bit dated with some minor issues such as loose toilet seat.
The main drawback is that the beach is not swimmable. There is a bay which looks inviting, but the bottom is not sandy, but made up of slippery and soggy mud.
Staff was friendly and helpful as always on Samoa.
All in all, not really value for the money charged.

The location couldnt be better for snorkelling and kayaking, the attol keeps the water inside calm and flat most days, the water is beautifully clear too.It was my birthday on the day we arrived and the staff made the day very special. The pool, bar and resteraunt are top notch, highly recommended.

Le Vasa is located not far from the ferry terminal and airport, but about an hours drive from Apia. The cabins are dated but the bed was comfortable and the shower had great water pressure. The few items that needed repairs were fixed efficiently although some staff had trouble understanding English. Rooms are not serviced for short stays but they will replace milk and tea and coffee facilities. If visiting Samoa you really need to hire a car if you wish to leave the resort, as apart from taxis there is really no other transport for tourists. Tour excursions are available but limited. Everything is so far apart.

Everyone was very friendly and tried to be accommodating. Each individual unit was an amazing experience. It made everything seem so private and special. The view was breathtaking!
One thing that could have been done more efficiently was the payment of the restaurant. Upon check in, we were informed to pay the tab at the registration area. After dining the evening after check in, a server came to our fake to ask for payment. We gladly paid, but were unsure why we were instructed to pay at the register. The next morning we signed a slip then payed at the registration desk upon check out.
This was still an amazing place to stay!

A lovely resort with a real island feel with the gardens and coconut trees aplenty. Lovely staff and fales. The pool was lovely also. The restaurant was great with lots of yummy choices.

Had a great over night stay at Le Vasa, a bummer we didn’t stay longer to enjoy the facilities more but will definitely be back for 2 nights minimum. Room had everything we needed and looked out on to the lagoon, a pity the weather wasn’t amazing but that’s out of anyone’s control. Having the pool table available was a good option for indoor activities.

Peaceful place to come and enjoy the tropical island paradise

Smaller older resort with great staff. Several guests seemed to be visiting for family reunions.
Phyllis took us on a wonderful walking tour of Manono Is and we met her family!

THE most peaceful and natural atmosphere on Upolu…a resort of superb cooking and non-Western environment, extremely caring management and staff… a truly Samoan resort in which to ‘veg-out’ and embrace Samoan time.

We enjoyed this property- staff, food, facilities were all great

A very pleasant place to stay with nice facilities I think maybe the front of house staff could do with a bit of training with regards to ensuring charging is correct
4.0
Very late checked-in as room was not ready on time.
We stayed for 6 nights with no room service, beds weren't made with no clean sheets and no clean towels until a complaint lodged at the office the night we checked out.
Would be nice if a microwave and a TV is available for the quests.

We will definitely be going back to Le Vasa. Its a pity we only stayed the one night.

I stayed here for one night and beware. If if you decide to pick this place and you get room 12 it means your room is facing the car park so all night we heard cars coming in and out
There is nothing special about it and I felt that the staff had no clue about anything-
If you read this, you think you wanna stay here maybe consider somewhere else it’s very meh
Prob the worst accommodation, I stayed at in Samoa

The resort was beautiful. There are bits and pieces in the rooms that need to be upgraded but I did see the guys starting to do that while we were there. Besides that, I have nothing to fault as it was such a beautiful place

Enjoyed our one night stay. Close to Airport & wharf. Will definitely return the food was so good!!

The resort was nice although a bit worn and the staff generally helpful and courteous. Food in the restaurant was delicious (with generous portions) albeit at resort pricing. Please note, they do NOT honor the prices listed on Expedia for extra services such as airport transportation. This was a big turn off to me as this is the primary reason I stayed here for my final night due to proximity to airport for early flight.me as

Lovely staff and an awesome oceanside setting, but let down by poor maintenance and is a bit worn down.
It's a hot and salty tropical climate, so it's a pretty harsh environment for buildings, but a lot of things were just broken. The Spa pool was broken. Aircon's in our room barely worked. A lot of the windows didn't close properly so when it rained water came into the room.
Lamination in the bathroom vanity falling off.
Just needs a bit of investment.

We did not feel welcome. The staff appear to be walking on egg shells. The owner was telling someone off in the reception.offie, which was completely inappropriate and they also had dogs, one of which did not appear to like guests. The owner was seen to be hitting the dog with a jandal/flip flop. The catamaran was unusable. The video shown must be from the opening 20yrs ago as this place if alling apart. Its actually quote sad. The pool table doesnt work properly, the fussball table has no ball and the library has approximately 30 books. The location is beautiful, but thats about all.

Le vasa resort has very beautiful surrounds, couldnt ask for better. It is right on the water and has gorgeous well maintained surrounds.
The other highlight is the staff, who are very warm and helpful and friendly.
The fales are nice, clean and comfortable, but, a bit run down in places. They do have a filtered water tap which is good.
While we enjoyed our stay, there were two major problems. One was that the food at the restaurant was never the same twice, it was just a total gamble as to what you'd get. One day my curry was lovely light, creamy and sweet. The next it was a weird tomatoe and oil paste. One day my borthers eggppant dish looked like regurgitated porridge, another guest got it and it was eggppant with marinara sauce and cheese as it said on the menu. Same goes for the drinks which were totally inconsistent. There also is a long wait time, up to 45 mins when there was only a few guests, sometimes meals and drinks didnt come at all.
We could forgive all that but unfortunately the pool gave our children a very sore, raised painful rash. It did the same.to other guests children that we met there.
This meant rhat dir three daya of our 5 day stay we had hot tired bored kids with no pool, s9 it significantly detracted from our holiday.
When i talked to management they were mainly concerned with denying the problem existed.
They said they would drain the pool but didnt.
I found that very concerning.
Ultimately, we couldnt return based on the pool issue. Go atownrisk

on Arrival staff were great . When we got to out hut with sea view the front door didn't lock bathroom door handle was broken but it was clean .We went to the office to book a hire car were told there is 0 av able and they didn't even phone any one .
It took so long to get meal to us in the restaurant the food was ok would have been nice to be able to have a buffet so you could get your own breakfast then we found out they were short of staff so this was why .Staff were kind but on island time .in terms of resort service our hut was not serviced until we asked , we got two roles of toilet paper the whole time, and no cleaning done, whilst we understand there was a lack of service this time around,we hope the resort improves for the future.... overall we enjoyed the concept of the resort however the service and accommodation requires a complete overhaul to live up to the advertisement thank you
