We absolutely loved staying at the Whitlock in Lenox. A beautiful inn with the coziest feel. Great spot on the Main Street of the town.
1.0
Room was gloomy. No mirror except above bathroom sink.
Coffee at breakfast was tasteless and breakfast uninteresting.
2.5
Wonderful stay at the Constance. Staff was universally terrific, great location and an Inn full of character.

We had a lovely deluxe king second floor room at the Constance. Noah was friendly and at the desk til 10pm. The bed and pillows were comfortable, nice size TV with built in Roku to access your streaming services, and easy temp control in the room. The continental breakfast was convenient, as was the free coffee and snacks throughout the day. It is a beautiful old house, and it was a 4.5 star experience. Lenox is lovely, we especially enjoyed driving up to Williamstown, seeing the Clark Institute, and driving part of the Mohawk Trail. The Norman Rockwell museum was great but too crowded on a weekend. We enjoyed the Mount, and an interesting tour at Arrowhead. There is a lot to do in the area. We would gladly stay here again.

Great experience! Town so full of Fall color. Nice rooms with balaconies. Close to many activities.

Very beautiful environment.

Beautiful building and considerate staff. It is ready to walk downtown from here and just as nice to spend a few hours reading in the porch.

Planned this overnight stay with the intent to have a B&B experience. I travel for work, so needed a change from chain hotels. This is a gem! I stayed at the Dewey, and would return for future stays. Located in an older home, it has beautiful outdoor space and gardens, a large library with games, a piano and fireplace. My room was nicely decorated and appointed and cool upon arrival (temps were in the high eighties), comfortable & immaculate room. Quiet location just a couple of minutes walk from downtown with shops and restaurants. The kitchen was stocked with fresh fruit, snacks, tea/coffee and ice--very nice touches. Breakfast is down the road at the check-in hotel, and the porch was available to have your coffee or meal. Just a wonderful find--I would highly recommend a stay.

1. Logan, concierge person, was great. He waa auper friendly and helpful with all the Qs i had.
2. Location great and vive very charming and relaxing.
3. Room itself- just okay- the head board and the floor are uneven, even though things were "clean" they werent "hotel 4 star clean"- mostly i assume because of the diff standards they have- idk. But the bathroom looked nice but functionality waa not great. The sink was falling off the wall and we could barely touch it l. The shower waa backed up so if you showered you were upto your anklesin water woth the sense of the water flooding out of the shower stand and onto the floor...not great at all.

Charming town...charming place

When we arrived there was no one at the desk for a while. Once Logan showed up at the check in desk we were given our room. Logan explained that they didn’t have a key to the room but would open it for us and try and locate the key. No go. But he said he would be happy to lock up for us. Unacceptable. Why would you give us a room without a key? We told him that was a hard no. He changed our room thank goodness, which should have happpened from the start. They were short staffed a weren’t able to offer housekeeping. Someone did knock at one point and offered us additional towels but that was it. Just not impressed and won’t be returning.

Great mattresses! Spotlessly clean for an old house. Friendly and helpful staff. Very good coffee but rest of breakfast just ok. Still, would stay again and would recommend.

My room was full of light and very comfortable. I loved the location - right in the middle of Lenox and walkable to restaurants, shops, etc. Brunch at the restaurant was delicious!

Booked a room for 3 adults not realizing that once we checked in we were given a room at the Dewey in which access to our bathroom was across the hall. Also, my wife has trouble walking so our room on the 3rd floor was a bit of a challenge, given there was no elevator. We only stayed one night so we just dealt with it.

The staff was very accommodating during our late check-in. We had gone to a concert that ended past the 10 p.m. check-in. Brenda and Noah checked in with us and ensured we had all the necessary information. The room was quaint. We appreciated the nose-cancellation sound machine, which helped drown out the neighbors' chatter. They also provided a lovely continental breakfast . We would return here the next time we attend a Tanglewood concert.

Happy with stay. Thank you.

Our room number 8 had an old type of odor so we opened the window. There was one lonely chair in the room. So my husband sat on that and I could either sit on the bed or the floor. Something was wrong with the dining room; so not open for dinner or brunch; which was one of the reasons we booked the inn. Would not stay again.

Very cool rooms, I enjoyed the colonial aesthetic.

We stayed in the Constance. So pretty much everything was fantastic. Great staff and is a perfect place to stay for seeing a show at Tanglewood. The reason for the reduced star is because the walls are paper thin, you can hear everything. They do provide a white noise generator to help keep conversations personal but that can only go so far. Overall great just not excellent. I do not know if this is the same situation at the other two locations.

Rooms were furnished with low-quality amenities (bed; dresser; desk, rug) that had appearances of having been acquired at a Thrift Shop. Room was not cleaned between day #1 and day #2 stay. There is literally no lighting along the front stir entrance, which was extremely unsafe. Three calls to the central desk manager @ Constance were never responded to, even though phone contact was provided in voicemails left. With no on-sight manager at the Dewey, I felt no personal connection to the Inn whatsoever. A thoroughly disappointing experience, across the board.

We stayed in the Whitlock. The location was fabulous. The hotel itself is run down, with worn carpet on the stairs and hallways. The room was adequate, nothing special. No water bottles , no mini fridge, no clock. It was impossible to darken the room much at night, as the pull down shades allow light at the edges. The bed was just ok. However, the Whitlock most definitely has the best location for walking to shops and restaurants.

Room was nice but hallways need an update. Also the towel rack in our room was broken. More GF options needed for continental breakfast.

Access to town was the best thing. Room was clean and neat and adequate for our needs. The only problem was that the continental breakfast did not go long enough. It was crowded, and parking was difficult. Space is small. Suggest adding a half hour, at least.
Lenox is great!

Very nice stay with my wife, comfortable room, excellent hosts. Location perfect, walkable to everything. We throughly enjoyed our stay.
2.5
Cleanliness was very good
I did not like the bed. The "plastic" wrap around the mattress made the sheets slippery and the sheets to come undone from the bed!
Otherwise everything else was very good.
Thank you

Stayed 2 nights, we thought it was a delightful hotel.

Beautiful, charming hotel! Very comfortable beds, lovely terrace and garden, within walking distance of everything downtown.
2.5
A very positive stay. Friendly staff in a beautiful historic home with a beautiful yard and gardens. We enjoyed breakfast on the spacious porch. Free on-site parking is much appreciated as well as continental breakfast with freshly sliced strawberries and blurleberries.
2.0
Barebones comfort, one chair, no desk, difficult TV, noise from HVAC
4.0
Very nice place to stay. Very convenient to Tanglewood. Only slight quibbles were that bed was too big for room (or room too small for bed), and bathroom very tiny.
1.0
Non-functioning electric outlets
Inedible breakfast.
Check-in at different location.
Room key that opens multiple rooms so no security.
Small shower and claustrophobic toilet.
Tap rather than bottled water.
OUTRAGEOUSLY overpriced.

We had a great night-- very walkable to everything in the center of Lenox, and a short drive to Tanglewood! We will definitely be back next time we are in the area.

The Whitlock was a charming vintage hotel. It is well located in downtown Lenox yet quiet. Rooms are comfortable and well maintained. Staff is warm and helpful. We had a very pleasant stay

Great location and convenient to Tanglewood

We stayed in the Dewey - a quaint B&B in an old historic home. Room was very spacious and comfortable. Only quirk was that we thought we were staying in the Constance, but upon checking in, we were directed to another of the group’s properties on the other side of Lenox, which meant that our planned walk to Tanglewood was now a drive. We’d stay again though.

Great central location. Friendly, helpful staff. Delicious breakfast. We enjoyed our stay.
